Patty Mills scored 24 of his 29 points in the second half on Wednesday, finishing with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a 3-pointer in a tough win over the Blazers.

Mills is on fire right now, as Tony Parker sits with a back injury, and has scored 25 or more points in three of his last four games, including a season-high 32 points a week ago Saturday. Over his last five, which includes a six-point game when he dinged up his ankle, Mills is averaging 21.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 3-pointers. Parker will eventually be back from his back injury, but Gregg Popovich may see fit to limit his minutes with Mills playing so well. It's hard to say how long this run will last, but you might as well pick him up and plug him in while he's hot.
Feb 20 - 2:22 AM

Giannis Antetkounmpo rolled his left ankle and went to the locker room on Wednesday.

He had an ugly ankle sprain a few weeks ago, but didn't miss time. Perhaps he just gets taped up and comes back out. We'll add updates as we receive them.
Dec 17 - 11:05 PM

The Mavericks and Rockets are interested in trading for Rajon Rondo.

Both teams make plenty of sense with Dallas as a much better fit. The Rockets have James Harden as their maestro while Patrick Beverley is a near perfect fit for his defense and improved shooting. Dallas also has Monta Ellis, so it's not like they're a tremendous fit either. Rondo would lose some fantasy value with a move. If you're in a deep league, it makes some sense to stash Marcus Smart (Achilles).
Dec 17 - 10:37 PM

Thomas Robinson will start in place of Robin Lopez on Wednesday.

Coach Terry Stotts said he is going to mix up his lineups, so T-Rob is not likely going to draw all of the starts. Joel Freeland is expected to get some starts here and there, so keep an eye on him, as well. Chris Kaman should also get a handful of extra minutes and is the best pickup for owners needing a big man.
Dec 17 - 10:09 PM

Shelvin Mack came off the bench and hit 7-of-8 shots, 6-of-6 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws to help the Hawks crush the Cavaliers 127-98 in Cleveland on Wednesday.

He finished with a career-high 24 points, two rebounds and three assists, taking over the backup point guard duties behind starter Dennis Schroder with Jeff Teague sidelined with a hamstring injury. Mack went on a second-quarter tear, scoring 17 points on 5-of-5 shooting from downtown and the Hawks never looked back in the Cavs' most lopsided loss of the season. If Teague is going to miss more time, Mack could continue to be worth a look. But once he's back on the court it should be Schroder getting the back up minutes, while Mack will watch from the bench. Mack came in averaging just 3.8 points per game on the season.
Dec 17 - 9:59 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) will play against the nuggets on Wednesday.

He went through warmups and everything appears to be fine. Howard admitted he had some soreness following Saturday, but that's to be expected with how much time he missed. Fantasy owners can use him like they normally would. Expect the Nuggets to be in foul trouble tonight.
Dec 17 - 9:28 PM

C.J. Watson (illness) will start against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He missed shootaround due to an illness, but it sounds like he's good to go based on the starting distinction. Watson has been inconsistent on the season, averaging 11.2 points, 4.4 assists and 1.2 triples in 25.0 minutes. He's worth owning in deeper leagues until George Hill (knee) is back.
Dec 17 - 9:05 PM

Corey Brewer is back on the trade block with the Rockets and Cavs as the frontrunners to acquire him.

The Wolves should be getting their banged-up players back soon, so they don't need Brewer quite as much. He's playing around 32 minutes per game for the Wolves right now, so the team would look to guys like Shabazz Muhammad and Chase Budinger to help out. Brewer owners should plan on him losing a ton of fantasy value.

Dec 17 - 8:55 PM

Jared Dudley will start in place of Jabari Parker on Wednesday.

He replaced Jabari when the injury happened, so this move is not a surprise. Dudley also played 20 minutes in the second half on Monday, so he should see a nice increase in playing time. He's worth a look in standard leagues, but there's no need to be too aggressive.
Dec 17 - 8:38 PM

Tony Allen (eye) will not play on Wednesday vs. the Spurs.

He suffered a corneal abrasion to his right eye on Tuesday, and was forced from that game. There is no word as to how severe the issue is, but we will pass along updates as needed. The Grizzlies have yet to name who will start in his place, but Courtney Lee, Tayshaun Prince, and Vince Carter will also see their minutes increased.
Dec 17 - 7:12 PM

Chris Andersen will start at center in place of Udonis Haslem.

The move could stick with the Heat desperate up front. Andersen is an option as a deep-league specialist, but he is not going to have enough value in standard leagues. Luol Deng has actually been playing some power forward while Shawne Williams has struggled quite a bit.
Dec 17 - 6:50 PM

Mirza Teletovic will start for the Nets against the Raptors on Wednesday, replacing Kevin Garnett (rest).

Teletovic just returned from a hip injury on Tuesday, but should be in line for as many minutes as he can handle with KG out of the lineup. Teletovic should be owned in most leagues for his ability to knock down 3-pointers in a hurry, and he should also be considered as a strong plug-and-play option in daily leagues.
