Carmelo Anthony's shoulder wasn't a problem on Friday during a big 108-100 win in Toronto, shooting 8-of-17 from the field for 30 points with eight boards, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

He said his shoulder bothered him on Sunday, but the schedule really helped Melo since that was the Knicks' last game. He was able to get to the line 14 times and really played with a lot of heart. The Knicks needed this win, but the Hawks beating Brooklyn hurts their chances to make the post season. They'll get a tough game against the Bulls on Sunday.

Matt Barnes (calf) will start against the Rockets on Friday night.

He is coming off a two-game absence due to an aggravation to his calf. The Clippers will probably monitor his minutes, so he's not a fantasy option. Reggie Bullock will move back to a reserve and has no fantasy value.

Pacers' head coach Frank Vogel revealed for the first time that in addition to George Hill's knee contusion, he is also dealing with a tear in his quad and is not expected back until mid-December.

Vogel said that the tear did not show up in the initial MRI because there was too much blood, but that is the reason Hill has been out for so long. C.J. Watson is expected to make his season debut Friday night, and it's not known exactly how that will affect Donald Sloan's minutes. However, given Sloan's solid play so far this season, he'll likely remain in the starting lineup as Watson is eased back into the rotation, and he should remain be held in standard leagues until something changes.
Nov 28 - 6:37 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) will not play against the Clippers on Friday.

The Rockets are going to have to start Tarik Black and Donatas Motiejunas against DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin. Howard does not have a timetable to return and his fantasy owners should have him firmly on their benches.
Nov 28 - 6:30 PM

David Lee (hamstring) will not play Friday vs. the Hornets, as expected.

He was doubtful headed into this one, so this news isn't very surprising. Lee is targeting a return for Tuesday vs. Orlando, or Thursday vs. New Orleans, but he'll likely be on a minutes restriction upon his return. Stay tuned.
Nov 28 - 6:23 PM

Austin Rivers will start at shooting guard against the Hawks on Friday night.

He was coming off the bench with Darius Miller starting, but apparently coach Monty Williams is going to run an extremely tight rotation tonight. Eric Gordon only had a 16.1 usage while in the starting lineup before his injury, so that's probably about where Rivers will be. There is very little to like about his upside in most leagues.
Nov 28 - 6:08 PM

Carmelo Anthony (back) will not play against the Thunder on Friday.

There is a lot of talk of the team sitting Melo down for a while to get him to 100 percent. Anthony did do some pre-game shooting before this contest, so perhaps he does come back soon. His fantasy owners will want to bench him in all leagues. J.R. Smith will get plenty of shots and maybe he can make some. Man Shumpert and Jose Calderon should have bigger roles, as well.
Nov 28 - 6:01 PM

Marvin Williams (shoulder) will not play against the Warriors on Friday or Saturday against the Hawks.

He can't stay healthy this season, but the Hornets won't miss him much anyway. The team is hoping he'll be ready for Wednesday against the Bulls. Cody Zeller has really picked it up lately and is a solid option in daily leagues.
Nov 28 - 5:20 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (illness) will not play against the Spurs on Friday.

The illness bug claimed another body tonight and the Kings will be in deep trouble. They don't really have a guy capable of playing big minutes at center, so it'll likely be a group effort. Jason Thompson does get some minutes at center, so he's probably the biggest beneficiary for minutes and has a solidified role. Although, Derrick Williams is also a very interesting player to use in daily leagues tonight.
Nov 28 - 5:05 PM

Joakim Noah was dominant on both ends of the court against the Celtics on Friday, scoring 15 points with 14 boards, six assists and six blocks in 35 minutes.

He hit a clutch open jumper at the top of the key to give the Bulls a two-possession lead with 24 seconds left in the game. Noah played suffocating defense as well, and looked very healthy after missing Tuesday's game. His owners will have to keep an eye out on his knee injury and he could miss games in the future, but he should be good to go for Sunday against the Nets.
Nov 28 - 4:06 PM

Derrick Rose scored 21 points in 28 minutes against the Celtics during a win on Friday with four rebounds, four assists, one block and two 3-pointers.

Of course, he wasn't unscathed in this game. Rose took a charge and was gimpy for a a couple minutes while staying on the court. He also had a minor left hand injury and the training staff was looking at it briefly. He did finish the game and for once we expect him to play against the Nets on Sunday.
Nov 28 - 3:58 PM

Jared Sullinger made four 3-pointers against the Bulls on Friday with 23 points, 10 rebounds, one steal, one block and one turnover in 33 minutes.

He was 9-of-19 from the field and attempted nine shots from beyond the arc. Sullinger has 10 triples in his last three games and is boosted his shooting to 30.6 from deep with this hot stretch. Sullinger is putting up career numbers in basically every category except steals and is a must-start option.
