The Mavericks have reached an agreement with Al-Farouq Aminu worth $2.1 million over two years, according to CSNNW.com.

They expressed interest in Aminu back on July 1 and they were finally able to get their man. The Mavs desperately need some size on the wings with their very small backcourt, so Aminu fits the bill at 6'9". This is also a big win for them after the debacle with Rashard Lewis' knee. Aminu will likely play both forward spots off the bench, but he's not going to get enough shots to matter in most fantasy leagues.
Jul 23 - 9:24 PM

Joakim Noah (ankle) said he will play against the Knicks on Thursday.

It's the Bulls, so he's not a complete lock to play. Noah has been held out of the lineup for the past four games, but he did go through practice. Upon his return, Taj Gibson will lose some minutes while Nikola Mirotic will also lose some playing time -- he's struggled lately. Noah's owners can pencil him in for their lineups.
Dec 17 - 2:41 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) participated in the morning shootaround, but is still questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Denver.

His status will likely be determined closer to tip-off, so his owners will have to frequently check back for updates. If he is held out of Wednesday's game, Tarik Black would likely start but still wouldn't be an asset in most leagues. Stay tuned.
Dec 17 - 1:52 PM

Jeff Teague (hamstring) is considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers.

Teague is said to be dealing with a left hamstring strain, and reportedly suffered the injury in Monday's game vs. the Bulls. Owners will want to check back prior to tip-off to confirm this news, but it appears that Dennis Schroder will likely get the nod in the starting lineup Wednesday. Owners in deeper leagues should pick up Schroder as a speculative add for short-term value, and should also give him a look as a sneaky daily plug-and-play.
Dec 17 - 1:22 PM

J.R. Smith (foot) will not play in Thursday's game vs. the Bulls.

It will be his fifth straight game out of the lineup and it is becoming pretty evident that this injury has become a real issue for him. Smith isn't worth owning in standard leagues as he has failed to succeed in the triangle offense and it is unclear when he will return to action. Tim Hardaway Jr. will play all the minutes he can handle Thursday and is worth a look in most leagues.
Dec 17 - 1:12 PM

Chris Bosh (calf) will not play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

This is no surprise, as Bosh is considered out indefinitely and could miss several weeks. Josh McRoberts (knee) could be lost for the season, so it will be up to Justin Hamilton, Udonis Haslem, and Shawne Willimas to soak up extra playing time.
Dec 17 - 12:51 PM

Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tiago Splitter will all be active for Wednesday's showdown with the Grizzlies.

All three players were rested on the second night of a back-to-back set on Monday, so this news comes as no surprise. Duncan is the only must-start option, while Ginobili is worth a look considering Tony Parker (hamstring) is on the sidelines. Splitter, on the other hand, is only an asset in deeper leagues until he earns a larger role.
Dec 17 - 12:36 PM

Kevin Garnett is not on the injury report Wednesday, and looks set to play vs. the Raptors on the second night of a back-to-back set.

There was a good chance that KG would have sat this one out, but Brooklyn is desperate for a win and will keep the aging veteran active. However, Garnett is averaging less than 24 minutes per game this season and is only worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of rebounding and the occasional blocked shot.
Dec 17 - 12:28 PM

Goran Dragic (back) is probable for Wednesday's game after going through shootaround.

He has missed the last two games after his back flared up on him during Friday's game vs. the Pistons, but he appeared to turn the corner and should be good to go Wednesday. Dragic has a favorable matchup against the reeling Hornets, and owners will want to get him active in their lineups. Gerald Green will likely shift back to the bench Wednesday and Isaiah Thomas will also see a decrease in minutes.
Dec 17 - 12:22 PM

Cody Zeller (nose) will start on Wednesday vs. the Suns.

He will likely be playing in a mask, so it will be interesting to see if it has an impact on his game. Zeller has held onto the starting gig for now, but has failed to impress so far and often looks lost on the floor. Zeller is still worth a look in most leagues if he ever lives up to his potential, but we wouldn't recommend cutting a player you would miss for him. Marvin William's value takes a big hit with this news.
Dec 17 - 11:26 AM

Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring) will not play against Memphis on Wednesday.

This is just a reminder so owners can have a backup plan ready in time for Wednesday's tip-off. Cory Joseph is the obvious beneficiary in Parker's absence while Marco Belinelli and Manu Ginobili will see increase workloads in place of Leonard. We will update Leonard as needed and he is simply dealing with a sore hand and should be considered day-to-day.
Dec 17 - 11:23 AM

Kevin Love (illness) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game vs. the Hawks.

He wasn't able to participate in the morning shootaround, so owners will have to check back prior to tip-off for the official word. If Love can't go, Tristan Thompson would likely play all the minutes he could handle and would be worth a look in all leagues. Stay tuned.
