The Clippers have agreed to trade Jared Dudley and a future first-round pick to the Bucks, in exchange for Carlos Delfino and Miroslav Raduljica.

Dudley is owed $8.5 million over the next two seasons, whereas Delfino and Raduljica have a combined $4.8 million in guaranteed salary left on their deals, so the Clippers used their first-round draft pick to entice Milwaukee to take on the extra money. Dudley is a proficient 3-point shooter but he faces stiff competition for playing time from guys like Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Fantasy owners can safely ignore him on draft day.

Al-Farouq Aminu started Sunday's must-win Game 4 and made a career-high three 3-pointers to finish with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, 12 rebounds, two assists and one block in 38 minutes.

Injuries forced Rick Carlisle to start Aminu tonight but it was a logical move, as Aminu had been playing far less than his excellent per-minute production warranted. Tonight's 3-point accuracy seems like a fluke but Aminu should have locked down a starting job for Game 5 with this performance, as Chandler Parsons (knee) is done for the season and Richard Jefferson is best utilized in short spurts off the bench.

J.J. Barea thrived as a starter on Sunday with 17 points, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, 13 assists and one steal, helping the Mavericks stave off a season-ending loss by beating the Rockets 121-109.

Rick Carlisle pulled the right strings tonight, enabling his short-handed squad to avoid a first-round sweep. When asked about Barea's excellent postseason play during his Mavs career, Carlisle said, "He's relished playoff opportunities ... I think that's how he's wired." Dallas will need Barea at his disruptive best when they try to extend the series to six games in Houston on Tuesday.

Dwight Howard's free throw struggles were on full display in Sunday's Game 4 defeat, as he went 3-of-13 at the line to finish with 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 36 minutes.

Howard missed two months with a knee injury and the Rockets limited him as a precaution down the stretch, a decision which has already paid off with solid production in the playoffs. He's averaging 16.3 points on 61.0 percent shooting, 12.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.8 blocks through four postseason games. He'd even made 12-of-18 free throws prior to tonight's struggles on the road.
Apr 27 - 12:30 AM

Monta Ellis dropped a game-high 31 points to help the Mavericks win at home on Sunday, hitting 13-of-21 field goals and 3-of-5 free throws with two 3-pointers.

Ellis turned the ball over five times but he also had six rebounds, three assists and one steal. He looked very comfortable as the Mavs' unquestioned go-to offensive player with both Rajon Rondo and Chandler Parsons out of commission, and his usage rate (28.1 percent on Sunday) should be through the roof again during Tuesday's Game 5 in Houston.
Apr 27 - 12:25 AM

Tyson Chandler was on a mission during Sunday's win vs. the Rockets, piling up 10 points on 4-of-4 shooting, 14 rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

He made only 2-of-6 free throws and Dallas as a team was an abysmal 9-of-21 at the line, but they still racked up 121 points to make it a 3-1 series vs. the heavily-favored Rockets. Chandler's double-digit scoring is a bonus for the Mavs, who could live with zero points as long as the former Defensive Player of the Year stays active on the glass -- Dallas won tonight's battle of the boards 52-38.

Kevin Love (dislocated shoulder) will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury, but ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports that he will likely miss "a minimum of two weeks."

It seems inevitable that Love will miss games in the second round of the playoffs. We'll await test results before jumping to any far-reaching conclusions, but Tristan Thompson is likely to see the biggest boost if Love is forced to miss any time. James Jones, Mike Miller and possibly Shawn Marion could also see their roles increased, especially if J.R. Smith is suspended for blatantly hitting Jae Crowder in the face on Sunday. Check back on Monday for updates on Love's status.

Paul Pierce torched the visiting Raptors once more on Sunday, dropping 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting with four 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in only 22 minutes.

Prior to knowing that his team would definitely face the Wizards in the playoffs, DeMar DeRozan told reporters, "I hope we see Paul Pierce." He may rue those words, however, as Pierce was in vintage form during the Wizards' first round sweep -- he averaged 16.0 points and 3.3 triples while making 53.8 percent of his attempts. He'll get at least a few days to rest before returning to action vs. the winner of the Hawks vs. Nets series.

Bradley Beal logged a team-high 36 minutes in Sunday's series-clinching victory, scoring 23 points with three 3-pointers, five assists, four steals and only one turnover.

Beal shot 5-of-15 from the field but he made up the difference with a 10-of-11 mark from the free throw line. He averaged 2.6 free throws per game during the regular season but that's increased to 4.7 per game in the playoffs. Postseason physicality and the Raptors' matchup problems are big reasons for the leap, but it's also a testament to Beal's aggressiveness offensively -- he's been in attack mode with 17.5 shot attempts per game.
Apr 26 - 9:57 PM

Amir Johnson scored four points, grabbed three rebounds and blocked one shot in 26 minutes during Sunday's Game 4 defeat vs. the Wizards.

Johnson heads into unrestricted free agency this summer and there's a good chance he won't return to Toronto, where he's spent six of his 10 seasons in the NBA. He was limited by nagging injuries for most of the 2014-15 season but still played in 75 games this season, one reason he was able to crack the top-100 in 8-cat and 9-cat fantasy leagues.
Apr 26 - 9:51 PM

Tim Duncan had 22 points (8-of-13 FGs and 6-of-10 FTs), 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks in a losing effort on Sunday, as the Spurs fell at home 105-114.

Duncan got off to a slow start but he was as terrific as ever today, and he racked up a few more records that highlight his longevity -- he's the only player to log 9,000+ minutes in the NBA playoffs, and passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for third place in most postseason appearances (trailing only Robert Horry and Derek Fisher).
Apr 26 - 7:51 PM

Mike Conley will have surgery on Monday to repair multiple facial fractures and his timetable for recovery is uncertain.

TNT's Lewis Johnson broke the news. We already know that Conley will not play in Game 4, leaving Beno Udrih and Nick Calathes to run the PG spot, and his availability for a potential second-round matchup should be determined after the surgery. Russell Westbrook missed only one game after having facial surgery in early March but that's an exception, and the nature of Conley's multiple fractures will determine the length of his absence. Stay tuned.
