Clippers owner Donald Sterling is battling prostate cancer, according to multiple reports.

He was banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million by commissioner Adam Silver on Tuesday due to racist remarks, and the league's advisory committee unanimously voted to terminate Sterling's ownership "as expeditiously as possible" on Thursday. Sterling has been believed to be battling cancer for an extended period of time and there should be more to this story in the coming days. "If that is true, my thoughts and prayers are with him," Blake Griffin said Thursday. "Nobody deserves to go through something like that."

Stephen Curry stepped up during a riveting 108-101 victory over the Thunder on Saturday, scoring 31 points with 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and six 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

He wasn't having his best game while Klay Thompson carried the Dubs' offense. Curry played some very good defense late in the game, which was a popular topic after Russell Westbrook chuckled about it after Game 5. Curry scored six points in the fourth, including a game-tying trey with 2:47 left. After the game, Curry said he kind of likes playing through the aches and pains because it helps him understand the moment of these playoffs. He still hasn't had a complete explosion in this series, so maybe that happens in Game 7 on Monday. Get ready.

Andre Iguodala started the third quarter during Saturday's win over the Thunder, scoring eight points with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and one turnover in 38 minutes.

It was a long overdue move to put Iguodala out there with the starters. He had some huge defensive stops and forced turnovers late in the game, playing defense on Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The Warriors went back to their vaunted lineup of Iguodala, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes for 11 minutes, posting an awesome plus-54.7 net rating in that time. Iguodala is a good bet to start Game 7 after really locking down KD.

Kevin Durant made 10-of-31 from the field for 29 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 45 minutes in a Game 6 loss to the Warriors on Saturday.

He was trying to do a little too much and had a really bad fourth quarter. In his 11 fourth-quarter minutes, Durant made 1-of-7 from the field and turned the ball over twice. He joins LeBron James as the only player this decade with back-to-back games with at least 30 field goal attempts in a playoff game. On the other side of the ball, Durant's defense was great once again and has been one of the most unheralded stories in these playoffs. He'll need to be more careful with the ball on Monday.
May 29 - 12:15 AM

Klay Thompson was unbelievable during a 108-101 win over the Thunder in Game 6 on Saturday, scoring a playoff career-high 41 points with four rebounds, one steal, one block and 11 3-pointers.

What. A. Game. The Warriors were down seven points with five minutes left and pulled off a thrilling comeback. Thompson set an NBA playoff record with his 11 treys and scored the most points for a Warrior in these playoffs, making 14-of-30 from the field with 18 attempts from deep. The triples were the story with the Warriors, outscoring the Thunder 63-9 from the 3-point line. You'll want to clear your schedule for Game 7 on Monday.

Andre Iguodala started the third quarter for Harrison Barnes in Game 6 on Saturday.

Finally.

Bryce Dejean-Jones has died.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen late Friday and bled to death. Dejean-Jones was 23 and got his big break into the league last year as one of the most exciting esoteric players in the league. Our thoughts are with his family.

Raptors coach Dwane Casey said that Jonas Valanciunas is a year or two away from stretching out his game to the 3-point line.

The big man just turned 24 years old in May, and while he's yet to hit a 3-pointer in his four-year career, Casey sounded pretty confident that he could add that to his game. That would be huge for his fantasy value, but it's probably too early to expect him to have the green light from deep next season. As always, there should be plenty of updates on his progress over the summer.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks will try to acquire a pick in the upcoming draft.

Begley says the best-case scenario would be for the Knicks to purchase a late first-round pick, but he added that a second-round pick is more likely. The Knicks have shown interest in quite a few prospects recently including Kansas guard Wayne Selden, Indiana guard Yogi Ferrell and St. Bonaventure guard Marcus Posley. They are also expected to attend the workouts of Seton Hall's Isaiah Whitehead and Syracuse's Malachi Richardson and they have already attended Cheick Diallo's workout.

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Bismack Biyombo will decline his $2.9 million player option for the 2016-17 season.

This will make him an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Biyombo's stock has grown significantly during the postseason and Stein is hearing that he will make at least $15 million per year. The Raptors will likely offer DeMar DeRozan a max deal this summer, so this would mean that they won't be able to retain Biyombo and it's also worth noting that they already have Jonas Valanciunas under contract for several more years. If Biyombo lands a starting job this summer, his fantasy value would get a significant boost.
May 28 - 9:31 AM

Kyrie Irving was terrific during a 113-87 series-clinching win over the Raptors on Friday, scoring 30 points with four rebounds, nine assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Irving really buckled down on offense and put on a display of his full arsenal. On the downside, he has struggled on the defensive end, so that doesn't bode well against either Stephen Curry or Russell Westbrook. Additionally, LeBron James said after the game that Kyrie was banged up for all four rounds of the playoffs last year and added Irving is healthier this time around. Last year, Irving went down after 44 minutes due to a fractured knee in Game 1 of The Finals, so things should be different. Expect him to play heavy minutes in an up-tempo style.
May 27 - 11:40 PM

Kevin Love scored 20 points in a Game 6 win over the Raptors on Friday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

The Cavs big three of Love, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James all cleared the 20-point mark for the sixth time these playoffs after only doing so twice during the regular season. Love gets tons of open looks in this offense, so he has a lot of pressure on him to knock them down against a better team in The Finals. The good news is he looks healthy, but expect the Warriors or Thunder to target him in pick-and-roll plays.
