Kemba Walker is in the starting lineup for the Bobcats on Tuesday.

He missed seven straight games with an ankle injury but appears to be good to go tonight. Additionally, he shouldn't be on a minutes limit either, so feel free to get him into your lineup.

The Thunder have agreed to hire former Pelicans coach Monty Williams as an assistant under Billy Donovan.

It's an exceptionally quick turnaround for Williams after the Pelicans cut him loose on May 12. He has five years of head-coaching experience with New Orleans, compiling a 173-221 record during the regular season with first-round playoff exits in 2010-11 and 2014-15, and there's little doubt that he'll serve as Donovan's head assistant. Current assistants Mark Bryant and Darko Rajakovic are expected to keep their positions, and OKC is still searching for another coach with "a strong defensive pedigree."

Carl Landry will miss 4-5 months after having right wrist surgery to repair a torn ligament on Tuesday.

Landry missed five games in January due to soreness in his wrist, but the extent of the injury wasn't revealed until he had a postseason MRI. He's struggled to stay healthy since inking a hefty contract with the Kings, who still owe him a guaranteed $13 million over the next two seasons. His status for training camp is uncertain, meaning Jason Thompson (and possibly Derrick Williams) may have less competition during the season's early stages.

Klay Thompson (concussion) has completed the NBA's concussion protocol testing, and he has been cleared to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.

Thompson was never really in any danger of missing the Finals, and all reports are that he'll be 100 percent for Game 1 against the Cavs on Thursday. Through the playoffs so far, Thompson has compiled averages of 19.7 points, 3.0 three-pointers, 2.9 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.4 turnovers per game on 45.9 percent shooting from the field. He'll be a tough cover for Cleveland.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that Marreese Speights (calf) is "ready to go" for Game 1 of the Finals.

Speights has been sidelined since the Warriors' second-round series against the Grizzlies, but he'll be back in action for the Finals. However, he'll have a very limited role with the Dubs, maxing out at around 12 minutes per game, which isn't enough time to put up any meaningful fantasy value. He'll provide Golden State with some depth, but he's not a fantasy option in most formats.

Steve Kerr said that Klay Thompson (concussion) participated in Tuesday's practice, and that he "looked good."

Shaun Livingston also echoed Kerr's statement, saying that Klay "looked good," and that "he's ready" to play. This is Thompson's second-consecutive day going through a full practice, and he said that he's "99.9 percent sure" he'll play in Game 1 of the Finals, and that that decision will be made later on Tuesday after he's evaluated by the Dubs' medical staff. We'll continue to provide updates as they become available, but at this point it seems safe to assume that Klay will be in uniform for Game 1 of the Finals on Thursday. Stay tuned.

The Bulls officially announced Fred Hoiberg as their next head coach on Tuesday.

"We feel strongly we've got a guy with a skill package of a winning coach, a natural leader and great communicator," said Bulls GM Gar Forman. Hoiberg's contract with Chicago is being reported to be worth $25 million over five years, and he'll have some big shoes to fill stepping in for former head coach Tom Thibodeau. Hoiberg likes his teams to play at an up-tempo pace, and he alluded to that during his presser, saying Derrick Rose is at his best when he's playing downhill. Hoiberg also said he's already talked with Nikola Mirotic, so Miro could be looking at a much larger role next season. It sounds like Hoiberg is going to be a fantasy friendly coach.
Jun 2 - 3:16 PM

Chris Bosh (blood clots) has resumed on-court work, and he is now training without any restrictions.

"I look at it as a blessing that I have the time to work on my body, work on the things I need to work on. I never have the time usually in the offseason," said Bosh. "But this year I have the opportunity to build slowly and correct some things I need to correct and come back next year in the best shape of my life." All signs point towards Bosh making a full recovery from a scary bought with blood clots in his lungs, and he'll be a solid mid-round target in next year's drafts.
Jun 2 - 2:27 PM

Klay Thompson (concussion) said he expects to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.

While Thompson's status for Game 1 against the Cavaliers had been up in the air, he doesn't seem concerned about his ability to play on Thursday. "I knew it wouldn’t take me more than a few days to get back to normal," said Thompson. "To me, I think this one was mild, not really severe. It was perfect, because I got a week off to get fully healthy." We'll update Thompson's status heading into Thursday, but it looks like the Warriors will have their sharp-shooter for Game 1.
Jun 2 - 1:52 PM

The Bulls will announce Fred Hoiberg as their new head coach Tuesday afternoon.

It's been the worst-kept secret in the NBA this week and Hoiberg is going to have some big shoes to fill. His deal will be a five-year, $25 million deal, according to Yahoo! Sports. Hoiberg's Iowa State teams played with a ton of pace and were also fairly efficient. The Bulls were never in the top 20 for pace with Tom Thibodeau, so there should be more fantasy goodness to go around.
Jun 1 - 9:02 PM

Klay Thompson did everything at practice on Monday and said he fully expects to play on Thursday.

He went through five-on-five, shooting drills and participated in defensive drills. Thompson also said he's a nine out of 10 for his health. He'll be evaluated on Tuesday morning and said he'd be "very shocked" if he didn't get cleared. We'll have an update tomorrow morning.
Jun 1 - 6:06 PM

Klay Thompson (concussion) was shooting around after practice on Monday, but he still hasn't been cleared to play.

He had a lengthy workout and is easily on track to play against the Cavs on Thursday. Thompson hasn't been having headaches and he doesn't appear to have any light sensitivity issues. Expect him to be a full go without a restriction on Thursday.
