Marcus Morris hit 8-of-12 shots and two 3-pointers for a season-high 21 points, 10 rebounds and one assist in Tuesday's win over the Nets.

Morris has been a bit hit-or-miss, but is playing pretty well for the Celtics. He caught fire in the fourth quarter tonight and scored 11 points in the decisive quarter. He's a decent add in 12-team leagues, despite the presence of Jayson Tatum.

Coach Fred Hoiberg said that Denzel Valentine (left ankle) is out at least two more weeks.

Valentine initially hurt his left ankle back in late September and has not been able to shake the injury. If you are still rostering him, he can be dropped for a hot pickup, especially in leagues that don't have an IR spot. Justin Holiday and Antonio Blakeney both logged 27-plus minutes in the Bulls season-opener on Thursday and should continue to soak up extra playing time.
Oct 20 - 1:01 PM

Kris Dunn (personal) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Pistons but will rejoin the team for Monday's game vs. Dallas.

Dunn is on the east coast with his family following the birth of his son. The good news is that he will make his season debut on Monday night. Cameron Payne will start Saturday vs. Detroit. Payne also started Thursday's game but logged just 21 minutes. Ryan Arcidiacono played 28 minutes off the bench.
Oct 20 - 12:54 PM

Domantas Sabonis (bruised right knee) is listed as questionable on the injury report for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

Sabonis must have injured himself in the Pacers victory on Friday night. He didn't appear limited, as he tallied 12 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 22 minutes against the Bucks. If Sabonis is unable to play on Saturday, Thad Young, Myles Turner and Kyle O'Quinn would likely divvy up the vacated minutes.
Oct 20 - 12:44 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (personal, groin) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Pacers.

RHJ has been dealing with a nagging groin injury since early October. Also, his wife gave birth to a baby boy on Friday. We should have an update on his status soon. The Nets don't play again until Wednesday, so there's a chance he makes his season debut at Cleveland. Jared Dudley and Rodions Kurucs are expected to again soak up extra playing time Saturday vs. the Pacers.

Harrison Barnes (strained right hamstring) is listed as out for Saturday's game vs. Atlanta.

Speaking with reporters yesterday, Coach Rick Carlise said that although Barnes practiced on Friday, he was "unlikely" to play Saturday night. However, it appears Barnes will be cleared to make his season debut Monday vs. Chicago. Dorian Finney-Smith will likely draw another start for the Mavs on Saturday.
Oct 20 - 12:10 PM

Reggie Bullock (illness) and Stanley Johnson (toe) will both start Saturday night vs. the Bulls.

This news was expected, as Bullock returned to practice on Friday. With Bullock and Johnson returning to the starting lineup, Luke Kennard and Bruce Brown will be bumped back to the bench. Over his final 30 games of the 2017-18 season, Bullock averaged 14.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.6 treys. He could be worth a roster spot in deep leagues if can stay healthy and build off that momentum from last season.
Oct 20 - 12:08 PM

Coach Erik Spoelstra said Wayne Ellington (left ankle) went through shootaround Saturday morning but won't play Saturday vs. Charlotte.

Per the Heat's PR staff, Ellington will be will be active but is doubtful to play. Spoelstra said that he wants Ellington and Justise Winslow (hamstring) to get in a full practice before playing in a game. "They’re making a lot of progress. It just makes more sense to wait," said Coach Spo. Josh Richardson has been a beast early on this season and will continue to eat. Derrick Jones Jr. and Rodney McGruder will also soak up extra minutes.
Oct 20 - 11:51 AM

John Wall sat out of Saturday's shootaround due to migraines, but is expected to play Saturday night vs. the Raptors.

Wall has dealt with migraines throughout his career, having missed many practices and shootarounds. However, he typically is able to suit up and play come game time. We should have an update from coach Scott Brooks when Brooks speaks with the media at approximately 5:45 pm. If Wall is ruled out, Tomas Satoransky would draw the start and would be a very popular DFS play.
Oct 20 - 11:11 AM

Jonathon Simmons (personal) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Sixers.

We don't have any details on the reason for the absence, but hopefully, all is well with Simmons and his family. Simmons is averaging 28 minutes per game off the bench this season. With him sidelined, Evan Fournier, Terrence Ross and Jonathan Isaac will likely divvy up extra playing time.
Oct 20 - 9:45 AM

Russell Westbrook (knee) is "eyeing a possible return" in Sunday's game against the Kings, according to Royce Young of ESPN.

Westbrook has missed each of OKC's first two games this season, but has been making solid progress in his rehab work. The Thunder's medical staff has cleared him for full contact practices and drills. Per Young, OKC won't practice on Saturday and there is no shootaround scheduled Sunday, only a midafternoon walk-through, so a decision on Westbrook's status likely won't be available until near tipoff. Assuming Westbrook suits up, Dennis Schroder will get bumped back to the bench.

Joe Ingles hit seven 3-pointers en route to a career-high 27 points in Friday's 124-123 loss to the Warriors.

Ingles was carrying the Jazz tonight, hitting 10-of-15 shots with four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 36 minutes, but they were cruelly defeated by a Jonas Jerebko tip-in at the buzzer. It's a small sample size, but he's been more involved in the offense this season with an 18.4 usage rate compared to 15.9 the year before. He looks poised for another big campaign after posting top-40 total value in 9-category leagues in 2017-18.
