Brandon Ingram (mild left ankle sprain) will not return to Saturday's game against the Mavericks.

Ingram tweaked his ankle during the first quarter and tried to play through it after getting his ankle re-taped in the locker room, but after a second trip to the locker room the Lakers ruled him out for the remainder of the game. He'll end his evening with four points, six boards, five dimes in 14 minutes, and for now, we'll be considering him questionable for Monday's game in Memphis. His absence would translate to more minutes for Kyle Kuzma, Larry Nance and Julius Randle. Stay tuned.

Trae Young scored 20 points with nine assists, two rebounds, one steal, one block and four triples in 33 minutes vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

He was hot in the first half with 16 of his 20 points, but fatigue set in during the second half with Young and Taurean Prince carrying the load for the Hawks. He had three turnovers and was 7-of-18 from the field, and through two games we have a pretty good idea what Young is going to bring to the table as a rookie -- he'll be a great source of points, dimes and triples, but he will hurt you with FG% and turnovers.
Oct 20 - 12:52 AM

Taurean Prince went off vs. the Grizzlies on Friday with 28 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and four 3-pointers.

Prince was feeling it, hitting 10-of-15 shots, 4-of-9 triples and 4-of-4 free throws. The scary part is that this line could've been way bigger, as foul trouble and the lopsided score limited him to 23 minutes. Prince has a 29.5 usage rate through the first two games (up from 22.1% in 2017-18), so if the start of the season is an indication, he could crush his ADP for the second straight year.
Oct 20 - 12:47 AM

Cedi Osman scored a career-high 22 points with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes during a 131-123 loss to the Wolves on Friday.

After a head-turning start on Wednesday, this Cedi didn't turn to the dark side of the stat sheet with career-highs in points, treys and dimes as he continues to lock down his role as the go-to small forward. Apparently, working out with Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and LeBron James is a strong indicator of big things coming. Osman needs to be owned in all leagues.
Oct 20 - 12:43 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo did his thing on Friday, scoring 26 points (12-of-23 FGs) with 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block in 32 minutes against the Pacers.

In what was another dominant outing for Giannis, there were some bad things. He missed all seven of his 3-pointers (0-of-10 for the season) and turned the ball over six times (14 total in two games). This is obviously nitpicking, but if he's able to improve in those two areas, look out. He's well on his way to being in the MVP conversation.
Oct 20 - 12:37 AM

Khris Middleton was on fire from deep, hitting 5-of-7 3-pointers for 23 points with four rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 31 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.

Middleton might play second fiddle to Giannis, but he's still a fantasy stud. He'll help you across the board and might be in for a career year in scoring and 3-pointers with the Bucks' emphasis on pace and shooting this year. He'll be a great DFS option throughout the season.
Oct 20 - 12:36 AM

Eric Bledsoe was active Friday, scoring 12 points (5-of-9 FGs) with six rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks, and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Pacers.

Bledsoe was a popular pick after the first two or three rounds and he is off to a great start towards over-performing that position. He turned it on towards the end of last season after finally settling in with the Bucks and should be even better in the Bucks new offensive system. He's a great DFS option due to his statistical versatility.
Oct 20 - 12:36 AM

Garrett Temple came out of nowhere to score 30 points vs. the Hawks on Friday, adding four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Yes, you read that correctly. Temple shot an absurd 10-of-11 from the field and was a +37 on the night. Usually a low-usage player with a defensive mindset, Temple doesn't have many big games on his resume and this has fluke written all over it. As long as he's starting, he'll have some appeal as a source of 3-pointers and steals.
Oct 20 - 12:36 AM

Draymond Green tweaked his ankle on Friday vs. the Jazz and went back to the locker room.

There's no word on the severity but he did have a noticeable limp. Hopefully he's just getting re-taped because we haven't heard anything from the reporters or Warriors PR yet. Stay tuned.
Oct 20 - 12:29 AM

Jaren Jackson Jr. exploded in his Grizzlies' home debut, scoring 24 points (8-of-12 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs) with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and two triples in 28 minutes in Friday's 131-117 win over the Hawks.

JaMychal Green left this game early to get some dental work, but JJJ was well on his way to a big night before that. He was getting easy looks in the post and stretching the floor, and he's still logging minutes next to both Green and Marc Gasol in a three-big rotation. This was a cupcake matchup, but JJJ has showcased his immense upside through two games as an elite shot-blocker with a solid 3-point shot and shooting percentages.
Oct 19 - 11:53 PM

Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, three steal and two 3-pointers in a 113-101 win over the Celtics on Friday.

The MVP chants were out in Toronto and Kawhi said after the game that he appreciated them. After the opener, coach Nick Nurse said he wanted to try to dial back Leonard's minutes at some spots, but he followed up a 37-minute Wednesday with 36 during this big win. Leonard still hasn't hit his stride overall, but his 33.7 usage rate is a very big number for a guy who made his money on efficiency. If Leonard is healthy, he'll be a fantasy monster.
Oct 19 - 11:52 PM

Myles Turner wasn't great on Friday, scoring 11 points (5-of-13 shooting) with just four rebounds, and one block in 27 minutes against the Bucks.

Turner struggled with his shot on Friday and missed all of his 3-pointers (0-of-4). The four rebounds is a little concerning, but he did register eight on Wednesday. Domantas Sabonis had another nice game off the bench, notching his second double-double in as many games. The Pacers are committed to Turner, as shown by his recent contract extension, and he's still poised for a bounce back campaign. He'll be fine.
