Larry Sanders (illness) will not play against the Hawks on Saturday.

He keeps missing games for strange reasons and this will be his second consecutive DNP due to an illness. The Bucks will have to lean on Zaza Pachulia and John Henson to handle their minutes at center while Johnny O'Bryant should get another start at power forward. Sanders isn't a must-own player.
Dec 27 - 6:49 PM

Rodney Stuckey (eye) is having some problems with the light on Saturday and is warming up to face the Nets.

Technically, he is probable, but we would consider him questionable to play. Stuckey was in a lot of pain on Friday and needed assistance, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him sit. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 6:47 PM

C.J. Miles (illness) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.

He was questionable and Miles just has missed far too many games this season. While he is out, the Pacers figure to get Chris Copeland back in the rotation to help out Solomon Hill. Miles is a tough player to own in standard leagues.
Dec 27 - 6:40 PM

Kevin Garnett will play in Saturday's game vs. the Pacers.

This is actually quite surprising since KG usually sits out the second game of back-to-back sets, but it is still good to see him out on the court. However, he is no longer a viable asset in standard leagues and is only seeing around 23 minutes per game, so owners may want to look elsewhere for value.
Dec 27 - 6:28 PM

Kyle Lowry turned in a gem against the Clippers during a 110-98 victory on Saturday with 25 points, three rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three 3-pointers.

He was hot in the third quarter with 11 points and did a tremendous job on Chris Paul today. Lowry is doing it all for the Raptors and fantasy owners over his last five, averaging 23.2 points, 4.2 boards, 7.6 assists, 2.2 steals and 2.4 triples on 51.3 percent from the field. He's in the hunt for MVP with the Raptors holding the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Dec 27 - 6:25 PM

Jarrett Jack is starting over Deron Williams again on Saturday.

There is still no indication that this will be a permanent move, but it is definitely something to watch closely. Jack scored a season-high 27 points on Friday, so he is worth a look in all leagues while he is this hot, especially with all of the trade rumors surrounding D-Will. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 6:21 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) will not play vs. the Heat on Saturday.

This will be his fourth straight game out of the lineup, but we don't blame the Grizzlies for exercising caution. The good news is that Randolph's MRI came back clean, and he is said to be dealing with some swelling and minor pain. The bad news is that coach Dave Joerger said Z-Bo never had a chance to play Saturday and there is still no timetable for his return. His owners will have to remain patient for now, and Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos will continue to pick up some extra minutes until he returns, but neither is an attractive plug-and-play option.
Dec 27 - 6:06 PM

Al Jefferson (groin) will play on Sunday vs. the Magic.

He has been struggling with a slight groin strain, and that is likely why he only scored four points on Friday. Big Al will have his hands full going up against Nikola Vucevic, but he is still a must-start player despite not being at 100 percent. We will let you know how he holds up after the game.
Dec 27 - 6:02 PM

Lance Stephenson (hip) will not play Saturday or Monday.

The way things have been going, Stephenson is unlikely to play on Wednesday. He's been out for five games and the Hornets have actually turned it around, going 4-1 in that span. Gerald Henderson played 27.0 minutes per game in that five-game span while Gary Neal, P.J. Hairston and Marvin Williams are also helping out a bit. Stephenson isn't a must-own player in shallow leagues.
Dec 27 - 5:27 PM

Martell Webster (back) won't play on Saturday, but he could make his season debut on this upcoming road trip.

Following today, the Wizards are on the road until Jan. 7 when they'll play the Knicks at home. Webster is taking some contact at practice, but there's no rush to bring him back with Rasual Butler playing well. Webster is only a stash in deep leagues.
Dec 27 - 5:23 PM

Kobe Bryant (soreness) is listed as probable to play against the Suns on Sunday.

The Lakers did list him as probable for Christmas against the Bulls and he missed that game, so this probable tag should be viewed as more of a questionable one. Bryant has complained about his Achilles and his entire body not being at 100 percent, so his owners will want to check back. Wayne Ellington is obviously much less appealing should Kobe make it back.
