Latest Headlines

Lance Stephenson took a very hard fall on his hip/back after being upended by Paul Millsap on Tuesday, stayed in the game after shooting his free throws and was then taken to the locker room, and is doubtful to return.

He wasn't moving real well and is going to be sore for a few days. He was able to stay in the game for a few minutes, but was eventually taken to the locker room with about three minutes left in the third quarter. It's hard to see him coming back tonight and he could miss a couple games depending on how he feels in the morning. The good news is the Pacers are off until Friday when they'll play Portland in Indianapolis.
Feb 4 - 9:01 PM

James Harden (strained left hamstring) is probable to play Monday vs. Portland.

Harden injured his hamstring during Saturday's game vs. Atlanta, but played through the strain and put up 18 points, six rebounds, and a season-high 14 assists over 39 minutes of action so we'd expect him to give it a go on Monday. Stay tuned.
Dec 21 - 3:17 PM

Mike Miller (ankle) will play Sunday vs. Memphis.

Miller was able to put up 21 points on 7-of-8 shooting during his last outing, but going up against a tough Memphis squad, it's unlikely he'll be able to repeat that production. Miller is a risky option in daily leagues.
Dec 21 - 3:11 PM

Tony Allen (eye) will not play Sunday vs. the Cavs.

Allen's minutes will be distributed to guys like Vince Carter, Quincy Pondexter, and Tayshaun Prince, with Carter offering the most upside out of the group. Prince and Pondexter shouldn't be considered an option in most leagues.
Dec 21 - 3:06 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Cavs, and is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Jazz.

"Taking a couple of nights off isn't the worst thing in the world," said head coach David Joerger. "His knee is pretty swollen." The good news here is that an MRI on Randolph's knee came back clean, so he shouldn't be looking at a prolonged absence. Expect Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos to see some extended minutes with Randolph unavailable, and the guy who starts will make for the better play in daily leagues. Stay tuned for an update on the Grizzlies starting lineup.
Dec 21 - 3:00 PM

James Johnson will enter the starting lineup in place of Landry Fields (concussion) for Sunday's game vs. the Knicks.

James Johnson will spend most of the game defending Carmelo Anthony, and he makes for a decent plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Greivis Vasquez will also likely see extended minutes off the bench, and he has a favorable matchup today vs. the Knicks.
Dec 21 - 2:57 PM

Dwight Howard (right shoulder strain) is being listed as probable for Monday's game vs. Portland.

Dwight was able to fight through the strain and put up a double-double during his last outing, so we'd expect him to give it a go again on Monday. Still, owners will want to check back for an official update on his status closer to Monday's tip, and if he sits, Tarik Black would slide back into the starting lineup.
Dec 21 - 2:53 PM

Derek Fisher was not optimistic when asked about J.R. Smith (heel), and speculated that he could be out another week in order to rest his heel.

For as long as Smith is sidelined, Tim Hardaway Jr. will continue to soak up all his minutes, and he should be owned in most leagues. Over the past two weeks, Hardaway Jr. is averaging 15.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per game over 29 minutes of action and he has almost zero competition for minutes. Go grab him if he's still available.
Dec 21 - 2:18 PM

Taj Gibson (ankle) was a full participant at practice on Sunday, and there is a good chance he plays on Monday.

Gibson has had some tough luck with injuries this season but he is getting very close to a return. His status will likely be determined after shootaround on Monday and his owners will have to check back for official confirmation. If Gibson can't go, Nikola Mirotic will continue to see big minutes off of the bench and will be worth a look in most leagues.
Dec 21 - 1:55 PM

Derrick Rose (illness) practiced partially on Sunday, and head coach Tom Thibodeau is hopeful he'll be able to play for Monday's game vs. Toronto.

The Bulls are always going to be cautious with Rose, but at least he has a shot to play in this one. We should have further updates after shootaround on Monday, and we will provide those as needed. Expect Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks to pick up the slack if Rose can't go.
Dec 21 - 1:52 PM

Danilo Gallinari was diagnosed with a meniscus tear in his right knee, and the tentative timetable is three weeks.

This is a huge blow both Gallinari and the Nuggets, as he was finally showing signs of improvement before this setback. He will need surgery, and he is expected to miss at least three weeks. However, we wouldn't be surprised if he was held out for even longer, and it looks like Wilson Chandler will have no competition for playing time in the near future.
Dec 21 - 1:33 PM

Amare Stoudemire (rest) and J.R. Smith (heel) will not play in Sunday's game against the Raptors.

This is a tough blow for Amare's owners, as he was expected to play after taking the day off on Saturday. On the other hand, Smith was never expected to be available as continues to recover from plantar fasciitis. Cole Aldrich will likely continue to start for Amare, but he is only worth a look in deeper leagues.
