Drew Gooden has re-signed with the Wizards on a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum.

Gooden didn't have a team for much of the 2013-14 season but he played well after latching on with Washington in February. He'll play a bit role in a somewhat stacked frontcourt that already features Marcin Gortat, Nene, Kris Humphries and Kevin Seraphin.

Tyson Chandler scored a season-high 22 points against the Cavs during a 118-103 loss on Thursday, adding 16 rebounds, one assist and one block in 30 minutes.

He kept the Suns in this game and grabbed at least 15 boards for the sixth straight active game to tie the record for the longest streak in Suns history. After the game, coach Earl Watson called Chandler "big time" and said his consistency has been important for the Suns. Fantasy owners should just keep rolling him out there and he remains a huge bargain in DFS right now.

Pau Gasol broke the fourth metacarpal in his left hand in pregame warmups on Thursday and will likely be out indefinitely.

It's hard to believe this happened before the game started, but also explains why he headed to the locker room with David Lee starting in his place. If he's going to miss extended time, which it sounds like he will, Lee, LaMarcus Aldridge and Dewayne Dedmon would all see a boost in fantasy value. The Spurs say that a timeline for Gasol's return will be determined at a later date.
Jan 19 - 9:13 PM

David Lee is starting for Pau Gasol against the Nuggets on Thursday.

It's unclear what happened to Gasol, but he may have hurt his finger going through layup lines. He went back to the locker room, so we'll be looking for an update. Stay tuned.
Jan 19 - 8:41 PM

Dejounte Murray will start for Tony Parker (foot) against the Nuggets on Thursday.

It'll be the third start of his career. In his previous two, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 boards, 2.5 assists and 0.5 treys. He's actually shot the ball a lot better, but obviously you would have to be in a deep league to grab him.
Jan 19 - 8:30 PM

Tony Parker (left foot pain) will not play on Thursday against the Nuggets.

This is not in a back-to-back set, so this is more about him not being 100 percent. Parker looked fine on Tuesday night with 29 minutes in a win over the Wolves. It sounds like a wear-and-tear issue for the veteran and he could miss more time to get him right. Patty Mills should get close to 30 minutes tonight and is worth a look as a pickup in deeper leagues.
Jan 19 - 8:06 PM

Danilo Gallinari (ankle) has been ruled out to face the Spurs on Thursday night.

He was probable on Wednesday, but was downgraded this morning to questionable. The Nuggets have continuously listed him as probable for several points this season and would play him, but they'll sit him against Kawhi Leonard. Hopefully, it's just a one-day thing for the oft-injured forward. Will Barton should get massive minutes tonight while Jamal Murray and Juan Hernangomez get some decent burn.
Jan 19 - 8:04 PM

Tristan Thompson left Thursday's game in the first half and went straight to the locker room after dislocating his left index finger.

X-rays were negative and it sounds like he should return to play in the second half, according to the Cavs' broadcast team. He had four rebounds, two blocks and missed both of his shots before heading to the locker room. Thompson is warming up in preparation for playing in the second half.
Jan 19 - 8:03 PM

Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is coming off the bench in his return to the lineup on Thursday.

The Knicks will stick with their winning lineup from Wednesday in Boston: Ron Baker, Derrick Rose, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Kyle O'Quinn. The Knicks are fully expected to limit Porzingis in his return, but he should be in your season-long lineups. We'll see where he gets his minutes with plenty of talk about him playing more center.
Jan 19 - 7:30 PM

Jodie Meeks (right thumb) will not need surgery and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

He suffered two sprained ligaments from the thumb dislocation on Wednesday night. The team added the return date will depend on the response to the treatment. Meeks has filled in for the injured Evan Fournier (heel, foot), so the Magic may have to turn to Mario Hezonja and C.J. Watson. Hezonja is only worth a look in deep leagues for now. Meeks' fantasy owners should probably cut him.
Jan 19 - 6:33 PM

Jeremy Lin (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday against the Pelicans.

We don't even know when Lin is going to practice yet, so he's out indefinitely. Lin has hinted that him missing games is more than just about him being healthy, so the team may want to look at their younger players. Isaiah Whitehead and Spencer Dinwiddie have split the minutes for the most part, but neither are worth owning in standard leagues.

An MRI of Joakim Noah's left ankle confirmed a sprain and he will not play on Thursday against the Wizards.

There are no details of a timetable, but the Knicks will likely be taking it easy on their oft-injured veteran. With him out, Kyle O'Quinn will look to bounce back from a dreadful start on Wednesday. He's still worth a look in season-long leagues or for DFS. Plus, Willy Hernangomez should benefit and is worth a look as a punt or pickup in deep leagues.
