Kevin Durant carried the shorthanded Warriors during a 101-87 win over the Hornets on Wednesday, scoring a season-high 35 points with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

No Stephen Curry (ankle), no Draymond Green (shoulder), no problem. This was KD's third 30-point triple-double in his NBA career, his second with the Dubs and his ninth overall. Durant has been efficient no matter who he plays next, and he also talked about how he wanted to spread the ball to his teammates after the game. Durant had a season-high 42.1 usage rate and a triple-double today, which sounds like one of his former teammates. KD is going to absolutely feast while Curry is recovering.

David Nwaba will return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pacers, sending Alec Burks back to the second unit.

Across three starts this season, Nwaba has come through with averages of 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.0 assist and 1.0 turnover per game on 33.3% shooting, so he's still not a great option in most settings. Burks should still see quality minutes with the second unit, but inefficiency makes him an unattractive target in category-based settings.
Dec 18 - 6:25 PM

Tim Hardaway Jr. (sore right heel) is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the 76ers.

THJ sat out Monday's game with the heel issue, which resulted in Courtney Lee drawing the start while Emmanuel Mudiay and Kevin Knox did the heavy lifting on offense. Trey Burke also got back into the rotation, and it'll be more of the same if Hardaway Jr. can't give it a go tomorrow. Check back for another update following shootaround.
Dec 18 - 5:48 PM

Larry Nance will replace Ante Zizic in the starting unit for Tuesday's game against the Pacers.

Zizic got the start on Sunday to matchup with Joel Embiid, but he didn't do much, and probably won't see minutes outside of the teens tonight. Nance may finally be able to flirt with minutes in the 30s tonight, so he could be someone to think about deploying in DFS.
Dec 18 - 5:45 PM

Jordan Clarkson (back, rest) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Pacers.

The Cavs are on the front end of a back-to-back set, but with the team also labeling this as a rest day, it sounds like he should be able to get back out there on Wednesday. With Clarkson unavailable tonight, there will be more minutes for Alec Burks, Matthew Dellavedova and Collin Sexton.
Dec 18 - 5:42 PM

Allen Crabbe (right knee) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

This will mark his third straight game on the sidelines, which should translate to another start for Rodions Kurucs and more minutes for DeMarre Carroll. The Nets will play again on Wednesday vs. the Bulls, and for now, we'll be considering Crabbe questionable for that one.
Dec 18 - 5:35 PM

Tyreke Evans (knee) will "try to play" on Tuesday against the Cavs, according to head coach Nate McMillan.

If Evans is able to get back to the floor tonight, it'll be tough for Aaron Holiday to see minutes outside the teens. With just 18th round value on the year in 9-cat leagues, Evans simply hasn't been worth owning this season.
Dec 18 - 5:27 PM

JaVale McGee (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

This will be his second straight game on the sidelines due to the illness, which should result in Tyson Chandler earning another start. Chandler put up two points, seven rebounds, two steals, one block and one turnover through 20 minutes as a starter during Sunday's easy win in Washington, so he could be a low-end streamer option in deep leagues.
Dec 18 - 5:12 PM

Jeff Teague (left ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

It's not great that Teague is getting ruled out a full day in advance of tip-off, although the positive spin here is that maybe once he's finally healthy again, he'll be able to return to being an early-round guy. Teague acknowledged on Monday that he only felt 75% healthy, that he initially injured his ankle on Nov. 23 and that it had consistently gotten worse since then -- which is right about the time he started slumping. While he's out, Derrick Rose will fill in as the starting PG and Tyus Jones will see an uptick in minutes.
Dec 18 - 2:49 PM

J.J. Barea (ankle) is a go for Tuesday's game in Denver.

Barea will be back in action following a two-game absence, and he could be looking at extended minutes tonight with Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) unavailable. He's on the radar as a DFS option with a favorable matchup against the Nuggets.
Dec 18 - 2:32 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.

This will be his second consecutive game out of the lineup, and this wrist issue has now forced him to miss six out of the past seven games. He could be looking at another extended absence this time around to really get himself right before being brought back, so J.J. Barea and Jalen Brunson are on the radar as low-end adds in deep leagues.
Dec 18 - 2:31 PM

Julius Randle (ankle) has been upgraded to doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.

Alvin Gentry said on Tuesday morning that Randle wouldn't be available for Wednesday's game, so the doubtful tag seems like more of a formality. Nikola Mirotic (ankle) will likely be joining Randle on the sidelines tomorrow, which could allow Cheick Diallo to draw the start, and there will be more minutes available for Darius Miller and Solomon Hill.
