The Lakers have traded Steve Blake to the Warriors in exchange for Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Lakers are in all-out sell mode and are looking to deal pretty much anything they can. Blake was outstanding for the Lakers this season while the team was extremely shorthanded, but his minutes will take a major hit on his new team. His owners can basically cut him everywhere.

Marshall Plumlee has agreed to a partially-guaranteed deal with the Clippers.

The Knicks waived Plumlee back on July 7 after he played a grand total of 170 minutes with the team last year. Plumlee did get an opportunity to start one game last year, but he didn't score in that one. Plumlee could have a chance to be the third center on the roster, but that would mean the Clippers would slide Montrezl Harrell over to the four.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) announced on his Facebook page that he is currently unable to practice and will not play for Greece at Eurobasket.

We first learned that Antetokounmpo was dealing with "knee discomfort" earlier this month, as he was unable to practice for five days in preparation for Eurobasket. However, he reportedly had an MRI, which came back clean, and it appeared the issue was behind him. Giannis played in Greece's next game, vs. Montenegro, last weekend, scoring 20 points. After that contest, he took off for a scheduled tour of China. At this point, we don't have any further details as to the extent of the injury. We'll pass along an update as soon as one is provided.

Jeff Withey agreed to a one-year deal with the Mavs.

The Mavs still haven't brought back Nerlens Noel yet, but Withey should still have a tough time making the Mavs roster. Withey did get one start last season and played in 51 games, averaging 2.9 points per effort.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kristaps Porzingis has emerged as a "primary target" for Cleveland as they consider possible trade scenarios involving Kyrie Irving.

Wojnarowski notes the Knicks are not currently interested and would only consider such a trade if the Cavs were also willing to take back Joakim Noah's contract. However, Woj does state that New York may consider moving KP at some point if the relationship between Porzingis and the team doesn't improve. "There continues to be distance between Porzingis and the organization, and how the Knicks truly value Porzingis' future could become clearer once they're together to begin the season," writes Wojnarowski.

According to Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Zach Randolph could be banned from the NBA like former teammate O.J. Mayo if convicted of a felony marijuana charge.

Z-Bo was arrested on Wednesday and charged with "intent to sell" marijuana in California. TMZ reported that Z-Bo was in possession of two pounds of marijuana, but his agent Raymond Brothers called those accusations "false and misleading." This isn't Z-Bo's first run-in with the law, as he had incidents back in 2010 and 2011 -- he wasn't charged for either. According to the league’s collective bargaining agreement, a player can be "dismissed and disqualified from the NBA if he is convicted of, or pleads guilty, no contest or nolo contendere to, a crime involving the felony distribution of marijuana."

Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy confirmed that he plans to play Boban Marjanovic extended minutes this season.

With Aron Baynes now in Boston, Marjanovic is expected to serve as Andre Drummond's primary backup. SVG did say that Jon Leuer will also see some time at center, but that the Pistons will give Boban plenty of playing time. "I don’t want to be in situations where I’m making an immediate response to a team going small and I just reflexively take [Marjanovic] out of the game," Van Gundy said. "That no matter what we’re doing defensively, that we give him a chance." SVG's endorsement is clearly good news for Boban's fantasy prospects.

The Knicks and Rockets have re-engaged on trade talks involving Carmelo Anthony, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

Woj adds that the Rockets are still looking for a third team to get a deal done, and that Anthony has been "steadfast" that he only plans to waive his no-trade clause for a deal to Houston. The Rockets are trying to get someone to take Ryan Anderson, but it won't be easy with $60 million left on his deal. Woj also added that the Rockets will remain patient while the Blazers have an interest in acquiring the 10-time All-Star.

Patrick Patterson underwent a successful scope on his left knee on Thursday.

He will be re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks, so we'll consider him questionable for training camp. He did struggle with his knee last season, so hopefully those concerns will be in the rearview mirror. Recently signed to a three-year, $16.4 million deal, Patterson actually has a decent path to minutes in OKC, as his competition for minutes at the four consists of Jerami Grant and Nick Collison. He averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 triples in just under 25 minutes per game last season, so his upside isn't the greatest.

Tony Parker (quad) said that he's targeting a return to the court in four to five months.

He said back in May that he was targeting a return in January, so it sounds like he's still on pace to meet that goal. "It's OK. It's OK. It's getting better and better," Parker said of his quad. "I'm starting to run like a little bit. I'm walking pretty well. I think it's still going to be a long process. It's still going to take like another four or five months but I am very happy in with the progress." Parker can be ignored in standard-league drafts and wouldn't have been a target even if he was 100 percent. Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills will hold down the fort at PG until he returns to action.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks have asked Carmelo Anthony to expand his "wish list" of teams to join.

Another day, another Melo rumor. It's no secret that his preference is to join Houston, but the Knicks aren't willing to make a "bad trade" -- the Rockets would likely have to include Ryan Anderson's bloated contract and the Knicks aren't interested. Berman adds that the Pelicans, Cavaliers, Thunder and Blazers are all waiting in the wings in the hope that Melo expands his list. The All-Star forward recently had "great conversations" with Knicks GM Scott Perry, but it sounds like both sides are still determined to orchestrate a move away from New York.

Zach Randolph was arrested on Wednesday for drug possession and intent to sell it according to TMZ.

Z-Bo was one of three people to be arrested and it sparked "a crazy disturbance" that forced the cops to call for backup. He was arrested for possession of marijuana, though the "intent to sell" part was due to the large amount of weed found. The bail for his release was set for $20,000. At the least, a suspension for Z-Bo should be on the horizon, but the Kings and NBA will likely make a statement once more is known.
