The Mavericks have signed Dirk Nowitzki on a three-year deal for about $30 million, according to ESPN.com.

There was never a doubt and it's all going to come down on money. Nowitzki is believed to be willing to help the Mavericks on cap space, so we'll pass along the financials on his deal as soon as they're available. He'll be set up for a featured role again and will look have a repeat performance of his fantastic 2013-14 season.

Damian Lillard scored 34 points with four rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers during a 127-125 Friday matinee win in Brooklyn.

It was almost reverse Lillard time with 30 points in the first three quarters and just four in the fourth in this win. In the last loss to the Nets on Nov. 10, Lillard stressed how the Blazers struggled against the smaller lineups, but this time they were ready to go and crushed the Nets when they went super small, including a 10-0 run in the second quarter. Lillard has also made 10 free throws in two of his last games and this gem gets him over the 25 points-per-game plateau on the year.
Nov 24 - 3:20 PM

Jusuf Nurkic had a monster game in Brooklyn on Friday, posting season-highs 29 points and 15 boards with three assists, one steal and four blocks.

The four blocks also match his season high in what was easily his best game of the year. In their last game against Brooklyn on Nov. 10, Nurkic didn't play much down the stretch and it cost the Blazers. This time, he came out on fire in the third quarter and protected the paint on defense. While this is great, it's not party time yet on Nurk and he has made just 13-of-26 from the line in his last four. That said, things are clearly looking up and we should see more Nurk Alerts in the near future.

Ben Simmons (left elbow) is out for Saturday's game against the Magic.

He expected some soreness in his left elbow and he will be re-evaluated on Sunday. Excluding Markelle Fultz (shoulder) earlier this year, the 76ers are usually very careful with their stars and ruling him out a day early is a little troubling. With him out, T.J. McConnell should be looking at some heavy minutes as basically the rest of the rotation also has to pick up the slack, especially Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
Nov 24 - 2:58 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 23 points with four rebounds, six assists, one block, one steal, four 3-pointers and no turnovers in 31 minutes during a 127-125 loss to the Blazers on Friday.

The zero turnovers is impressive and he almost hit a would-be, game-winning triple, but it was short after the Nets got off to a fast start today. Besides an eight-point dud on Wednesday, Dinwiddie has been cooking with gas over his last four with three 21-plus scoring games to go with some full stat lines, averaging 19.3 points, 3.0 boards, 8.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.5 treys on 46.3 percent from the field over those four. He should be a difference maker in all leagues for the next month and possibly beyond.
Nov 24 - 2:47 PM

John Wall (left knee) had an MRI on Friday and the results have not yet been revealed.

This left knee issue seems to have been bothering Wall for a good portion of this month and he will be questionable for Saturday. Hopefully, this is just a precaution, but obviously taking the time to get an MRI does show that Wall's knee is just not right at this time. Hopefully, we'll have an update later today. If you're in a deeper league, it's not a bad idea to add Tim Frazier until Wall gets the all clear.
Nov 24 - 2:31 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored 17 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes against the Blazers on Friday.

He's coming in fairly hot on offense with a 20-point game on Wednesday. The return of Trevor Booker didn't really affect RHJ too much and once again coach Kenny Atkinson used Hollis-Jefferson at the five today. Not having D'Angelo Russell (knee) around likely explains the slight uptick in scoring, but RHJ is headed for a career year as he flirts with top-50 value.
Nov 24 - 2:28 PM

Jarrett Allen played a career-high 24 minutes against the Blazers on Friday, scoring nine points with eight rebounds, one block and two steals.

He made an impact yet again and he played down the stretch in this tight game. Allen has been the best pure center on the roster and he's meshed nicely with the up-tempo style of coach Kenny Atkinson. While the Nets do sit guys out if they're 99 percent, Allen's upside is undeniable for blocks and he's seen his minutes increase in each of his last two games. If you're hunting for blocks, Allen is worth a look in standard leagues.
Nov 24 - 2:26 PM

Derrick Rose is away from the team and is evaluating his future in basketball, according to ESPN.com.

Rose's commitment has been questioned before, so this isn't really a total stunner like it would be for most former MVPs. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Rose is "tired of being hurt" and it's taking a toll on him mentally. For now, expect Rose to get some time off to figure out what he wants to do.
Nov 24 - 2:11 PM

Kevin Durant (left ankle) will not play against the Bulls on Friday.

It's the front end of a back-to-back set, so it makes sense to sit out KD against the Bulls instead of the Pelicans. This is the same ankle that kept him out on Sunday against the Nets, but he did return on Wednesday against OKC. With him and Draymond Green out, Jordan Bell should get his revenge while we see some Andre Iguodala, Pat McCaw, Nick Young and Omri Casspi. KD's injury doesn't sound bad, so hopefully he's ready on Saturday.
Nov 24 - 2:05 PM

Draymond Green (rest) is out for Friday night against the Bulls.

It's a front end of a back-to-back set, so the Warriors will hold out their best defensive player. With him out, this is a big-time revenge spot for Jordan Bell after the Bulls sold that draft pick that led to his selection. He'll be a great DFS target while Kevon Looney and Omri Casspi should also play a little more in the PF/C spots.
Nov 24 - 2:05 PM

Jared Dudley (knee) is available to play on Friday against the Pelicans.

He's been out of the lineup since he tweaked his knee under the basket back on Nov. 10. Marquese Chriss is in some kind of slump and it'll be interesting to see how the power forward minutes are split between the three. This could be bad news for Chriss.
