LeBron James scored 31 points on 10-of-19 shooting with seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a block as the Heat completed an opening round sweep of the Bobcats on Monday.

This series was probably over before it started, but with Al Jefferson finally breaking down there was little chance the Heat would lose a game. Dwyane Wade scored 15 points, Mario Chalmers added 10 points and five assists, and Chris Bosh scored 16 points with eight rebounds in the win. The Heat will have plenty of time to get ready for the winner of the Raptors and Nets series.

Nerlens Noel (ankle) limped to the locker room during the third quarter of Saturday's game vs. the Nets, but he is available to return after getting re-taped.

He fell awkwardly on his right ankle and was in obvious pain, but he only stayed in the locker room for a few moments and is back on the bench. It sounds like he is good to go, but we will have an update after the game to let you know how he holds up.
Feb 6 - 9:10 PM

Roy Hibbert left Saturday's game vs. the Spurs with a left ankle sprain and he will not return.

He was supposed to just get his ankle re-taped, so the injury must be a little more serious than originally thought. Hibbert hasn't been playing well lately, so he shouldn't have been owned in most leagues. Brandon Bass and Tarik Black will see an uptick in minutes if Hibbert misses more time.
Feb 6 - 9:06 PM

Damian Lillard scored 21 points with four rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and three 3-pointers during a 96-79 win in Houston on Saturday.

Rockets fans will probably never doubt Lillard, but this wasn't even his best game as a scorer. His assists have been the story lately and Lillard has put up three consecutive double-doubles for the first time in his NBA career. Yes, he should have made the All-Star Team.
Feb 6 - 8:28 PM

Tony Snell will start in place of Jimmy Butler (knee) on Saturday vs. the Wolves.

Butler could miss a few games because of his knee, but Mike Dunleavy (back) will be making his debut tonight which dampens the appeal for Snell. For now, leave Snell on the wire outside of the deepest of leagues.
Feb 6 - 7:57 PM

Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) will start on Saturday vs. the Grizzlies.

The Mavericks will go with their normal starting five on the second night of their back-to-back set, meaning Deron Williams, Wesley Matthews, Chandler Parsons and Zaza Pachulia are also safe to deploy. We will let you know how Dirk's ankle holds up after the game.
Feb 6 - 7:52 PM

Mason Plumlee was bleeding above his right eye late in the fourth quarter on Saturday against the Rockets and did not return.

He caught an elbow from Montrezl Harrell and went to the locker room to be stitched up. Plumlee didn't look like he was hit hard enough to have a concussion or anything, so expect him to be ready for Monday. Plumlee finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 24 minutes.
Feb 6 - 7:37 PM

James Harden suffered an apparent minor right hand injury on Saturday, finishing with 33 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block, four 3-pointers and 10 turnovers.

He had ice on his hand for most of the fourth quarter because the Rockets were blown out tonight. Harden did play through his hand issue for a few minutes before going to the bench, so chances are this is minor. He also took the ice pack off his hand for the final two minutes. For now, there shouldn't be much concern, but you never know when it comes to a hand injury. We'll pass along any info if he needs an X-ray.
Feb 6 - 7:36 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) will play on Saturday vs. the Wolves.

He was in good spirits during the warmups so it sounds like his hand is good to go. His return to the lineup will send Cameron Bairstow to the bench, while Bobby Portis will also lose several minutes with this report. Gasol should be activated in all lineups.
Feb 6 - 7:32 PM

Mike Dunleavy (back) will make his season debut against the Wolves on Saturday.

He said "I'm back" at his locker, so Mike apparently wants to be like Mike. His minutes should be limited with so much time away from NBA game action, so he's not someone worth owning in most leagues just yet. His return takes away from E'Twaun Moore and Tony Snell.
Feb 6 - 7:06 PM

Kevin Martin (wrist), Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (foot, ankle) will not play on Saturday against the Bulls.

These guys are not close to a return. Martin may have played his last minutes with the Wolves as the trade deadline approaches. Zach LaVine will get close to 30 minutes tonight and is worth owning in standard leagues.
Feb 6 - 6:36 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) and Mike Dunleavy (back) are game-time calls vs. the Wolves on Saturday.

They will both warm up before a final decision will be made on their status. If Gasol is held out for the second straight game, Bobby Portis will be the primary beneficiary even though Cameron Bairstow will likely start.
