Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has been "open to overtures from potential buyers" for the Brooklyn Nets, according to Yahoo! Sports.

"Just listening so far," a league official said. "They haven't indicated a desire or willingness to sell. …Nothing was initiated by [Prokhorov]." With the Clippers sale fetching $2 billion, the Russian billionaire could make a nice profit on his $223 million investment on the team back in 2010. He has put in a lot of his own money due to hitting a ridiculous team salary of $190 million due to the luxury tax.
Jun 14 - 5:03 PM

K.J. McDaniels scored a career-high 17 points against the Suns during an ugly 122-96 loss on Friday to go with three rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer on 5-of-12 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line in 28 minutes.

His mom has yet to tweet about it as of the time this blurb was written. McDaniels has done quite a bit in the stat sheet with his 1.4 blocks and 1.1 triples in just 22.0 minutes on the season and he's likely going to get out there for more playing time. He's still more of a stash player right now.
Nov 21 - 9:40 PM

Nicolas Batum (knee) will start against the Bulls on Friday.

He's been out for almost two weeks due to his knee contusion and is expected to have his minutes limited tonight. Batum is a big part of the offense and he's still worth starting even with the restriction on his minutes.
Nov 21 - 8:51 PM

Omer Asik (back) will not play against the Nuggets on Friday.

He aggravated his back injury in warmups and chances are he is going to miss more time. Asik isn't a must-own player anymore considering he doesn't have a high upside. Alexis Ajinca will start again, but doesn't have much fantasy value.
Nov 21 - 8:39 PM

Tony Allen (illness) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Celtics.

With Allen out, Courtney Lee is going to get all the minutes he can handle. Vince Carter could also see some extended minutes off the bench, but Lee offers the most upside. Allen went through parts of shootaround today, so he shouldn't be out much longer, and we'll consider him questionable Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.
Nov 21 - 7:57 PM

Updating a previous item, Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is available to play against the Raptors.

Just when you thought the Bucks weren't going to do their usual misinformation dance, they go ahead and do it. Coach Jason Kidd is making us miss Larry Drew, which is no small feat. Antetokounmpo might not play, but maybe he plays 47 minutes. Who knows?
Nov 21 - 7:42 PM

Bradley Beal will again come off the bench on Friday.

It's really only a matter of time until Beal takes back his job with the starting unit, and the Wizards are simply easing him back into the rotation. Beal was able to put up 21 points over just 26 minutes of action during his last outing, to go with three 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists, two turnovers, and a steal, so he's going to get his whether he's starting or coming off the bench. He has a favorable matchup tonight vs. the Cavs, so owners can go ahead and roll him out there.
Nov 21 - 7:25 PM

Corey Brewer will get the start against the Spurs on Friday.

As expected, he'll join Mo Williams, Andrew Wiggins Shabazz Muhammad and Gorgui Dieng against the champs. Brewer should pick up around eight minutes and could be in the mid-30s tonight while minutes should be dispersed to Muhammad, Anthony Bennett, Chase Budinger and Robbie Hummel tonight. Brewer is worth owning in standard leagues.
Nov 21 - 6:49 PM

Jerryd Bayless will start on Friday night alongside Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, and Larry Sanders.

This will be Bayless' first night as a starter for the Bucks, but he hasn't been doing much lately, scoring four, nine, and two points in his last three outings. He'll have some increased opportunity tonight with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, but on such a busy night, owners in standard leagues can probably do better than Bayless.
Nov 21 - 6:43 PM

Russell Westbrook (hand) will go through some non-contact portions of Saturday's practice, and he'll be re-evaluated on Nov. 29.

Westbrook has been progressing well, without any setbacks, and going through non-contact portions of practice will be the next step. Westbrook's initial timetable has him returning Dec. 2 vs. the Pelicans at the earliest, but we'll have a more firm date after he is re-evaluated. Stay tuned.
Nov 21 - 6:40 PM

Kevin Durant (foot) will go through a non-contact practice on Saturday.

He is getting closer to a return and has gone through some shooting drill. Durant is still a couple weeks off his original prognosis, but it's great to see he hasn't fallen behind. If you drafted him in the first round, this is all you can ask for from the best player in fantasy hoops for each of the last five seasons.
Nov 21 - 6:34 PM

Andre Roberson will start on Friday, sending Jeremy Lamb to the bench.

Roberson is a defensive specialist for the Thunder, so he doesn't bring too much to the box score. He's averaging 6.0 points and 6.0 rebounds with the starting unit, and his minutes will be capped at 20 tonight, so he doesn't really belong on an active roster outside of extremely deep leagues.
