Tim Duncan was almost unstoppable vs. the Heat in Game 1's 110-95 win, making 9-of-10 from the field for 21 points with 10 rebounds, three assists and five turnovers.

It was all about position for Duncan with nine of his 10 shots coming from within four feet of the hoop. The Heat didn't have an answer for him at all as his efficiency shows, which wasn't a strength in the last two rounds. Duncan didn't shoot above 49 percent in either of the last two rounds, but the lack of size on Miami spelled trouble. The Spurs will look to take a 2-0 lead on Sunday.

Cristiano Felicio (back) will not play against the Pistons on Wednesday and Joffrey Lauvergne will get the start.

The Bulls are running out of centers for today with Robin Lopez also suspended. Felicio would've been in a great spot, but now the Bulls will likely mix in some Bobby Portis at the five. That should also open up some minutes for Nikola Mirotic.
Mar 22 - 6:25 PM

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (right ankle strain) will play against the Magic on Wednesday.

He was listed as probable and did have an MRI, but everything came back clean. MKG's minutes are slightly down this month, which was somewhat surprising with Frank Kaminsky missing time in March. Kidd-Gilchrist has been racking up the defensive stats to make him a solid player to use in all fantasy leagues.
Mar 22 - 5:42 PM

Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said he is "hopeful" that Jeremy Lin (ankle) will be able to play Thursday vs. the Suns.

Atkinson said the decision on Lin would be made on Thursday. Even if Lin is able to suit up, he will likely be placed on a strict minutes limit. Nonetheless, Lin's return will greatly reduce the fantasy value of Spencer Dinwiddie and Archie Goodwin.
Mar 22 - 1:50 PM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) said that he "has the intent to play" in Thursday's game vs. the Raptors.

It was widely assumed Whiteside would miss multiple games after receiving 13 stitches on his right hand Tuesday night. He left the arena with his hand heavily bandaged. However, Whiteside was working out in the weight room at the Heat's practice facility on Wednesday and told reports that he plans to play. We still haven't heard from a team official or coach Erik Spoelstra on the matter, so you'll obviously want to check back for updates.
Mar 22 - 1:22 PM

Wilson Chandler (groin) was able to participate in shootaround on Wednesday and is expected to play Wednesday night vs. the Cavs.

Chandler had missed four straight games. If Chandler does play, he will eat into the minutes of Juan Hernangomez, Kenneth Faried, Mason Plumlee and Will Barton. Darrell Arthur (knee) is also expected to return on Wednesday.
Mar 22 - 1:21 PM

Coach Mike Malone said that Danilo Gallinari (knee) will not play Wednesday vs. Cleveland.

This will be the fourth straight game Gallo has missed. Fortunately for the Nuggets, both Wilson Chandler (groin) and Darrell Arthur (knee) are expected to return on Wednesday night. It is unknown if Juancho Hernangomez will draw another start in place of Gallinari.
Mar 22 - 1:18 PM

Coach Frank Vogel said that Jeff Green (back spasms) has been ruled out of Wednesday night's game vs. the Hornets.

This will be just the third game Green has missed all season. However, he has apparently played through back spasms intermittently. Green had been averaging 17.5 minutes per game off the Magic's bench in March. Mario Hezonja will likely soak up the majority of the extra minutes available on Wednesday.
Mar 22 - 11:14 AM

Hassan Whiteside received 13 stitches between the middle and ring finger on his right hand Tuesday night and his status for Miami's game on Thursday is uncertain.

"It’s in an awkward place in his hand," coach Erik Spoelstra said after the game. "We’ll know more tomorrow. Hopefully he’s going to be OK." Whiteside missed three games late in 2015 after needing 10 stitches in a very similar injury to his hand. "I know people are thinking ‘Is it the same as two years ago? Is it worse?’ We’ll see," said Spoelstra. Willie Reed will likely draw the start at center on Thursday if Whiteside can't play. James Johnson would also see an uptick in minutes.
Mar 22 - 9:20 AM

Ivica Zubac scored 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting vs. the Clippers on Tuesday.

The game was over by the third quarter, but the Lakers let Zubac play all the garbage time minutes and he finished with seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 36 minutes. He continues to trend up and he's only going to get better in the final few weeks, but the bad news for his owners is the Lakers only have two more games this week.
Mar 22 - 1:58 AM

Brandon Ingram scored 21 points in 40 minutes in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Clippers.

This was his second game of the season with 20+ points and he finished one point shy of his career high. He added five rebounds, three assists, two steals and two triples, and it looks like he's going to make some noise in the final few weeks of the season. Over the last five games, he's averaging 16.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 triples on 53.0 percent shooting. However, he's still struggling from the free throw line, hitting just 3-of-8 FTAs in this one.
Mar 22 - 1:51 AM

Khris Middleton racked up 26 points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals, a block and three 3-pointers on 11-of-22 shooting in 33 minutes of Tuesday's big 93-90 win over the Blazers.

Wow. He was worth the wait if you stashed him long before he came back and there was some risk involved, as no one was really sure how he'd look or fit in with the new-look Bucks. He's been fantastic, averaging 18.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting over his last five games. With the Bucks fighting for their playoff life and seeding, Middleton should continue to roll the rest of the way. He's also played in all 12 of the Bucks' March games, scoring in double figures in all of them.
