The Brooklyn Nets announced on Thursday that point guard Deron Williams will have surgery on both ankles on May 27.

He mentioned in his exit interview that he anticipated having offseason ankle surgery, and now a date has been set. Williams will reportedly have a bone chip removed from his right ankle while his left will be scoped for removal of bone spurs. He is coming off a very disappointing postseason, averaging only 14.5 points and 5.8 assists in 12 games played. Rumors of the Nets seeking a trade partner willing to take the oft-injured point guard off their hands have already begun to surface, but with $63 million remaining on his contract, moving Williams will be very difficult.

JaMychal Green will start in place of Marc Gasol (fractured foot) for Wednesday's game vs. the Nets.

Green owns meager averages of 6.5 points and 5.0 rebounds on 41.7 percent shooting in his previous two starts, so it's tough to get too excited about his inclusion in the starting lineup tonight. Matt Barnes and Jeff Green are set to see a substantial bump in value with Marc likely done for the year, and they make for much more attractive targets than JaMychal..
Feb 10 - 7:19 PM

Ben McLemore (sprained right wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the 76ers.

McLemore was never close to playing tonight, and it'll be Marco Belinelli benefitting most in his absence. Ben should be able to get back onto the court after the All-Star break, but he's irrelevant in most leagues.
Feb 10 - 7:02 PM

Nerlens Noel (right knee) will miss Wednesday's game vs. the Kings and Jerami Grant will start in his place.

With Noel on the sidelines Wednesday night, Jahlil Okafor and Ish Smith will see some increased opportunity on offense, and Jerami Grant will look to build off his 17-point, 11-rebound outing from Monday. Grant is going to draw a favorable matchup tonight, so he's someone to consider in DFS. This is the same knee that has given Noel problems throughout the season, although tonight's absence seems more precautionary than anything else, as this is Philly's last game before the break.
Feb 10 - 6:47 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (groin) said he "for sure" will be back and playing right after the break.

That means he is going to play on Feb. 19 against the Wizards. If he is indeed going to be back, that makes Stanley Johnson slightly less appealing even though he may have earned more run. If Caldwell-Pope is sitting around on the wire, go pick him up.
Feb 10 - 6:43 PM

Kobe Bryant (shoulder) will start against the Cavs on Wednesday.

It'll be with the usual starters against LeBron and company. Bryant has seen a lot of volume and he should see a similar workload on the national stage. He's obviously a risky start tonight.
Feb 10 - 6:39 PM

Roy Hibbert (ankle) will start on Wednesday against the Cavs.

He was probable to play and should be ready to go. Hibbert has not played well at all and he will probably only be around 20 minutes tonight. There should be fewer minutes for Robert Sacre, Brandon Bass and Tarik Black.
Feb 10 - 6:35 PM

Zach LaVine will start Wednesday vs. the Raptors with Tayshaun Prince (personal) away from the team.

Andrew Wiggins will slide over to the three with LaVine back in the starting five, and Shabazz Muhammad will have the opportunity for some extended run off the bench sans Prince. LaVine does have a tough matchup tonight, so owners should take that into consideration before activating him.
Feb 10 - 6:20 PM

Anthony Tolliver will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game vs. the Nuggets with Ersan Illyasova (illness) unavailable.

Tolliver could be getting some heavy minutes tonight with Detroit so banged up, and with a favorable matchup against Denver, he's someone to consider as a punt play in DFS.
Feb 10 - 6:00 PM

Tony Parker (left ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Magic.

Parker suffered a minor ankle tweak during the first half of Tuesday's game, and while he played through it, there's no reason for him to risk anything with a matchup against the Magic and the All-Star break right around the corner. Patty Mills and Ray McCallum will pick up some extra minutes in Parker's absence, with McCallum offering the most upside.
Feb 10 - 5:56 PM

Ersan Ilyasova (illness) is out for Wednesday against the Nuggets.

He will only need to miss this game and will be ready to start the second half. With Ilyasova and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (groin) out, that should leave the Pistons shorthanded. Anthony Tolliver and Stanley Johnson should be busy while there could be some new lineup combos tonight with more Darrun Hilliard.
Feb 10 - 5:56 PM

Jason Smith (back spasms) will miss Wednesday's game vs. the Spurs.

With Smith and Tobias Harris (ankle) out Wednesday, Aaron Gordon is going to get all the run he can handle with guys like Channing Frye and Andrew Nicholson seeing some extended time off the bench. Frye and Nicholson can't be considered viable targets in almost any setting.
