Anthony Davis (right ankle) said he is feeling "a lot better" but is uncertain if he will play Friday vs. Portland.

When asked how he was feeling and if he would be able to play this evening, Davis responded: "I'm feeling a lot better. We'll see when the time comes." Thus, it appears we are headed towards a game-time decision. If Davis is unable to play, Dante Cunningham would likely draw another start, with Cheick Diallo and Omer Asik seeing spot minutes off the bench.

LeBron James had 28 points, nine rebounds, 12 assists, a steal and four 3-pointers in Monday's 108-105 win over Dwyane Wade and the Heat.

LeBron and Wade were drafted in the 2003 draft and this should be the final NBA meeting of their career. They both played well, but the Lakers were able to beat the Heat. LeBron's having a tremendous season, the Lakers are sitting as the No. 5 seed in the West, and he's yet to miss a game this season. Carry on.
Dec 11 - 1:59 AM

Richaun Holmes scored a season-high 19 points before fouling out in 25 minutes vs. the Clippers on Monday.

Deandre Ayton played 28 minutes with five fouls of his own in the overtime loss. Holmes was a +7 and shot 7-of-9 from the field and 5-of-7 from the line with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks. He's still playing exclusively at center which limits his upside behind Phoenix's franchise center, but he's been a per-minute monster and has been returning top-70 value in 9-category leagues over the past two weeks. If the Suns ever use him alongside Ayton, look out.
Dec 11 - 1:49 AM

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 31 points (11-of-15 FG, 8-of-12 FT) with 11 rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes Monday against the Warriors.

After starting off slowly this season Towns has been much-improved since Jimmy Butler was traded to Philadelphia, averaging 22.5 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.9 steals in 33.8 minutes per game (not counting Monday's numbers). And during that stretch, the forward/center shot 51.2% from the field and 41.1% from three (on 4.3 attempts per game).
Dec 11 - 1:48 AM

Justise Winslow kept the fire burning on Monday, hitting 11-of-20 shots and 6-of-10 3-pointers for a season-high 28 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 38 minutes.

Winslow is one of the hottest players in the league right now, averaging 18.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.8 3-pointers on 53 percent shooting over his last five. It's impossible to say how long he'll keep it going, and Hassan Whiteside, Wayne Ellington and Tyler Johnson are all due back soon. Winslow's on fire right now, and owners should feel free to grab him and put him in their lineups, as the Heat still have three more games to play this week.
Dec 11 - 1:48 AM

Mikal Bridges scored a career-high 19 points vs. the Clippers in a 123-119 overtime loss on Monday, hitting 6-of-12 shots and 3-of-3 free throws.

With T.J. Warren getting ejected after 12 minutes and Jamal Crawford (knee) out, that helped the rookie play a career-high 39 minutes with three rebounds, three assists and four triples. He has solid all-around upside and his role should grow with the Suns expected to move on from Trevor Ariza in the near future, so he's a solid stash if you can live with some bumps in the road.
Dec 11 - 1:38 AM

Josh Jackson scored 18 points vs. the Clippers on Monday with a career-high eight assists, four rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in 31 minutes.

It was nice to see an efficient game for Jackson for a change, as he hit 8-of-15 shots with one turnover despite hitting 39.5% from the field with 2.5 turnovers per game entering Monday. His usage is way up without Devin Booker (hamstring) with 4.2 dimes per game over his last five, and even though he moved back to the bench tonight, he still played heavy minutes with T.J. Warren (ankle) ejected after just 12 minutes. The Suns play again on Tuesday in what will be a 3-game slate, so Jackson is worth a look as a streamer if you're looking for counting stats at the risk of your shooting percentages and turnovers.
Dec 11 - 1:30 AM

De'Anthony Melton made another start at point guard vs. the Clippers on Monday, scoring 13 points with a career-high eight assists, four rebounds, two steals and two turnovers in 36 minutes.

He was just 5-of-16 from the field and missed all four triples, but he was a +4 on the night and forced overtime with a step-back jumper with five seconds to go. Melton is averaging 13.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 triples in 27.5 minutes over his last four games. He's trending up and it makes you wonder why the Suns waited so long to give him an opportunity. It will be interesting to see if the Suns give him a shot next to Devin Booker (hamstring) when he eventually comes back, but there's enough upside here to warrant a pickup.
Dec 11 - 1:23 AM

Stephen Curry scored 38 points (12-of-23 FG, 7-of-7 FT) with seven rebounds, six assists, seven 3-pointers, two steals and one blocked shot in 35 minutes Monday against the Timberwolves.

Curry made seven of his 14 three-point attempts Monday night, and he's now scored 30 points or more in three of his five games since returning from a groin injury. During this stretch the two-time MVP is averaging 31.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, doing so on 51.0% shooting from the field and 51.8% from three (11.2 attempts per game).
Dec 11 - 1:05 AM

Mike Conley scored 19 points with six assists, one rebound, two steals and two triples in 32 minutes vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

He gave us quite a scare when he left the game testing his left Achilles (the same one that ruined his 2017-18 season), but he was only in the locker room for a few minutes before returning. Conley was already battling a swollen finger entering tonight's game and that is the reason he's shooting a combined 11-of-38 from the field over his last three games, but he certainly dodged a bullet tonight. He should be ready to roll for Wednesday vs. the Blazers.
Dec 11 - 12:50 AM

Nikola Jokic scored a game-high 27 points in a 105-99 win over the Grizzlies on Monday, adding 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one triple in 38 minutes.

That win snaps a two-game losing streak and brings the Nuggets to 8-2 over their last 10 games. Jokic is currently having one of his best stretches of the season and has been the 8th best player in 9-category leagues over his last five games with 20.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 9.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.2 turnovers. This is who he is and there's no reason why he can't sustain it.
Dec 11 - 12:44 AM

Monte Morris matched his career-high with 20 points vs. the Grizzlies on Monday, hitting 8-of-12 shots and 4-of-5 triples.

He was a +14 in the six-point win, adding six rebounds, five assists and one steal with just one turnover. Morris played 16 minutes alongside Jamal Murray compared to his season average of 11.6, as coach Malone simply couldn't take him off the floor. His fantasy owners will have to deal with the eventual returns of Will Barton and Isaiah Thomas, but we will cross that bridge when it gets here. He's been one of the best backup PGs in the NBA and is worth owning in standard leagues.
