Samuel Dalembert shot 7-of-8 from the field for 15 points with six boards, two steals and three blocks in 24 minutes vs. the Kings on Saturday.

He's been in and out of coach Rick Carlisle's doghouse, but the coach has given him plenty of leash now. Over his last five, Dalembert averaged 9.4 points, 9.8 boards and 2.6 blocks on 66.7 percent from the field. He's worth owning in standard leagues right now thanks to high block totals.

D'Angelo Russell (groin) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Monday.

This injury came out of nowhere and he may have suffered the injury on Saturday night. If Russell can't go, there should be more minutes for Lou Williams while Marcelo Huertas could be in the rotation.
Feb 8 - 4:36 PM

Roy Hibbert (ankle) is unlikely to play on Monday against the Pacers.

No revenge game here. With Hibbert likely out, that should mean more run for Tarik Black, Robert Sacre and Brandon Bass. Fantasy owners probably don't need to make an add here while Julius Randle could get a couple more minutes again.
Feb 8 - 4:29 PM

Kevin Martin (wrist), Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Kevin Garnett (knee) will not play against the Pelicans on Monday

He is probably out through the break, but other teams may want to see Martin get out there on the court before trading for him. Martin is not worth stashing in most leagues.
Feb 8 - 3:35 PM

Festus Ezeli (knee) is having surgery on his left knee.

It's unknown what the procedure is, but it'll almost certainly keep him out 4-6 weeks or more. With Ezeli out, Marreese Speights should play more in the second unit. Hopefully, the Warriors get their backup big for the playoffs.
Feb 8 - 3:09 PM

Tim Duncan (knee) will not play against the Heat on Tuesday.

The Spurs are likely going to keep him out through the break, which would mean he would be out for close to four weeks. With Duncan out, it'll be David West in the starting lineup while the Spurs haven't played Boban Marjanovic much.
Feb 8 - 2:24 PM

Marc Gasol (right foot) is questionable to play against the Blazers on Monday.

He admitted he is playing through an injury and described it as "playing on one leg." The Grizzlies have a game on Monday and Wednesday, so they might want to be careful with Gasol this week before the break. If he can't go, expect to see a lot of small-ball lineups from the Grizzlies.
Feb 8 - 2:12 PM

Despite not practicing on Monday, Hassan Whiteside (left ankle) is expected to play on Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

Although Whiteside's ankle swelled on him overnight, Erik Spoelstra said Whiteside is okay and "could play big minutes tomorrow." It's unclear if that's Spo's way of hinting that Whiteside will be back in the first five, but Amare Stoudemire is tentatively expected to stick in the starting lineup for now. Either way, Whiteside should be active on all fantasy rosters.
Feb 8 - 1:58 PM

Rudy Gay (sprained left ankle) is doubtful to play in Monday's game vs. Cleveland.

Gay didn't play on Sunday due to the injury, so obviously it's more than just a minor sprain. With Gay sidelined, Omri Casspi's minutes should trend up although he's still likely to (inexplicably) come off the bench behind James Anderson. From a statistical perspective, DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo will be the primary fantasy beneficiaries of Gay's absence.
Feb 8 - 1:51 PM

Nikola Mirotic (appendectomy, hematoma) does not have a target date for his return.

It was previously reported that Mirotic was targeting just after All-Star weekend, but that timeline sounds like it will get pushed back. Fred Hoiberg reported Mirotic was feeling better and is starting to eat again after being forced to a liquid diet, but admitted it will take time to build up his conditioning and stamina in order to get back on the floor. Mirotic could still get back on the court in late February, but it may not come right after the break. While he's out, Taj Gibson and Bobby Portis will see increased minutes.
Feb 8 - 1:07 PM

Jimmy Butler (knee) is feeling "a lot better," but there is still no timetable for his return.

Butler will not play on Monday and is extremely doubtful to return on Wednesday vs. the Hawks, leaving his status for Sunday's All-Star Game up in the air. The good news: It sounds like Butler has a very real chance of resuming fantasy production on the other side of the break, so those with Jimmy on the roster just have to sit tight for now. In the interim, E'Twaun Moore, Tony Snell, Doug McDermott and Mike Dunleavy will all be in the mix for extra run.
Feb 8 - 12:45 PM

Mike Malone hinted that Joffrey Lauvergne will receive more playing time moving forward.

Lauvergne is coming off of a double-double in 29 minutes on Sunday, and Malone is looking to reward the big man. "I've been trying to play him lately because I think Joffrey's work ethic and his character are going to be big pieces moving forward," Malone said. With Nikola Jokic locked into place as the starting center, this is bad news for the out of shape Jusuf Nurkic.
