Kyle Korver (back) will not play against the Suns on Monday.

It doesn't sound like he even tried to warm up for this game and he's been ruled out about 80 minutes before tip. Korver's outlook for Wednesday vs. the Wolves doesn't sound great and he should be considered questionable at best. Shelvin Mack will continue to start and is worth a look in some formats tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas bottomed out with six points, five rebounds, three turnovers and nothing else in just 14 minutes of action on Friday in a loss to the Pacers.

Woof. Valanciunas took a seat in favor of Pascal Siakam to begin the second half, and JV has now played 20 or fewer minutes in six of Toronto's last seven outings. At this point, anyone expecting something drastically different than what we've seen needs to reexamine the evidence. So long as he's in Toronto, Valanciunas will not be worth the headache. We'll see how the Raptors play their hand after four days off on Wednesday vs. Charlotte.
Nov 24 - 11:21 PM

Wayne Ellington led a strong bench effort on Friday with 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting, with all of his makes coming from downtown.

Ellington played 27 minutes to help Miami beat the Wolves in Minnesota, adding three rebounds, one assist and a 3-of-3 mark at the line. The nine-year veteran is a known commodity at this point, in both reality and fantasy -- he's going to hit 3-pointers in bunches, but that's about it.
Nov 24 - 11:21 PM

Courtney Lee scored a season-high 26 points during a 116-104 win on Friday, adding four rebounds, two assists, one block, no turnovers and two 3-pointers.

He was 11-of-14 from the field in this game with most of his damage coming in the first half with 19 points. Lee is in one of his best grooves of the season over his last five, averaging 14.6 points, 5.4 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 treys. He should be owned in all standard leagues.
Nov 24 - 11:15 PM

Jarrett Jack matched his career-high 14 dimes against the Hawks on Friday, adding 10 points, four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.

Revenge game for waiving him last preseason? Jack has picked up his playing time lately as Frank Ntilikina has lost some playing time. The veteran point guard has been decent in dimes with 7.0 per game over his last five, but he's not really doing much else.
Nov 24 - 10:53 PM

LeBron James triple-doubled in a 100-99 win over the Hornets on Friday, racking up 27 points with 16 rebounds, 13 assists, three blocks and three triples in 39 minutes.

That's his second triple-double of the season and the 57th of his career. The Cavaliers still have the worst defensive rating in the NBA and this was just their fourth game of the season holding their opponent under 100 points, but at least they're moving up the standings with seven straight wins after a rough start to the campaign. James hit 10-of-20 shots in the win, but took a step back from the line where he hit just 4-of-7 free throws -- he was hitting 78.2% of his freebies prior to Friday.
Nov 24 - 10:52 PM

Kyrie Irving scored 30 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in just 25 minutes during an easy 118-103 win over the Magic on Friday.

He is getting close to not fair territory. Irving tonight became the first Celtics player to score 30 or more points in less than 25 minutes of action since Kenny Anderson in February of 2000. In his last 15 games, Irving averaged 23.7 points, 2.9 boards, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.2 treys on 50.4 percent from the field and 87.0 from the line in just 30.0 minutes per game. He's not missing LeBron James one bit right now.
Nov 24 - 10:49 PM

Terry Rozier scored a career-high 23 points with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Magic on Friday.

This wasn't a total garbage-time special with 10 points in the final 14 minutes, but the game getting out of hand helped. For Saturday, Marcus Morris (rest) is not going to play and Jaylen Brown (personal) could be out, so the Celtics may use a lot of three-guard lineups against the Pacers. He could be a DFS option and has some low-end value in season-long leagues.
Nov 24 - 10:37 PM

Kyle Lowry kept his foot on the gas pedal in Friday's tough 107-104 loss to Indiana, finishing with 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals and five 3-pointers.

Lowry was 6-of-11 from the field, including 5-of-8 from distance and 7-of-7 from the free throw line, turning the ball over three times in his 34 minutes of action. After a slow start to the season that had some wondering about how much Lowry has left in the tank, the veteran point guard has squashed that chatter with averages of 20.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 3.5 3-pointers on 35-of-73 (47.9%) shooting over his last six games. He's still a stud.
Nov 24 - 10:36 PM

Victor Oladipo (bruised right knee) exited mid-way through the fourth quarter in Indiana's 107-104 win over Toronto on Friday, finishing with 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting in his 29 minutes of action.

With 5:13 left in the fourth, Oladipo walked to the table to talk to coach Nate McMillan and was shaking his right leg. The Pacers took a timeout at that time and perhaps changed their minds about getting him back in there, but given the situation, we're assuming the decision to sit him was a precaution. However, we're going to mark him sidelined as day-to-day for the time being, so be on the lookout for updates regarding his condition. Oladipo rounded out Friday's line with one rebound, three assists, one steal, two triples and four turnovers, so at least he gave owners something to work with before exiting. If Dipo has to miss any time, Lance Stephenson would be the primary beneficiary with Cory Joseph also potentially benefiting, as well.
Nov 24 - 10:29 PM

Jaylen Brown (personal) said he may not play in Indiana Saturday night if he doesn't return from his friend's funeral in time.

It's been quite a story to see Brown play so well after the passing of his friend last week. On Friday, Brown scored 13 points with two rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in 28 minutes against the Magic. He's worth owning in all standard fantasy leagues. If he's out Abdel Nader, Shane Larkin and Semi Ojeleye may pick up some extra run.
Nov 24 - 10:21 PM

Marcus Smart made 1-of-7 from the field for four points with four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one 3-pointer against the Magic on Friday.

All seven of his shots were from deep in this game. Smart is in some kind of prolonged shooting slump on the season and he's down to just 26.5 percent on the field this year. Among players to qualify for minutes and play 30 minutes per game, no player in NBA history has been below 29 percent from the field. He continues to make an impact in other areas, so Smart isn't likely to lose playing time.
