Nerlens Noel (knee) said "4-4-14" on his Twitter account on Sunday.

To be clear, there has been no confirmation from the team. The Sixers play the Celtics on that Friday, so the first thought on that day is a possible target date for Noel to make his NBA debut. Interestingly, the Sixers play on Apr. 5 at home, so one would think they'd be more inclined to play him in front of the home folks rather than at TD Garden. Although, Noel is from Massachusetts and lived about 15 minutes away from Boston. The 76ers are obviously going to keep his minutes in check, but he could make his debut this year especially after finally taking on some contact in practice. He's not a must-stash player.

C.J. McCollum hit 9-of-18 shots and 6-of-10 3-pointers for 27 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in 36 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Suns.

The six triples tied his season high, as he did it previously on Nov. 5, and CJM's had it on cruise control all season, scoring in single figures just one time. He's returning solid fourth-round fantasy value this season, but he's on the rise, putting up his best numbers of the season in January.
Jan 17 - 12:53 AM

Damian Lillard hit 11-of-19 shots and four 3-pointers for 31 points, five rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 36 minutes of Tuesday's 118-111 win over the Suns.

Devin Booker stole the headlines with his 43-point performance, but despite the final score, the Blazers were in control of this game throughout, with Lillard and C.J. McCollum (27 points, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 6 3-pointers) leading the charge. Lillard's been back from his calf injury for four games and hasn't missed a beat, going off for 26 points, 7.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.3 3-pointers in those four games.
Jan 17 - 12:49 AM

Devin Booker went off for 43 points in Tuesday's 118-111 loss to the Blazers.

That's the third game of his career with 40+ points. He did everything he could to give the Suns a chance with 21 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as they dropped their third straight game. He finished 14-of-29 from the field and hit all 10 of his free throws with eight assists, six rebounds, two steals, one block and five triples, becoming the first Phoenix Sun to record 43+ points and 8+ assists since Stephon Marbury in 2003. He's quickly becoming one of the top shooting guards in the NBA.
Jan 17 - 12:30 AM

Gary Harris was a beast in Tuesday's win over Dallas, racking up 25 points, four assists, four steals, one block and three triples.

Harris was 8th in the NBA in deflections (133) prior to Tuesday and was everywhere on the defensive end again tonight. He did miss a pair of free throws late, but Harris, Will Barton and Nikola Jokic got the Nuggets back on track with just their second win in their last six games. Harris finished 8-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line and is locked in as a borderline early-round value in category leagues.
Jan 16 - 11:46 PM

Nikola Jokic dominated in a 105-102 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday, scoring 29 points with a season-high 18 rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes.

The matchup was obviously favorable, but the big takeaway from the game was that Jokic didn't log any minutes next to Mason Plumlee -- Jokic's advanced stats are better across the board when Plumlee is off the floor and he's clearly more comfortable playing all his minutes at the five. The Denver offense was running through him even more than usual tonight and he grabbed nine offensive rebounds, finishing 11-of-23 from the field and 7-of-10 from the line. His owners will be hoping that coach Malone sticks with this rotation on Wednesday vs. the Clippers.
Jan 16 - 11:40 PM

Anthony Davis hit 16-of-34 shots and 13-of-15 free throws for 45 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in Tuesday's 116-113 overtime win at Boston, the third straight for the Pelicans.

This wasn't a season-high performance for AD, as he went off for 48 points and 17 rebounds on Sunday against the Knicks. Davis has been crazy good for three straight games, as well as the whole season, and is averaging 43 points, 14 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks over his last three. Unfortunately, he's also played 45, 50 and 41 minutes in each of those games and big minutes are not what AD's owners need from him. You have to wonder if there's a chance he sits on Wednesday night against the Hawks. The good news is he looks fully healthy and energized, and even rammed home a dunk after the buzzer as an exclamation point tonight.
Jan 16 - 10:17 PM

Jimmy Butler hit 11-of-22 shots and two 3-pointers for 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocks in Tuesday's loss to the Magic.

On top of all that, he also made all four of his free throws and didn't have a single turnover. After a slow start to the season, Butler has played like a premier NBA shooting guard and worked his way up to the No. 9 fantasy player according to Basketballmonster.com. Karl-Anthony Towns had a 15 & 12 double-double with three blocks, but the Wolves didn't get much out of Andrew Wiggins on a night Evan Fournier went crazy for the Magic.
Jan 16 - 9:49 PM

Khem Birch set multiple career-highs on Tuesday vs. the Wolves, scoring 12 points (4-of-6 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) with 10 rebounds, one assist and four blocks in 19 minutes.

He played a total of 20 minutes this season prior to Tuesday, but coach Frank Vogel gave him a look with Marreese Speights (personal) out and he made a big impression. It's possible that the Magic will give him another chance even when Speights returns since this is becoming a lost season anyways, so put him on your watch list if you need a big man. We'll let you know if he keeps it going on Thursday vs. the Cavaliers.
Jan 16 - 9:47 PM

Evan Fournier went off for a career-high 32 points in Tuesday's win over the Wolves, hitting 12-of-22 shots and 2-of-2 free throws.

He also matched a career-high with six triples, adding three assists and two rebounds in 35 minutes. Fournier is off to a slow start in January with averages of 14.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.3 triples prior to tonight, so hopefully this performance will get him going. He gets a matchup with the Cavaliers on Thursday, a team that has allowed 118+ points in four out of their last five games.
Jan 16 - 9:40 PM

Bismack Biyombo dominated the Wolves with 10 points, 16 rebounds (six offensive), two assists, one steal and five blocks in a 108-102 win on Tuesday.

That's his 17th career game with five or more blocks and his second of the season (he also had five blocks on Dec. 26). Biyombo has been dominant over his last three games with 15.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks, and while he'll continue to eat while Nikola Vucevic (hand) is out, the Magic will have a tough decision on their hands around the trade deadline -- Vucevic is on the books for $12.7 million next season and could be a trade candidate with Orlando looking at another lost season.
Jan 16 - 9:30 PM

Will Barton will start against the Mavericks on Tuesday.

It sounds like this is a matchup move, but Barton is worth deploying in fantasy lineups regardless of where he begins the game. He'll join Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Wilson Chandler and Nikola Jokic in the first unit.
