Stephen Curry made 9-of-24 from the field for 24 points during Game 6's 100-99 win over the Clippers on Thursday, adding four boards, nine assists and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

He only turned the ball over two times tonight, which has been a problem for Curry in these playoffs. The Warriors don't win ugly very often and were able to pull out a victory despite shooting just 39.3 percent from the field, including 7-of-24 from downtown. They will travel to Los Angeles and will be the NBA's third Game 7 of Saturday. We hope you get your weekend errands done early.

Joakim Noah (ankle) is not expected to play on Thursday vs. the Wizards.

He's going to have an MRI on Thursday morning but it's a safe bet that he will miss his second straight game -- Noah was in so much pain on Wednesday that he didn't even try to warm up after his ankle swelled up on the plane. Kyle O'Quinn started in Noah's place on Wednesday, but flopped in a big way with just two points in 10 minutes. Willy Hernangomez scored 17 points off the bench with 11 rebounds in 20 minutes and Marshall Plumlee also had a nice game with five points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 20 minutes, but this is a situation for fantasy owners to avoid until someone separates themselves from the pack.

Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) said he's "90 percent ready" and he is hopeful to play on Saturday vs. the Suns.

He hasn't been officially ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Wizards, but it sure sounds like he's not planning to play. Porzingis is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday morning, so his plans for Saturday could change too based on the results. "Still not there yet," Porzingis said. "I have to be really careful of how much I do and how explosive the movements are. If not I get a little pinch again in the heel down there where the Achilles starts." We should have an update this afternoon, but Mindaugas Kusminskas looks like a nice short-term pickup and he's coming off a 17-point effort on Wednesday.

DeMarcus Cousins posted his first triple-double of the season during a brutal 106-100 loss to the Pacers on Wednesday, scoring 25 points with 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, three blocks, nine turnovers and one 3-pointer.

This was a really, really bad loss for the Kings. They blew a 22-point lead in this game to put them on a three-game losing streak. Worse yet, Rudy Gay (Achilles) is expected to miss the rest of the season. In his minutes not next to Gay, Cousins has a whopping 39.9 usage rate and actually has better efficiency, too. The bad news is there is an 11.6 net rating differential with Boogie-Rudy lineups and lineups with Boogie and no Rudy. Cousins will have some massive stat lines, but he's more likely to be rested at times this year.

Kevin Durant was phenomenal against his former team on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 40 points (13-of-16 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs) with 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and five 3-pointers.

"It's never going to be a regular game for me," Durant said prior to the game. "I'm sure it will [be emotional]. It's people I've been with for so long and to see them again, yeah, they'll be some emotions. But I've still got a job to do." He did his job at an MVP level tonight, playing with a little extra juice against Russell Westbrook and co., and he continues to hold off all challengers for No. 1 fantasy value in 9-cat leagues.

Russell Westbrook picked up his 21st triple-double of the season on Wednesday with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists, but he also had 10 turnovers in a lopsided loss to the Warriors.

Westbrook had his triple-double halfway through the third quarter, marking the 22nd time in his career that he's done it in three quarters or less. He made 8-of-23 FGs and 10-of-11 FTs tonight, with two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer, and continues to be a ridiculous fantasy asset on a nightly basis, especially in DFS and points leagues. Tonight's loss drops the Thunder into a virtual tie with Memphis for the No. 7 seed in the West, but they're still six games up on the No. 8 seed Nuggets.
Jan 19 - 1:26 AM

Garrett Temple played 29 minutes off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine points, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

He should be getting a big bump in usage and playing time with Rudy Gay (Achilles). In the previous stretch Gay missed 10 of 11 games, Temple averaged 10.2 points, 3.4 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 treys on 42.4 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the line. That was good for eighth-round value, so he is worth a look in standard leagues.
Jan 19 - 1:15 AM

Preliminary tests indicated Rudy Gay has suffered a torn left Achilles.

He'll have an MRI on Thursday to confirm the injury, which is likely to end his season. Gay had micro tearing in his left Achilles dating back to 2014 and received shockwave treatment before. He's heading into a contract year and the timing is just terrible for the 30-year-old forward. The Kings will have to count on Garrett Temple, Matt Barnes and Anthony Tolliver. Temple is worth a pickup in standard leagues.

James Harden put on an offensive clinic during a 111-92 win over the Bucks on Wednesday, scoring 38 points with six rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

If you didn't see this game, you missed a great one with Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo going off. Antetokounmpo gave Harden some props after the game. "I think I can say right now he is the best player in the league," Giannis said. Harden has been surging over his last seven, averaging 34.3 points, 9.0 boards, 10.1 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 3.9 treys on 63.2 true shooting percentage. This game also moved him past Anthony Davis for No. 2 on the points per game leader board this season.
Jan 19 - 12:17 AM

Reggie Jackson drained 10-of-20 shots en route to 26 points on Wednesday, adding five boards, four assists and two 3-pointers in an easy 118-95 win vs. Atlanta.

Detroit scored 42 points in the first quarter tonight, their highest-scoring quarter of the entire season, and Jackson was the early engine of the offense. He's really found a groove in January, averaging 19.5 points, 1.8 triples, 5.4 assists and 0.9 steals, which is more in line with his numbers from last season. His owners' patience is finally paying off.
Jan 19 - 12:09 AM

Anthony Davis (hip, thumb) played 29 minutes on Wednesday, finishing with 21 points (9-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 14 rebounds, four assists and one block.

AD survived yet another injury scare tonight when he left to get X-rays on his left hand, but he quickly returned while wearing a splint on two fingers. He seems to be perpetually banged up, yet he's only missed three games this season. The risk of a shutdown is limited by the fact that New Orleans is just 1.5 games out of the playoff picture, and thus far Davis has paid off richly for his risk-taking owners. As a precaution, we'll add him to the injury report ahead of Friday's home game vs. Brooklyn.
Jan 19 - 12:00 AM

Isaiah Thomas lit up the Knicks for a game-high 39 points in a losing effort on Wednesday, making 12-of-25 FGs and 10-of-10 FTs with five 3-pointers, three boards and two assists.

Thomas came in averaging 10.1 points in the fourth quarter this season, the highest mark since NBA.com began tracking the stat in 1997-98. Another stat worth remembering, especially for DFS purposes, is that Thomas came in averaging 36.5 points in games that Avery Bradley missed this season. Brad Stevens hinted that Bradley could miss more time with his sore Achilles, so Thomas' outlook this week is even better than usual.
