Chris Herring is reporting that the Knicks may be trying to move new acquisitions C Samuel Dalembert and G Shane Larkin in a separate deal.

That's all the information we have at this point, so take the information with a grain of salt. Notice that Jose Calderon, who was also acquired on Wednesday, is not included in the rumor, so he looks like the starting point guard for the Knicks on opening night, as of now.

Jeremy Lamb (left groin soreness) practiced on Sunday and said afterward that he feels "great."

"I couldn’t run," Lamb said, explaining why he missed two preseason games. "I would have played horribly and I would have hurt it even more." It sounds like he'll be ready for the season opener, but owners should double-check his status on Monday and Tuesday. He's an intriguing fantasy flier, at least until Nicolas Batum (elbow) returns in 6-8 weeks.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) is questionable to play in Wednesday's season opener.

MKG has been away from the Hornets for about a week due to an excused personal matter, and coach Steve Clifford said "it's not going to be easy" for him to return for Wednesday's game. If he isn't available, Charlotte will have to get creative -- Nicolas Batum (elbow) is already out, so guys like Jeremy Lamb and Dwayne Bacon could be very busy.
Oct 15 - 7:15 PM

LeBron James (ankle) went through about a quarter of Sunday's practice and remains uncertain for Cleveland's season opener against the Celtics on Tuesday.

James tweaked his ankle during a preseason game on October 9, and it does seem like him missing opening night is a very real possibility at this point. We should have more than a few updates on King James leading up to Tuesday's tip, but if he is forced to miss the first game of the season, that would open up some minutes for guys like Jae Crowder, J.R. Smith and Jeff Green, while Kevin Love and Dwyane Wade would be tasked with the heavy lifting on offense. Stay tuned.
Oct 15 - 5:14 PM

Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Jackson (knee, groin) will not have any restrictions on opening night.

Van Gundy said the only restrictions on Jackson will be his own conditioning, but he doesn't necessarily have a minutes cap. That said, he'll be battling Ish Smith and Langston Galloway for minutes this season, and coming off a down year, it's tough to justify looking Jackson's way until the last few rounds on draft day.
Oct 15 - 4:59 PM

Andre Iguodala (back) and Omri Casspi (ankle) are questionable to play in Tuesday's season opener against the Rockets.

If these guys are forced to sit out Tuesday's game, that would open up some more minutes for Nick Young, but their absence wouldn't have a profound impact in fantasy hoops. Neither Iguodala nor Casspi can be considered a viable draft day target in most settings.
Oct 15 - 4:50 PM

Brad Stevens hinted on Sunday that Jayson Tatum will open the year as Boston's starting power forward.

Stevens wouldn't officially reveal his opening night starters on Sunday, but he did say he'd likely go with a similar lineup to what he was using during the preseason, which would consist of Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Tatum and Al Horford. Additionally, Marcus Morris (knee) will be spending the first week of the season on the sidelines, leaving Tatum as the obvious choice to start at the four. Tatum is worth a dart throw towards the later rounds on draft day.
Oct 15 - 4:43 PM

Marcus Morris is experiencing right knee soreness, and he's expected to miss the first three games of the season for Boston.

Brad Stevens said that Morris' knee is "structurally sound," but his conditioning still isn't quite where it needs to be after his training camp got delayed due to some legal issues, and he'd rather wait for Morris to get to 100 percent before throwing him out there. With Morris set to begin the 2017-18 season on the sidelines, Jason Taytum figures to open the year as the Celtics' starting power forward. Morris will be re-evaluated in 10 days to two weeks.
Oct 15 - 4:21 PM

De'Aaron Fox (back) practiced in full on Sunday and he'll be good to go for Sacramento's regular-season opener against the Rockets on Wednesday.

George Hill (groin) is currently banged up, and it's not clear if he'll be good to go by Wednesday, so Fox might be getting all the minutes he can handle on opening night. He's someone to consider as a late-round target on draft day.
Oct 15 - 4:18 PM

George Hill (groin) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) were limited during Sunday's practice.

Hill has had a lot of trouble staying on the court throughout his career, so it's not great that he'll be coming into the 2017-18 season at less than 100 percent. Head coach David Joerger said he hopes to have both these guys available for the regular season opener against the Rockets on Wednesday, but if Hill isn't able to give it a go, De'Aaron Fox could get off to a quick start as Sacramento's starting point guard.
Oct 15 - 4:09 PM

Patrick Beverley (sore right knee) did not participate during Sunday's practice.

With the season opener right around the corner, the Clippers are going to play it safe with Beverley and his sore knee, but it's worth noting that Beverley said he anticipates going through Monday's practice. We should have a better idea regarding his status for the regular season opener based on his activity level at Monday's practice, but if he is forced to miss any time, Milo Teodosoci would emerge as the primary beneficiary.
Oct 15 - 4:03 PM

Danilo Gallinari (foot), Austin Rivers (glute) and Sam Dekker (oblique) were full participants during Sunday's practice.

Gallinari skipped the Clippers' final three preseason games with a minor foot issue, but him getting through a full practice on Sunday is a good sign regarding his availability for Thursday's regular-season opener against the Lakers. The rooster is a guy who is capable of producing top-30 value in 9-cat leagues, but his well-documented injury history makes it tough to gamble on him until the late middle-round on draft day.
