Vince Carter hit a fadeaway 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Spurs 109-108 in Game 3 on Saturday, finishing with 11 points, three boards, one assist and one turnover in 23 minutes.

The shot was more than just half-amazing. The Mavericks had 1.7 seconds left and it allowed Carter to get the ball in the corner, put on a pump fake, then hit a high-arching triple to beat the buzzer. The Mavs have a 2-1 lead and will look build off this win in Game 4 on Monday. This year's NBA Playoffs have been absolutely insane so far and we're only a week in. The video of the shot is attached in the link below.

Zach Lowe of ESPN said that the Jazz have explored the market for Derrick Favors over the last few weeks.

Favors hasn't been the same since he suffered a knee injury during the preseason, but it sounds like the Jazz are just doing their due diligence. The Jazz are hoping to re-sign both George Hill and Gordon Hayward, so they are going to be financially strapped when Favors hits free agency during the summer of 2018. The Jazz don't want to weaken their team ahead of the playoffs, so if they do move Favors they probably wouldn't do it until the offseason. There's no reason to stash Trey Lyles outside of very deep leagues unless we get wind of something.

According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the Wizards have "explored trading a protected first-round pick" for Lou Williams.

This confirms a report by The Vertical on Sunday, so there's definitely something here. The Lakers are going to be sellers at the deadline and are looking for draft picks, while the Wizards are looking to upgrade their second unit for a playoff push. Williams is on the books for $7 million this season and $7 million in 2017-18, and with averages of 18.6 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.1 triples in just 24.2 minutes per game this season, it's easy to see why contenders will have their eyes on him at the deadline. If Williams finds a new home, that will benefit D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson.

Zach Lowe of ESPN is reporting that P.J. Tucker is the "most likely" to be traded by the Suns at the deadline.

Phoenix is taking calls on "most" of their veterans and that surely includes Tyson Chandler and Brandon Knight, but Tucker will likely draw the most interest because of his cheap expiring contract. Previous reports have indicated that the Suns are holding out for a first-round pick, but that seems a bit ambitious. The Raptors, Clippers and Celtics have all been linked to Tucker in recent days, but a trade would shatter his fantasy value and open the door for T.J. Warren to have a consistent role with minutes in the 30s.

Jimmy Butler feels that he'll remain in Chicago past the trade deadline, unless "something crazy happens."

While the Bulls have taken numerous calls on Butler as the deadline approaches, they reportedly haven't been the ones making the calls, so while they will entertain offers it doesn't sound like they're actively shopping the up-and-coming All-Star. The Celtics do have the assets to offer "something crazy," but word out of Boston is that they aren't interested in parting ways with Brooklyn's 2017 draft pick just yet, so a blockbuster deal between Boston and Chicago seems unlikely.

The trade sending DeMarcus Cousins and Omri Casspi to the Pelicans in exchange for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and some draft picks was finalized on Monday.

"It was time for a change and I decided this was the best direction for the organization, said Vlade Divac. "Winning begins with culture and character matters." Divac went on to half-heartedly thank Cousins for his time in Sacramento and tried to justify the trade by hyping up the draft picks, but the line about"culture" and "character matters" is a pretty obvious shot at Boogie. Both Cousins and Anthony Davis will be sacrificing some touches as they learn to play together, but both of them should still be able to fill up the stat sheet. For what it's worth, Divac also said he had a better offer a couple days ago, so there's that.

According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, the Rockets are another team to keep an eye on in pursuit of Wilson Chandler.

In case you missed it, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported on Sunday that the Clippers and Thunder are going to make a push for Chandler at the deadline. There were some rumors going around in early February that Chandler was unhappy with his role in Denver, so he could be available for the right price. A move to Houston wouldn't be ideal for Chandler's fantasy value because they are set at SF and PF with Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson, but it would give them a solid second unit that already includes Eric Gordon and Sam Dekker. This report is firmly in the rumor stage.
Feb 20 - 11:56 AM

According to Chris Mannix of The Vertical, Darren Collison, Ben McLemore and Arron Afflalo are all "available" with the deadline looming.

The Kings moved on from DeMarcus Cousins on Sunday which signaled the beginning of a very long rebuild. Collison is set to become a free agent this summer and the Kings probably aren't confident about their ability to re-sign him, so moving him now for a draft pick makes sense before he walks for nothing. His owners will be hoping that he lands in a favorable spot, but a move would likely hurt his fantasy value. Ty Lawson is the big winner here if the Kings find a new home for Collison, unless of course the Kings bring in a young PG.
Feb 20 - 9:40 AM

Russell Westbrook scored 41 points during Sunday's All-Star game, making 16-of-26 shots with seven 3-pointers, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes of action.

Westbrook has no 'off' switch. He threw down an alley-oop from Kevin Durant in the first quarter, which caused the Western Conference bench to serenade both players during a timeout, and the former teammates were the early focal point of tonight's game. His huge line came in just 20 minutes off the bench tonight, and he would have been the MVP for a third straight year if Anthony Davis hadn't blown up for a record-breaking 52 points.
Feb 19 - 11:19 PM

The Pelicans have reportedly made Buddy Hield available in trade talks.

Justin Verrier of ESPN reports that anyone on the team not named Anthony Davis could be had for the right price as the Pelicans look to pair their franchise big man with another All-Star, so it'll be interesting to see if they can make a major move on deadline day. The Kings were linked to the Pelicans concerning a potential DeMarcus Cousins trade, although it seems unlikely that New Orleans will be able to land a guy like DMC with just Hield and some first-round picks.
Feb 19 - 6:30 PM

The Celtics have reportedly expressed "deep interest" in P.J. Tucker.

Tucker would add some solid depth to the Celtics, but his playing time would take a substantial hit in Boston, so Tucker owners should be hoping that he remains in Phoenix past the deadline. There have been more than a few trade rumors regarding Tucker, though, so him remaining with the Suns is far from a certainty.
Feb 19 - 3:06 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Wizards have some interest in Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Wizards are looking to upgrade their bench at the deadline and have also been linked to Lou Williams. The Nets are looking for draft picks to speed up their rebuild, and the Wizards "have shown an inclination" to give up a future first-round pick for the right deal. Bogdanovic would surely lose value on a team like the Wizards, but his absence could open the door for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert to have a larger role in Brooklyn's offense.
