Caris LeVert (left groin strain) will not play Wednesday vs. Minnesota, according to Adrian Wojnarowski‏ of ESPN.

This will be the first game of the season LeVert has missed. It's unfortunate timing, as LeVert has been on fire recently. He was averaging 16.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists over the Nets last four games. Allen Crabbe, Joe Harris, and Nik Stauskas will likely divvy up excess minutes with LeVert out of the lineup.

The Pacers announced Victor Oladipo (knee) suffered a "serious injury" to his right knee, and he will have an MRI on Thursday.

The team confirms what looked to be the case when the All-Star guard was taken off on a stretcher in the first half on Wednesday. Unfortunately, this sounds like a season-ending injury after a true breakout season in 2017-18. His fantasy owners will want to wait until Thursday before making a move, and adding Tyreke Evans makes sense in standard leagues. Aaron Holiday and Cory Joseph could be worth a look in deeper formats.
Jan 23 - 8:37 PM

Isaiah Briscoe suffered a sprained right ankle during the first quarter Wednesday at Brooklyn and will not return.

He had locked down the backup PG role, so the Magic will have to go back to Jerian Grant or Jonathon Simmons. Briscoe could emerge as a late-season stash in deep leagues, so hopefully he won't be out for long.
Jan 23 - 8:18 PM

Victor Oladipo (right leg) was stretched to the locker room in the first half on Wednesday.

Not good. His right leg gave out on him, and the training staff covered his leg with a towel seconds after they tended to him. This looks to be a bad injury for the reigning Most Improved Player with his teammates surrounding him after he was taken off the floor. Hopefully, he won't be out for too long, but unfortunately he's likely looking at several games on the sidelines considering he had problems with this knee earlier this season. Tyreke Evans is a speculative add standard leagues while Aaron Holiday could be worth a look in very deep formats and Cory Joseph could be worth a look in 16-team leagues.
Jan 23 - 7:59 PM

Joel Embiid (back tightness) will play on Wednesday.

The Sixers continue to make Embiid a game-time decision in the truest sense of the word, announcing his status literally minutes before tip-off. Get him into all active lineups.
Jan 23 - 7:56 PM

Jeff Teague (foot) is questionable for Thursday against the Lakers.

He said he was unable to run on Tuesday, so presumably he is not going to be able to play. The Wolves are also on a back-to-back set and Derrick Rose also said he's not 100 percent, so there will be some minutes for Josh Okogie and Jerryd Bayless while Teague is out.
Jan 23 - 7:44 PM

Damian Lillard (right hand contusion) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns.

Lillard has been playing through the hand issue over the past few games, and while he tends to play through his injuries, it wouldn't be shocking to see him take the night off against the worst team out West. Owners can expect to get another update by Thursday afternoon, but if he sits, C.J. McCollum would make for a very attractive DFS target. Stay tuned.
Jan 23 - 7:43 PM

Andre Drummond (concussion) will not play Wednesday against the Pelicans.

The Pelicans were expecting him to play, but they catch a break with Zaza Pachulia moving into the starting lineup. Drummond does sound like he's getting close and he did go through shootaround, and could return this weekend. Blake Griffin will be super busy while Jon Leuer and Stanley Johnson should play more.
Jan 23 - 7:20 PM

Lance Thomas will start at power forward with Noah Vonleh starting at center against the Rockets on Wednesday.

It's not a total surprise against the 3-point happy squad, but Enes Kanter probably doesn't like this news. Thomas can remain on waivers while the odds of Kanter getting traded just went up.
Jan 23 - 7:13 PM

Tyler Johnson will start Wednesday's game in place of Rodney McGruder.

McGruder played only eight minutes in Miami's last game and Johnson has been effectively lately, so this change isn't all too surprising. It makes Johnson a bit more appealing as a DFS play and low-end season-long guard, but that's about it.
Jan 23 - 6:51 PM

James Johnson (illness) is in starting lineup against the Clippers on Wednesday.

He had a migraine issue, but the Heat will keep him in the lineup with some minor changes. Johnson may not be able to get to 24 minutes with coach Erik Spoelstra mixing it up so much with his bench. He is not worth owning in standard leagues.
Jan 23 - 6:50 PM

Kevin Huerter (neck) will not play Wednesday against the Bulls.

He was doubtful for this game and will miss his second straight outing. Huerter was starting to blossom as a starting wing, and perhaps his strong play is why the Hawks reportedly want to trade Taurean Prince or Kent Bazemore. Huerter should still be held in standard leagues while Prince and DeAndre Bembry benefit as solid owns in standard leagues.
