Kevin Seraphin (knee) will not play against the Grizzlies on Monday.

This will be his fourth game out of the lineup and the timing couldn't be worse with Nene (knee) going down at the same time. Trevor Booker will get the start and should see close to 30 minutes of action tonight. He's a solid play in daily formats, but his potential owners should remember the Grizzlies have fantastic interior defense.

Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Luol Deng, Larry Nance Jr. and Brook Lopez will start against the Clippers on Thursday.

As expected, the Lakers slide Ingram over to the two much like they did last year. This lineup isn't going to stick for long and it'll almost certainly change when Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's two-game suspension is up. We'll see a lot of Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle in the second unit.
Oct 19 - 10:21 PM

Justin Holiday made 5-of-16 from the field for 15 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

He is the trigger man and attempted a whopping 12 treys in this game. Holiday is a career 34.2 percent shooter from deep, but he did light it up with the Bulls at 43.3 percent on 60 attempts two seasons ago. The minutes are clearly going to be there and the offense is suited for him, so Holiday should be owned in all standard leagues.
Oct 19 - 10:17 PM

Jerian Grant scored seven points with two rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two turnovers in 27 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

It's pretty clear that coach Fred Hoiberg wants his point guards to get in the lane and find open shooters or cutters. Grant's usage rate and attempts from deep continue to drop with this game and the preseason, so he'll probably be closer to 10 points than 15 to go with dimes in the 6-8 range most nights. He did play somewhat well today and maybe he can keep Kris Dunn (finger) at bay, so he's an option for PG-needy owners.
Oct 19 - 10:16 PM

Robin Lopez scored 18 points with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one turnover in 32 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

That's a lot of usage for RoLo. Only six games last year resulted in more than 15 attempts from the field -- he didn't go to the line more than two times in any of those, too. The Bulls are dying for offense, and all those 3-pointers from teammates could help him get more offensive boards -- four tonight. Lopez won't be a fantasy savior, but he could be a top 100-125 guy in standard leagues.
Oct 19 - 10:04 PM

X-rays were negative on Michael Beasley (ankle) and he will not return on Thursday.

He needed some help to the locker room after he landed on Russell Westbrook's foot. Based on how he couldn't put weight on his foot, he could miss time going forward. We'll see some more Doug McDermott, Courtney Lee, Kyle O'Quinn and maybe Lance Thomas tonight. There isn't really an add to make here for fantasy owners.
Oct 19 - 8:59 PM

Milos Teodosic is expected to start next to Pat Beverley against the Lakers on Thursday.

Giddy up. Teodosic looked outstanding in the first unit during the preseason, especially with pick-and-roll plays. He can dime with the best of them and he's a solid shooter from deep, so it makes sense to add him just about everywhere.
Oct 19 - 8:47 PM

Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) and Zach Randolph (oral surgery) are questionable to face the Mavs on Friday.

It's a good sign to see he is questionable, but the Kings did originally list him as questionable before he was ruled out for Wednesday. If he can't go Buddy Hield and Justin Jackson should get a few extra minutes.
Oct 19 - 8:13 PM

Ramon Sessions, Tim Hardaway Jr., Courtney Lee, Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter will start against the Thunder on Thursday.

Coach Jeff Hornacek said he liked Lee at the three and he'll start him off against Carmelo Anthony and Paul George. Lee is usually a high-floor guy in fantasy, so he could be worth owning, especially in deep leagues.
Oct 19 - 7:28 PM

Norman Powell will start against the Bulls on Thursday.

He will be the 14th different starting small forward for the Raptors on opening night in the last 15 years. Powell reportedly worked very hard on his 3-point shooting and the Raptors are expected to put an emphasis on long distance shooting, so Powell could be firing away on top of his drives. He should be owned in most standard leagues.
Oct 19 - 6:28 PM

Aaron Gordon (sore left ankle) is questionable to face the Nets on Friday.

We didn't notice him go to the locker room, he played 34 minutes, and he played the final six minutes of Wednesday's game. Hopefully, he'll wake up and feel better tomorrow because he would get a dream matchup against the Nets defense. He didn't shoot the ball well in the first game on Wednesday, but he was aggressive and most signs point to a big year coming.
Oct 19 - 6:20 PM

Andre Iguodala (back) and Omri Casspi (ankle) are questionable to play against the Pelicans on Friday.

Iguodala revealed he hurt his back in the weight room, but he did go through practice on Wednesday. Even if Casspi, Iggy and Draymond Green (knee) can't go, the Warriors still have enough depth and it's not like they're worried about their 0-1 start. If they are missing those guys, it should be more Nick Young, Pat McCaw and Jordan Bell.
