Marreese Speights was arrested for driving under the influence early Tuesday morning.

Speights was driving home from his 27th birthday party and spent the night in jail after blowing a .103 and .106 on two different Breathalyzer tests. Speights will enter the second year of a three-year contract with the Warriors after averaging 6.4 points and 3.7 boards during his first season with the team, but will likely face a suspension during the 2014-15 season if found guilty.

Jeff Teague went off again on Friday against the Pelicans with 26 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

That's five games in a row with at least 23 points, averaging 25.8 points, 2.8 boards, 6.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 triples on 53.8 percent from the field and 95.1 percent from the line in that span. This might be his high point on the season, so feel free to see if another owner will overpay. To be clear, Teague should crush his ADP.
Nov 28 - 11:36 PM

Austin Rivers did not score in 21 minutes of action in a start at shooting guard on Friday.

He added two assists, one foul and missed all eight shots from the field. Rivers is just not capable of scoring in the NBA on his own and doesn't do much else on the stat sheet. He's not worth owning in most leagues and is yet another case that fantasy owners shouldn't overreact about who is starting.
Nov 28 - 11:22 PM

Dwight Howard (knee) is doubtful to play against the Bucks on Saturday night.

He is traveling with the team, but it would be a major surprise to see him on the court. Tarik Black is playing more minutes and has crept onto the radar in deep leagues. Howard owners just have to sit tight for now. He's not a buy-low option, though.
Nov 28 - 11:04 PM

Isaiah Canaan (ankle) and Patrick Beverley (hamstring) have been ruled out for Saturday against the Bucks.

The Rockets are in trouble. Jason Terry started the second half and he's likely going to start on Saturday, as well. Troy Daniels, Francisco Garcia and Nick Johnson will all have to help out for the Rockets while James Harden carries them. Canaan seems like he's going to miss multiple games and can be cut in most formats.
Nov 28 - 10:55 PM

Cody Zeller was effective in his 33 minutes as the starting power forward against the Warriors on Friday with 15 points, 14 boards and one turnover.

He only committed two fouls and didn't make many mistakes tonight. Zeller was coming in with a few nice games under his belt before this one and there's a chance he gets his minutes to around 26 even when Marvin Williams (shoulder) comes back. He's worth a look in standard leagues for now, but preferably in exchange for something you're not going to miss much.
Nov 28 - 10:35 PM

Marreese Speights looked like an All-Star against the Hornets on Friday, scoring 27 points with five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in just 24 minutes.

He attempted 20 shots tonight and made the most of his four offensive boards. Speights has seen a slight increase in minutes to 20.0 per game over his last five, averaging 17.6 points, 4.6 boards, 1.4 assists and 0.6 blocks. David Lee (hamstring) is getting close to a return, so it's hard to be too excited about picking Speights up as anything more than a short-term, deep league asset.
Nov 28 - 10:02 PM

DeMar DeRozan went to the locker room due to a left groin strain and will not return.

He was in a lot of pain and he walked very slowed to the locker room, so it's possible he misses some time. The Raptors will likely give him an MRI, and we would probably consider him as doubtful for Sunday against the Lakers. Lou Williams replaced him and would be a very strong pickup in all leagues -- he was already hot coming in. Terrence Ross would also see an uptick while James Johnson also gets more minutes and is arguably a better grab than Ross.
Nov 28 - 9:21 PM

Isaiah Canaan went to the locker room on Friday and will not return.

He attempted his free throws after what looks like a bad sprain. Jason Terry replaced him while Nick Johnson and Troy Daniels could also help out. We'll look for an update on Canaan from the team, but he could miss some time and the Rockets would be in deep trouble with Patrick Beverley (hamstring) without a target date. Worst yet, Canaan was playing well and finished with 13 points, two rebounds and three 3-pointers.
Nov 28 - 9:05 PM

Darren Collison is starting against the Spurs on Friday.

The Kings continue to not update their probable players until after the tip, which has become very annoying. Collison returns from a two-game absence and we'll let you know how he does tonight.
Nov 28 - 8:27 PM

Isaiah Thomas (ankle) will not play Friday vs. the Nuggets.

With Thomas sidelined, Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe will get more than their usual allotment of minutes, and Gerald Green will see some extended minutes off the bench. Rookie G Tyler Ennis will also join the active roster, but he's a negligible fantasy option. Green makes for a sneaky play in daily leagues as the team's primary offensive weapon off the bench.
Nov 28 - 7:43 PM

Rudy Gay (Achilles) and Darren Collison (quad) are listed as probable to face the Spurs on Friday.

Now it sounds like they're going to play unless coach Mike Malone pulls a Tom Thibodeau. Gay owners will still want to check back for an update in the next 30 minutes. Omri Casspi would only be a handcuff in deep leagues if Gay does make it back.
