Myles Turner (sore right calf) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Cavs.

Turner has been dealing with a sore right knee lately, so it's unclear if this is a separate issue or related to that injury. He's been playing through the questionable tag lately but it's possible Indy will rest him at some point to let him fully recover. Check back for more details after shootaround. If Turner is ruled out, Domantas Sabonis should step into a bigger role.

Kemba Walker got it going after a tough start during a 120-88 win over the Magic on Friday night, scoring 26 points with two rebounds, five assists, one steal and five 3-pointers.

After his seven-trey Wednesday, he tied Ray Allen for the most 3-pointers to start a season with 12, and Walker only had two points in the first before he busted out for 24 in the second and third quarters. Plus, all the stats are saying he has an All-Star season in the making. On the 11-game Wednesday, Walker led all players in touch time, passes received, drives to the basket, and he had a 35 usage rate. If you drafted Kemba in the second round, things are looking great in this new offense.

Updating a previous item, J.R. Smith (elbow) is available to play against the Wolves on Friday, but he is not expected to play.

The lineup sheet had him as inactive, but it was apparently wrong. This doesn't mean he'll necessarily play after missing the opener, but downgrade Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson for now.
Oct 19 - 7:49 PM

JaMychal Green (left knee soreness) is starting on Friday vs. the Hawks.

He was listed as probable on the previous injury report, and he also battled through a shoulder tweak earlier in the week. Green may not be 100 percent and Jaren Jackson Jr. is going to push for his minutes, but he's in a great spot to produce tonight against one of the worst teams in the NBA.
Oct 19 - 7:48 PM

Marc Gasol (back) will start on Friday night against the Hawks.

He was a game-time call and apparently everything in warmups went well today. Gasol could be less than 100 percent and the early-season injury will be something to keep an eye on. For now, Jaren Jackson Jr. should still be viewed as a player who should trend up in the near future.
Oct 19 - 7:43 PM

De'Aaron Fox, Yogi Ferrell, Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica and Willie Cauley-Stein will start against the Pelicans on Friday.

It's the Kings listing starters and they're about as reliable as cell service on a desert island. This is the group that started in the opener, so maybe they will go with it. Maybe they won't. Bjelica did play well with 18 points in the opener, so he could be a nice short-term add.
Oct 19 - 7:23 PM

D'Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert, Joe Harris, Jared Dudley and Jarrett Allen will start against the Knicks on Friday.

It's the same lineup and the Nets will bring Allen Crabbe of the bench in his return. Harris is likely going to lose some minutes with Crabbe back, but Caris LeVert will be getting a full workload again.
Oct 19 - 7:03 PM

Russell Westbrook (knee) has been ruled out for Friday against the Clippers.

He was listed as out, but the team left a small window open that he would make his debut. However, Westbrook has done mostly controlled contact in practice and this is his fourth right knee surgery he's recovering from, so he should miss additional time. Dennis Schroder is almost a must-start option in DFS while Paul George should be firing away all game with what should be a usage rate close to 35 -- it was 35 in the second half on Tuesday.
Oct 19 - 6:40 PM

Larry Nance (ankle) will not play against the Wolves on Friday.

His ankle sprain last week didn't sound minor and now it'll cost him at least one week. With Nance out, that should mean Kevin Love will play more center, which could open up a few minutes for Sam Dekker, Ante Zizic and the guards.
Oct 19 - 6:35 PM

Serge Ibaka will replace Jonas Valanciunas in the starting lineup on Friday vs. Boston.

Toronto's lineups will be fluid based on matchups, and coach Nick Nurse has been pretty transparent about it so far. Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard and Paskal Siakam are the other four starters. Ibaka is a low-end to mid-tier play in a tough matchup vs. Al Horford.
Oct 19 - 6:21 PM

Marc Gasol (back) will be a game-time decision against the Hawks on Friday.

Hopefully the Grizzlies aren't tanking before Halloween, but Gasol did look hobbled on Wednesday and he's at age 33. This is probably a discouraging sign for anyone who grabbed him in the first four rounds, but maybe he can shake it off. If he can't go, we could get a very long look at Jaren Jackson Jr., who looked great on Wednesday and should get over 30 minutes. JJJ could trend up in a hurry.
Oct 19 - 6:19 PM

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will play on Friday against the Nets.

Robinson appeared in the Knicks season opener, but only played two minutes before exiting. They dominated and were up big in the second half, so it looks like they were just being cautious with their rookie center. Hopefully he sees more playing time on Friday. For now, he's just a stash in deeper leagues.
