John Henson (wrist) is doubtful to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday, according to coach Larry Drew

The last time Henson missed a game, it took a few days for the Bucks to release any information about his ankle sprain. Hopefully, this doesn't happen again and Henson fantasy owners can have an idea how long the big man will be out. Larry Sanders was tremendous on Friday and should be owned in all leagues while Miroslav Raduljica is worth a look for owners in very deep formats.

Dennis Schroder (left ankle sprain) will not play on Monday vs. the Heat.

Oct 23 - 1:12 PM

Eric Bledsoe (personal) will not play on Monday vs. the Kings.

Fire up the trade rumors. A report late Sunday night indicated that Bledsoe requested a trade prior to the season, and he sent out a cryptic Tweet that he wants out of Phoenix. Bledsoe met with the front office on Monday morning before the team's shootaround, but all we know is that he was sent home shortly after. His days on the Suns appear to be numbered. Fantasy owners should have Tyler Ulis and Mike James at the top of their watch lists.
Oct 23 - 1:07 PM

Myles Turner (concussion, sore neck) has already been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. the Wolves.

The Pacers only have three games this week and it's unclear if he will play on Wednesday, making him a risky start in weekly formats. With Turner out, Domantas Sabonis and Al Jefferson will continue to see a bump in playing time, but Sabonis looks like the better add.

J.R. Smith will take Dwyane Wade's place in the starting lineup going forward.

Wade requested to move to the second unit, and Smith is arguably a better fit in the starting lineup because of his floor spacing. Smith put up just 8.6 points and 2.3 triples as a full-time starter last season, so there's no reason to add him in most leagues unless you're desperate for 3-pointers.

The Cavaliers will move Dwyane Wade to the second unit going forward.

It's probably the right move for the Cavaliers, as Wade can be more aggressive in the second unit. For what it's worth, Wade is actually the one who requested to make the switch. With J.R. Smith back in the starting lineup, that also spreads the floor better for LeBron James. Wade was a low-end asset in fantasy before this news so this doesn't move the needle much.
Oct 23 - 12:46 PM

Malcolm Brogdon is listed as out for Monday's game vs. Charlotte due to a sprained left ankle.

This comes from the team's game notes, so there's no official word from the Bucks. Assuming Brogdon is out, Matthew Dellavedova will be looking at a heavy workload as the starting PG, while Jason Terry would likely get some run at the point as well.

Kris Dunn (finger) will return to practice on Monday.

He's doubtful to play on Tuesday vs. the Cavaliers, but he's ahead of schedule considering he wasn't expected back until November. Once he returns to action, Dunn will have a chance to compete with Jerian Grant for the starting job, but it's possible this becomes a timeshare.
Oct 23 - 12:17 PM

Ryan Anderson is questionable for Monday's game vs. Memphis with lower back pain.

The oft-injured forward is off to a rocky start to the season, posting 8.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.0 3-pointers on 34.8 percent shooting. If he can't go, the Rockets will likely play more small ball with P.J. Tucker and Luc Mbah a Moute picking up more minutes.
Oct 23 - 11:50 AM

Dennis Smith Jr. (left knee effusion) said he will play on Monday night vs. the Warriors.

After two straight games on the shelf due to swelling in his left knee, DSJ is back. Dallas coach Rick Carlisle indicated that the Mavs aren't concerned about the injury and it's a really good sign that he's returning so quickly considering how cautious the Mavs tend to be. For what it's worth, DSJ said he played through a similar issue at N.C. State. There's no word on any limitations for now, so season-long owners should activate him. Both J.J. Barea and Yogi Ferrell take a hit with DSJ active.
Oct 23 - 11:44 AM

Hassan Whiteside (bone bruise in knee) won't play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

This will be Whiteside's second game on the shelf and it's not clear when he will return. Coach Erik Spoelstra said the Heat will use the same starting lineup from last game, meaning Jordan Mickey will get the nod at center. Mickey only played 14 minutes on Saturday in the first unit, scoring eight points (4-of-5 FGs) with six rebounds. With Whiteside out, Kelly Olynyk and James Johnson also get a bump in value.
Oct 23 - 11:42 AM

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said his plan to trim James Harden's minutes went out the window due to Chris Paul's (knee) injury.

D'Antoni said he will continue to give Harden around 36 to 38 minutes, but added that he wants to start blowing out teams to give him some extra rest late in games. "We have to win games. We'll monitor," MDA said. "It would be nice. We need to play in the sense he needs to sit the last five, six minutes. We need to knock people out. We didn't against Sacramento. We had chances to. We can't miss those chances because every two, three minutes are important as they accumulate through the year." With Paul out for the next few weeks, Harden's value will be as high as it's ever been.
