Nikola Vucevic (Achilles) will not play vs. the Timberwolves on Saturday, according to coach Jacque Vaughn.

Vuc ruled himself out on Friday after feeling sore during pre-game warmups, and the Magic will undoubtedly play it safe with their prized big man this late in the season. His absence will shift Dewayne Dedmon into the starting lineup at C with Kyle O'Quinn staying at PF. The Wolves' big men are also sure to benefit from Vucevic's absence.

Joel Embiid (back tightness) was a very late scratch vs.the Pelicans on Sunday.

Amir Johnson got the start instead of Embiid, and this last-minute move burns all of Embiid's owners, especially on the final night of weekly leagues. We'll consider him day-to-day going forward. If he misses more time, expect Johnson and Richaun Holmes to fill the void.
Dec 10 - 7:20 PM

John Collins (sprained shoulder) said there's a chance he could play vs. the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

If Collins can't suit up vs. Cleveland, he said there's a "really good" chance he'll play vs. the Pistons on Thursday. He was given a 2-3 week timetable on Dec. 1, and Thursday's game would put him exactly at the two-week mark. This is great news for everyone who held him, and you should make sure his owner didn't hastily cut him loose.
Dec 10 - 7:18 PM

De'Aaron Fox struggled vs. Toronto on Sunday, committing seven turnovers while scoring six points (3-of-8 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs) with two assists, two steals and one rebound.

George Hill was out tonight for personal reasons, but that did nothing to boost Fox's minutes or production -- he made a series of ugly turnovers in the first half, and committed four fouls in 23 minutes. The Kings are letting him learn on the fly, and unlike other young guys he's not going to the G League, so at least his role is safe going forward.
Dec 10 - 6:58 PM

Milos Teodosic (foot) is being listed as questionable for Monday's matchup with the Raptors.

Teodosic has been going through full-contact practices for a while now without experiencing any setbacks, and Doc Rivers confirmed on Sunday that the European star is "close," so there's a decent chance he'll be getting back to the court for Monday's home game. Teodosic will likely be eased back into things after spending over a month on the sidelines, but he should be an elite source of dimes once he's fully up to speed, so make sure he's not floating around on your waiver wire.
Dec 10 - 6:51 PM

Moe Harkless (quad) is questionable to play Monday vs. the Warriors.

Harkless missed Saturday's game with the quad issue, which resulted in more run for Evan Turner and Al-Farouq Aminu, and it'll be more of the same if he's out again tomorrow. Check back for another update following Monday morning's shootaround.
Dec 10 - 6:43 PM

Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) will not play Monday vs. the Warriors.

The Trail Blazers have yet to offer an official timetable for Nurkic's return, but him getting ruled out a day in advance two games in a row suggests he's not close. Meyers Leonard got the start in his place on Saturday, finishing with 12 points, four boards, two assists and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes, while Zach Collins swatted away three shots in 19 minutes off the bench. Leonard has been inconsistent throughout his career and Collins didn't bring much to the box score outside of blocks, so these two are really just speculative adds in deep leagues.
Dec 10 - 6:41 PM

Patrick McCaw (concussion) is questionable to play Monday vs. Portland.

Whether he plays or not will be dependent on if he can clear the league-mandated concussion protocol testing, and we should get another update on his status following shootaround. If he's out again, Shaun Livingston and Quinn Cook will split the point guard minutes and Nick Young will have the opportunity for some extended run with the second unit. Stay tuned.
Dec 10 - 6:28 PM

Zaza Pachulia (shoulder) is doubtful to play Monday vs. Portland.

Pachulia has missed two of the past three games with shoulder issues, and it looks like he'll be on the sidelines again on Monday night. JaVale McGee will likely earn another start and there will be more minutes available for Jordan Bell, with Bell being the more attractive option between the two.
Dec 10 - 6:26 PM

DeMar DeRozan dished out a season-high nine assists during the Raptors' sixth straight win on Sunday, adding 25 points and three rebounds in 35 minutes.

DeRozan went 7-of-11 from the line tonight, but otherwise he was very efficient with 9-of-15 field goals and just one turnover. He's rolling over the past five games with averages of 25.4 points, 5.2 boards, 6.8 dimes and 1.2 steals, and has surged into top-30 value in that span. DeRozan is also shooting 47.4% from the field this season, highest since he was a rookie, and his 0.7 triples are the second-highest mark of his career. There's no reason to think he'll slow down.
Dec 10 - 6:26 PM

Anthony Davis will not have a minutes limit for Sunday's game against the 76ers.

The Pelicans are on the first game of a back-to-back set, so maybe Alvin Gentry hits him with a minutes restriction for Monday's game in Houston. As for tonight, he should be flirting with minutes in the 30s and is a must-start option everywhere.
Dec 10 - 5:57 PM

Enes Kanter (hip) will play Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Kanter was seen limping badly following Saturday's loss to the Bulls, but apparently, he's recovered enough to get out there tonight. The Hawks have been giving up big lines to opposing bigs this season, so go ahead and get Kanter active.
