Paul George has reportedly informed the Pacers that he intends to leave the franchise as an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

George also let the Pacers know that ideally, he'd like to go to the Lakers, and while he hasn't formally requested a trade, Pacers' GM Kevin Pritchard has reportedly already begun engaging with teams around the league on a potential deal; the Cavaliers have already made inquiries. The Lakers might not have the assets to be able to pry away PG-13 from Indiana, and there's less incentive for them to do so if they could get him for nothing as a free agent, but with word out that he won't re-sign with Indiana and he'd like to go to Los Angeles it'll be that much more risky for a team to unload assets now for what could turn out to be just a one-year rental.

Rodney Hood (leg) will not play on Saturday against the Clippers.

His leg injury from Friday night will keep him out of action in a back-to-back set. Leg injuries have been a thorn in the side of Hood for years now and he's not exactly a fast healer either. Plus, there's a chance the Jazz are being cautious because he's reportedly on the trade block. He's still probably worth owning in 12-team leagues, though. Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson should pick up some run.
Jan 20 - 7:22 PM

Paul George scored 36 points with seven rebounds, two assists and five 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

The Cavs forgot to guard PG-13 in the first half and he hit a slew of tough shots in the second half to put this game out of reach. George has been a complete scorer for most of this month with 20 points per game since Dec. 31 even before this explosion, but his usage is slightly down due to some others taking more shots. Even if the usage remains down, George looks like he's ready for a strong finish this season.
Jan 20 - 6:47 PM

Russell Westbrook was too much for the Cavs on Saturday during a 148-124 win, scoring 23 points, nine rebounds, 20 assists, two steals, five turnovers and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes during the 148-124 win.

He shredded the Cavs guards with some beautiful kick-out passes for open shots. Westbrook also used his left hand a lot during this game, which isn't unusual for a guy who writes with his left hand. His 3-point attempts continue to drop and that's helped him maintain a respectable 49.1 percent from the field over his previous 10. Westbrook is getting hot at the right time.
Jan 20 - 6:47 PM

Steven Adams dominated against the Cavs on Saturday, scoring 25 points wit 10 rebounds, one assist and one block on 12-of-13 from the field in 29 minutes.

The bad news is he made just 1-of-5 from the line, but that's OK. He scored 10 points in the first 4.5 minutes of this game as the Cavs tiny lineups could do nothing to stop him early. Adams also did some damage on the offense glass with five on that end, which extends his lead in that department for the season. Adams is putting up a great season in reality and in fantasy.
Jan 20 - 6:45 PM

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, no turnovers and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

That's two terrific games in a row for Melo with a 27-point game coming on Wednesday. Although, the matchups were in his favor with the Lakers struggling against stretch fours and the Cavs, well, not being very good at all on defense. Still, Melo's subpar December is behind him as the Thunder seem to have found their offensive stride this month.
Jan 20 - 6:44 PM

LeBron James scored 18 points with three rebounds, seven assists, one block and two turnovers in 38 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

He looked discouraged for most of this game because his team is still in Strugglesville, and apparently they got a vacation package to stay there for a while. James also had a minus-33 in plus-minus today, which marked his fourth-worst of his NBA career -- his worst came back on Jan. 8 vs. MIN. The Cavs have lost six of their last seven games while LeBron has a brutal 118.8 defensive rating over that span -- Isaiah Thomas has a 123.8. Expect the Cavs trade rumors to pick up after this embarrassing loss.
Jan 20 - 6:44 PM

Isaiah Thomas made 8-of-14 from the field for 24 points with four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

We won't focus about the defensive issues, but that's probably the biggest takeaway here. On the bright side, Thomas had traces of a breakout game coming with solid usage and already getting to minutes in the 30s before this loss. He's still struggling at the rim this season and only made 48 percent from that range before today, so he really needs to fix that to resemble the 2016-17 version of himself. If you've been stashing Thomas, you should feel great about it so far.
Jan 20 - 6:34 PM

Ben McLemore will start on Saturday night against the Pelicans.

With Andrew Harrison and Mario Chalmers out, B-Mac could be looking at over 30 minutes today. He had a terrific game during a win over the Kings with 21 points in 27 minutes, so J.B. Bickerstaff could give him a long leash today. He's not really worth owning long term, but give him a look if you have dead weight. He's a tourney option in DFS, too.
Jan 20 - 6:25 PM

Mario Chalmers (shoulder) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.

The Grizzlies are going to be a little shorthanded and they'll be turning Ben McLemore and Wayne Selden a bunch today. Chalmers doesn't really have enough fantasy value when healthy.
Jan 20 - 6:24 PM

Goran Dragic (knee) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.

He will be in uniform for this game, but he's not going to play due to a bruised knee. Dragic was just starting to get hot after his elbow injury held him down, so hopefully this doesn't linger. It'll be the Josh Richardson show on offense while Wayne Ellington also slides into the starting lineup.
Jan 20 - 6:22 PM

Wayne Ellington is starting for Goran Dragic (knee) against the Hornets on Saturday.

Presumably, this means Dragic is not going to play today. Ellington is going to be firing away and should get over 35 minutes. Coach Erik Spoelstra wants him to take 20 treys, so today could be the day. He's worth owning in standard leagues while the Heat are so shorthanded.
