Matt Barnes hit 7-of-13 shots and three 3-pointers for 17 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals in Thursday's 142-94 win over the Lakers.

Had the game not been over after the first quarter, Barnes may have had a truly magical night. As it was, he hooked his owners up with a huge night and is simply rolling right now. Make sure he's on your roster and in your lineup if possible, as he's showing no signs of slowing down. He had 28 points and a full stat line on Tuesday, and has been playing at a high level for weeks.

Patrick Beverley (left groin tightness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. Minnesota.

Beverly suffered a minor groin injury that forced him out of Houston's final game prior to the All-Star break. However, coach Mike D'Antoni said that Beverley was "fine" before Thursday's game and Beverly finished with two points, 12 rebounds, five assists and four steals in 30 minutes in that contest. Unfortunately, he may have aggravated the groin, although it's never wise to read too much into the game notes designation. If Beverly does not play, Eric Gordon and Lou Williams would see additional minutes.

Coach Dwane Casey said he is unsure how long Kyle Lowry (wrist) is going to be out, but that "it's not a one-day thing."

Lowry, who sat out Friday's win over Boston, originally hurt his right wrist on Feb. 15. He iced his wrist while on the bench during the All-Star game, but told reporters he wasn’t in any serious pain and that he would be fine. He reportedly even went golfing on Sunday morning. "It was a little sore, paid no attention to it," said Lowry. "But it just constantly stayed bothering me." We will have to wait for an update from the Raptors in order to have a clear idea of what we are looking at going forward. Cory Joseph started and had 11 points and six assists on Friday.
Feb 25 - 11:39 AM

LeBron James (illness) missed shootaround this morning and is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Bulls.

This is the first we've heard of LeBron being under the weather this week. He certainly looked healthy on Thursday, when he tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists in a win over the Knicks. If LeBron does not play, Richard Jefferson would draw the start. However, Jefferson is not a reliable fantasy option even as a starter. If LeBron is sidelined, Kyrie Irving would be asked to carry the offensive load and see a major spike in his usage rate. Kyle Korver would also likely see more minutes and scoring opportunities.
Feb 25 - 10:59 AM

Mason Plumlee went off against the team that drafted him in 23 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring 12 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists against the Nets.

Revenge game? Plumlee basically out-Jokic'd Nikola Jokic with some terrific passing in the post. As you might expect, coach Mike Malone loved what he saw. "He was unbelievable tonight," Malone said. "This is the Mason Plumlee that we envisioned." The coach added how much he liked the screens set, which was his calling card in Portland. He's not going to unseat Jokic and the foul trouble for the young superstar explains the added minutes for Plumlee. Jokic and Plumlee have played together for just three minutes in the last two games combined, so that's a negative for MP. Plumlee is worth a look, but he's not going be this good.
Feb 25 - 2:59 AM

Gary Harris scored a career-high 25 points with two points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Nets on Friday.

Yeah, it was against the Nets, but Harris is on a roll and his coach gave him some credit. "I think Nikola [Jokic] loves playing with him because that is one of his favorite targets because Gary is in constant motion," coach Mike Malone said. Harris has been above his season scoring average in each of his last six games with 16 or more on terrific efficiency in each, as well. His strong second half last year was no fluke and he looks like a mid-round guy going forward. Harris probably deserves more mainstream love as one of the best 22-year-old guards in the NBA.
Feb 25 - 2:36 AM

Nikola Mirotic scored 20 points with eight rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes off the bench against the Suns on Friday.

With Taj Gibson out of the picture, it's a whole new opportunity for Mirotic now. Back in October, Mirotic was fully expected to start for the Bulls this season, but Gibson thriving and Mirotic flopping caused a change. The Bulls still really, really need a shooter in their first unit, so the chance is there for Niko to start over Bobby Portis. He's on the 2017 Mt. Rushmore of most annoying players in fantasy, but give him a look if you want to see if he can stay hot with added motivation.
Feb 25 - 1:18 AM

Derrick Favors scored 19 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting in Friday's 109-95 win over the Bucks.

We were hoping that Favors would look rejuvenated after the break and tonight should be very encouraging for his fantasy owners. He played 26 minutes and added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks, so hopefully this a sign of good things to come. The Jazz had "light conversations" with teams about Favors at the deadline, so he has a lot to prove to the franchise the rest of the season -- he will hit free agency during the summer of 2018.
Feb 25 - 12:31 AM

DeMar DeRozan took over against the Celtics for a career-high 43 points during a 107-97 win on Friday, adding five rebounds, five assists and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

Without Kyle Lowry (wrist), it was DeMar DeRozan over everything. DeRozan has a whopping 41.4 usage rate in his 517 minutes without Lowry this season, so he would be looking at some massive output while Lowry is on the shelf. The new Raptors, Serge Ibaka and P.J. Tucker, had a seamless transition on their new team and those lower-usage guys are another positive for DeMar. Expect big numbers from the All-Star.
Feb 25 - 12:05 AM

Seth Curry scored a career-high 31 points in Friday's 97-84 loss to the Wolves.

Curry couldn't be stopped as he shot 12-of-16 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc with a pair of free throws, adding one assist, one rebound and one steal in 37 minutes. Curry's usage rate without Deron Williams rises from 15.2 to 21.4, so he's a huge winner from Dallas' decision to put Williams on waivers. Expect a strong finish to the season for Curry even with J.J. Barea (leg) nearing a return.
Feb 24 - 11:26 PM

Russell Westbrook recorded his 28th triple-double of the season in Friday's win over the Lakers, racking up 17 points, 17 assists and 18 rebounds.

He joins Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Jason Kidd, Rajon Rondo and James Harden as the only players to record 15+ points, 15+ assists and 15+ rebounds in a regular season game. He shot 12-of-26 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line with six turnovers, as he feasted against a Lakers team that has allowed the third most fantasy points to PGs this season. He gets another dream matchup vs. the revamped Pelicans on Sunday.
Feb 24 - 11:19 PM

Dario Saric kept it going during a 120-112 win over the Wizards on Friday, scoring 20 points with 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes.

The Homie Dario is locked and loaded. General manager Bryan Colangelo said Dario will be the main reason the 76ers won't be tanking, and he wasn't kidding with a ton of offense going through the rookie. Saric doesn't have a backup, he has Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month in the bag, and he has to be owned in every single fantasy league right now.
