The Wizards have completed a sign-and-trade deal with the Mavericks to acquire free agent F/C DeJuan Blair for the rights to 2009 second-round draft pick Emir Preldzic, the team announced Wednesday night.

The Wizards will bring in Blair on a three-year contract worth $6 million, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation. The Wizards now have big men Nene, Drew Gooden, Al Harrington, Marcin Gortat, Kris Humphries, Kevin Seraphin and Blair, meaning things will be crowded up front. But Nene and Gortat are expected to handle the bulk of the minutes.

Enes Kanter failed to lead the Thunder past his former team on Saturday, scoring 18 points with 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 34 minutes.

He had some pretty brutal comments about the Jazz prior to the game tonight, and the home crowd certainly let him hear it throughout the game. Rudy Gobert won the matchup tonight, but Kanter still deserves some credit for the way he has been playing for the Thunder. Kanter is averaging an impressive 21.5 points and 12.3 boards over his last four games, and while he still doesn't produce assists, blocks or steals on a consistent basis, he should be locked in a must-start player in all leagues down the stretch.
Mar 29 - 12:32 AM

Jameer Nelson scored 22 points against the Blazers on Saturday with two rebounds, five assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

With Danilo Gallinari (rest) out, most of the Nuggets players moved up a position -- shooting guard to a small forward and so forth. That allowed Nelson to play next to Ty Lawson a little more, which has been happening more often. Nelson has scored at least 12 points in each of his last four and he's on the radar in deeper leagues.
Mar 29 - 12:29 AM

Trey Burke scored 22 points in a win over the Thunder on Saturday, adding six boards, four assists, four steals and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes.

He got some extra touches on offense with Derrick Favors (back) in street clothes, and the Jazz also opted to stick with him down the stretch over rookie Dante Exum. Burke did shoot just 8-of-23 from the field and 1-of-8 from deep, but his owners won't be complaining with this line. Over his last five games Burke has averaged 17.2 points, 4.4 assists, 3.0 boards, 2.2 steals and 1.6 3-pointers in over 33 minutes per game, and he belongs on most fantasy rosters as long he stays hot.
Mar 29 - 12:05 AM

Trevor Booker started in place of Derrick Favors (back) on Saturday vs. the Thunder and scored 12 points with three boards, one steal and one 3-poiner in 33 minutes.

This wasn't a great line by any means, but the Thunder have some serious size in the paint and this wasn't a great matchup for Booker. It isn't clear if Favors will need to miss any more games, but Booker will be worth a look in most leagues if the Jazz keep Favors on the shelf. On a side note, Booker had one of the quotes of the night when he took a subtle shot at former teammate Enes Kanter. "He did what he always does," Booker said. "He got his stats. He didn't defend. He took an L [a loss)"
Mar 28 - 11:57 PM

Rudy Gobert was an animal in a 94-89 win over the Thunder on Saturday, scoring 13 points with 15 boards, one assist, four blocks and three steals in 41 minutes.

It was just another day at the office for Gobert and it had to feel good for him to snag the win against Enes Kanter because of his comments prior to the game. Gobert has now double-doubled in each of his last four games, and he will continue to carry a little more weight on offense if Derrick Favors (back) is forced to miss any more time.
Mar 28 - 11:54 PM

Stephen Curry made 8-of-13 from the field with six 3-pointers for 25 points during a 108-95 win in Milwaukee on Saturday, adding four rebounds, six assists, one steal and six turnovers.

He didn't have a great first half and was in foul trouble, but Curry and the Warriors turned it on in the third quarter -- that's been their calling card lately. They won their ninth consecutive game and have clinched the top seed in the Western Conference with their 60th win. Curry has been flat-out ridiculous from deep over his last five, making 5.4 treys per game on 61.4 percent from that range. He has to be the favorite for MVP. Meanwhile it's probably safe to say Steve Kerr made the right call with the Warriors winning their 60th game of the season on the same night the Knicks lost their 60th.
Mar 28 - 11:23 PM

Ricky Ledo played a career-high 29 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday with 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.

He's going to get minutes and this was his third consecutive game with at least 20. Ledo may have the inside track for bench minutes right now because Cleanthony Early can't seem to show any sort of consistency. Ledo is still only worth a look in deep leagues for now.
Mar 28 - 10:38 PM

J.J. Hickson will draw the start vs. the Blazers on Sunday.

Danilo Gallinari is taking the night off in order to get some extra rest, but it's definitely surprising to see the Nuggets go with Hickson over Jusuf Nurkic. Hickson might flirt with a double-double vs. his former team, but he still belongs on the wire outside of deeper leagues.
Mar 28 - 9:54 PM

Gerald Henderson was extremely efficient during a 115-100 win over the Hawks on Saturday, scoring 20 points on 9-of-10 from the field with five rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers.

That's good for a 100.0 effective field goal percentage to help him get to his fifth 20-point game this month. In his previous games this month, Henderson averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 boards, 2.9 dimes and 0.8 steals on 46.2 percent from the field. The Hornets are really thin at forward, so expect Hendo to have at least one more 20-point game this week. He's a must-add player in points leagues and a decent add in standard formats.
Mar 28 - 9:51 PM

Marvin Williams played 36 minutes against the Hawks on Saturday with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and three 3-pointers.

His 14 shots from the field are the most he's had all season, so it's abundantly clear the injuries to the forward spots will be resulting in some extra shots from Marvin. He's already hitting two treys per game this month, so if he starts to hit shots on a consistent basis Marvin could be a must-start guy. Give him a look in all standard leagues with his four-game week.
Mar 28 - 9:44 PM

Al Jefferson didn't look like himself against the Hawks on Saturday with two points, six boards, two assists and two blocks in just 17 minutes.

He looked gassed and he may not be over his knee soreness. Jefferson was in some visible pain on Friday and he was pretty much useless out there beyond the first quarter tonight. The Hornets will kick off a four-game week on Monday against the Celtics and hopefully Al will feel better after the off day on Sunday.
