The Cavaliers are willing to add Andrew Wiggins in a trade for Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, according to sources close to Bob Finnan of the News-Herald.

This has become the hot debate in NBA circles; should the Cavaliers swap the potential of Andrew Wiggins for the already proven production of Kevin Love. The report also mentions that James indeed wants Love on the roster. The whole topic has been mostly speculation to this point, but if these reports are true, it shows that the Cavaliers are hoping to contend for championships as soon as possible.

Norris Cole scored a career-high 23 points in his first game as the Heat's starting point guard during Wednesday's win against Washington.

Cole had a big opening night as played 27 minutes in his new role and impressed head coach Erik Spoelstra. "I wasn’t even expecting that. I just wanted him to quarterback our team and make decisions and get us organized," Spoelstra said. "He came out super aggressive at the beginning, almost frantic, and then settled in from there." The 26-year-old emergence has relegated Mario Chalmers to second unit duties and makes Cole a must-add in standard fantasy leagues.

Rajon Rondo (hand) told reporters that he felt "91 percent" during Wednesday's 121-105 win over the Nets.

Rondo's tongue-in-cheek self-appraisal has gone from 79 to 83 to 91 percent over the course of a week, so he's trending in the right direction. His 13 points, seven rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block, and one three-pointer on Wednesday night had opponents noticing too. "Rondo was classic," said Kevin Garnett. "I don't know what he said he was, 89, 83 percent? That's a hell of an 83 percent." Head coach Brad Stevens said Rondo won't be on a minutes restriction going forward, so as long as he can stay healthy, the 28-year-old will be a threat to post a triple-double on any given night.

Pau Gasol thinks his brother Marc may end up with the New York Knicks when he hits free agency after the 2014-15 season.

The Knicks are a logical suitor as they'll have over $20 million in cap space next summer, but it sounds like the brother have already spoken about Pau's former coach. "Hopefully he’ll have a strong year and all the options in the world, because he’s one of the top centers, interior players in the league, so any team would be fortunate to have him," Pau said. "It’s a personal decision. I talked to my brother enough about Phil that he knows what he brings to the table. Gasol had a strong season opener with 32 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks and is one of the better centers in fantasy basketball as long as he is healthy.

Isaiah Thomas filled it up in just 20 minutes during an easy 119-99 win over the Lakers on Wednesday, making 9-of-11 from the field for 23 points with one rebound, three assists and five 3-pointers.

That's good for a ridiculous 104.5 effective field goal percentage, 17.8 assist ratio and a 29.2 usage rate. Thomas is definitely going to have some down nights with his minutes taking a hit, but he just looks so good in this up-tempo offense. He won't be this great, but should be a player worth starting now and would become a tremendous asset should Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe need to miss time.
Oct 30 - 4:03 AM

Marcus Morris caught fire against the Lakers on Wednesday with 21 points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and five 3-pointers as the starting small forward.

He owned the Lakers last season and got it going tonight in the blowout. In the post-game interview, Morris said he was practicing 200-300 attempts from beyond the arc per night, so it paid some immediate dividends. P.J. Tucker is still out for two more games, so fantasy owners should consider Marcus a near must-start option until further notice.
Oct 30 - 3:31 AM

Kobe Bryant attempted 25 of the Lakers' 86 shots from the field, making 11 of them for 31 points with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in a blowout 119-99 loss to the Suns on Wednesday.

If you're scoring at home, he had a usage rate of 43.6, which is a basically 150 percent of what the 2013-14 league leader posted. Usage is obviously not going to be a problem for Kobe, so the stats are going to be there as long as you're OK with some efficiency issues. He should get better and just needs to stay healthy.
Oct 30 - 3:27 AM

Ed Davis turned in a big line against the Suns on Wednesday with 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes.

He is 2-for-2 with big lines and it looks like he's earning his bump in minutes. The Lakers are getting absolutely torched on defense and Carlos Boozer isn't helping. A move to the starting lineup for Davis could help, but he's still worth owning in most leagues even with his current bench role.
Oct 30 - 3:04 AM

Damian Lillard hit just 3-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 10 points, two rebounds, five assists and a steal in Wednesday's opening win over the Thunder.

This is not what owners were looking for and it's possible that Lillard was more concerned about chasing Russell Westbrook all night than playing well offensively. He failed in both areas, but is still primed for another big season. Put this one in your rearview mirror and get ready for Game 2. Despite his struggles tonight, the Blazers pulled away from the Thunder in the fourth quarter.
Oct 30 - 2:28 AM

Brandon Jennings played just 20 minutes against Nuggets on Wednesday, scoring four points with four rebounds, two assists and three turnovers on 2-of-4 from the field.

Uh oh. It takes a special type of player to fit on coach Stan Van Gundy's system and Jennings is certainly not the prototype. He did have some Achilles soreness and maybe that was a factor, but the coast is clear on the injury front right now. Jennings is probably one of the biggest losers from a fantasy perspective tonight and he is on thin ice after just one game.
Oct 30 - 2:19 AM

Russell Westbrook hit 11-of-26 shots and a 3-pointer on his way to 38 points, three rebounds, six assists, three steals and just two turnovers in Wednesday's loss.

He was a one-man wrecking crew tonight and it will likely continue as long as Kevin Durant is out. His two turnovers were possibly more impressive than all the points, but he's not going to turn it over a lot if he's shooting instead of passing.
Oct 30 - 2:18 AM

Draymond Green got the start for injured David Lee (hamstring) in Wednesday's opener and double-doubled with 12 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 4-of-7 shooting.

He also had five turnovers in his 34 minutes, but owners who bought the Rotoworld hype on Green have to be pleased with tonight's line. Now we'll have to see what Green can do coming off the bench behind Lee, once he's healthy enough to play.
