Coach Mike Krzyzewski could alternate Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose as his starting point guards for the FIBA World Cup.

Irving will start in Tuesday's final exhibition vs. Slovenia. Rose was expected to be ahead of Irving, but Kyrie has been absolutely ridiculous during Team USA's exhibition run. The team also sat Rose out for a couple games, so bringing him off the bench could keep his minutes in check. They'll look to dominate in Group C vs. Turkey, New Zealand, Dominican Republic and Ukraine when the tournament starts on Aug. 30.

Jeremy Lin (illness) is a game-time decision to play against the Raptors on Friday due to a sinus issue.

Considering the Lakers are holding out healthy players, it's tough to be confident in Lin playing tonight. If he's out, Jabari Brown played down the stretch on Wednesday while Wayne Ellington would also be asked to step up.
Mar 27 - 6:13 PM

Chris Andersen (calf) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

With Hassan Whiteside (hand) and Andersen unavailable, Udonis Haslem will likely be forced into heavy minutes again tonight, and he's worth a look as a low-end, plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Henry Walker, Luol Deng, and Michael Beasley will all likely split minutes at the four-spot, with Deng offering the most upside out of that group.
Mar 27 - 6:11 PM

Dwyane Wade (knee) is a game-time decision to face the Hawks on Friday.

Coach Erik Spoelstra hinted earlier today that Wade is a little closer to doubtful, so we're cautiously not expecting Wade to suit up tonight. If he is out, Mario Chalmers will likely slide into the starting lineup with Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson also stepping up.
Mar 27 - 6:09 PM

Donatas Motiejunas (back) is closer to doubtful for Friday's game against the Wolves and he could miss upcoming games, as well.

He couldn't even finish shootaround today, so he might need a few days off to get right. The Rockets are already without Terrence Jones (ribs, lung), so expect to see more minutes going to Josh Smith and Joey Dorsey. Trevor Ariza will also play some stretch four.
Mar 27 - 6:06 PM

Mo Williams (sore knee) plans to play Friday vs. the Wizards.

Williams sat out practice on Thursday, but he'll try and give it a go tonight. However, things aren't official just yet, so owners should check back for another update closer to tip-off.
Mar 27 - 5:57 PM

Tim Hardaway Jr. (wrist) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Celtics, and he's unlikely for Saturday's game vs. the Bulls.

With Hardaway Jr. and Alexey Shved (ribs) sidelined, Langston Galloway will get all the run he can handle. Ricky Ledo could also enter the rotation, but Galloway is the better play in standard leagues.
Mar 27 - 5:55 PM

Mason Plumlee will start in place of Thaddeus Young (knee) on Friday night against the Cavs.

The last time Thaddeus Young was out of the starting lineup, the Nets went with a forward combo of Joe Johnson and Alan Anderson, but they'll go big against the Cavs. Plumlee and Brook Lopez were on the court together for about 12 minutes on Wednesday, so that should continue and both could play for about 20 minutes next to each other. Give Plumlee a look because he'll have a chance at a double-double.
Mar 27 - 5:50 PM

Dewayne Dedmon (left ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

It appears that Dedmon suffered a setback when he returned to action on Wednesday, and he could be looking at additional time on the sidelines. Channing Frye will have the opportunity to slide back into the starting lineup tonight, but he can only be viewed as a 3-point specialist in extremely deep leagues. On such a busy Friday night, there should be much better options available to slide into your active roster.
Mar 27 - 5:34 PM

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) is making significant progress and rode a stationary bike on Friday.

If the progress continues, Jones could resume on-court activity as soon as Tuesday. This is great news to hear on Jones after suffering a very scary partially collapsed lung. Fantasy owners can probably keep him on the wire unless you have the luxury of stashing players right now.
Mar 27 - 3:18 PM

Kevin Durant (foot) will have season-ending foot surgery and will be held out of basketball activities for 4-6 months.

He is going to have a bone graft procedure because he is "showing signs of regression," according to the team. This will be his third surgery on his right foot and he's not a complete lock to be ready for training camp. If Durant needs six months to get back to basketball-related activity, he'll be looking at an October return. After five consecutive seasons of being the number one player in fantasy leagues, Durant's fantasy stock has plummeted more than almost anyone could have imagined. We hope we see the 2013-14 KD next season.
Mar 27 - 2:55 PM

Nicolas Batum (back) is probable to play against the Suns on Friday.

He missed the last two games and should be ready to play tonight. Batum reportedly looked good in warmups on Wednesday, but the team still held him out. Hopefully he doesn't aggravate his back injury and puts up a big line in what should be a high-scoring game. Dorell Wright can be dropped in most leagues while C.J. McCollum will also take a big hit.
