Manu Ginobili went to the locker room and took a trainer with him mid-way through the third quarter on Tuesday due to pain in his right foot and is having X-rays.

He won't return to the game and it was a non-contact injury, according to Caron Butler's report from the sidelines. He had eight points in 14 minutes before leaving, but is clearly more valuable to the Spurs than fantasy owners. Danny Green, Bryn Forbes, Tony Parker and a host of Spurs wings would see a boost if Ginobili's injury turns out to be serious, but he plays so few minutes there probably isn't a must-pickup either way.

Kevin Love (head) has been ruled out for the rest of the game on Friday.

He is being evaluated from a concussion and has been out since the middle of the first quarter. Love had a concussion back in March, had another one back in the 2016 NBA Finals, and has a history beyond that, too. Luckily for the Cavs tonight, Jeff Green and Larry Nance have stepped up. That'll continue tonight while Love is questionable to play on Sunday.
May 25 - 9:44 PM

Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Aron Baynes and Al Horford will start again on Friday against the Cavs.

This time, coach Ty Lue should be expecting Semi Ojeleye to be on the bench. Kidding aside, Lue also gave credit to coach Brad Stevens for the Baynes move, which helped out Horford in Game 5. Marcus Morris is still going to see minutes in the up 30 and will be the main defender on LeBron James.

Coach Mike D'Antoni says that Eric Gordon will start Game 6 against the Warriors on Saturday.

With Chris Paul being out due to a right hamstring strain, it's no surprise Gordon will get the start here. It's Gordon's first start of the playoffs and the Rockets will need him to step up to replace how well CP3 has played over the last couple of games. Paul's status going forward is still uncertain, so Gordon could also start on Monday in Game 7 if the Warriors win Game 6 on Saturday.

Chris Paul will not play in Game 6 on Saturday against Golden State due to a right hamstring strain.

CP3 tweaked his right hamstring late in the fourth quarter of Game 5 on Thursday. He'll be re-evaluated again once the team returns to Houston, but this is not the news that the Rockets wanted to hear. Eric Gordon will have to step up on the offensive end in a major way, which he's shown he can do. This season when Paul and James Harden were sitting, Gordon averaged 34.6 points and 6.5 assists per 40 minutes. He played 36 minutes in Game 5, his most of this postseason. Expect somewhere around there again in Game 6.
May 25 - 12:25 PM

James Harden struggled in a 98-94 victory over the Warriors in Game 5, making 5-of-21 from the field for 19 points with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and six turnovers in 39 minutes.

It was an absolutely brutal game and now Harden has missed 20 treys in a row, including 11 misses tonight to tie him with John Starks in 1994 for most 3-point attempts without a make in a playoff game. Harden is going to have to play better in the rest of this series because of Chris Paul (hamstring) likely being limited or out. He may also have to see more Andre Iguodala (leg). Even though the Rockets have a 3-2 lead, you could argue they're the underdogs to win this series unless we get good news on CP3.
May 25 - 12:06 AM

Eric Gordon scored 24 points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

He made some big plays on both ends late in this game. Moving forward, coach Mike D'Antoni said Gordon could be looking at a play-making role while Chris Paul (hamstring) is out. Nothing is official yet on CP3, but for now we're expecting Gordon to post huge numbers in 36-42 minutes in Game 6 on Saturday.
May 24 - 11:58 PM

P.J. Tucker scored eight points with nine rebounds and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

He was the key piece on defense with strong play on the perimeter and around the basket. Before the game, coach Mike D'Antoni said he wanted to dial back Tucker's minutes, but that didn't happen too much after his 44-minute Tuesday. He'll be playing a ton on Saturday and could get more shots if Chris Paul (hamstring) is banged up.
May 24 - 11:55 PM

Kevin Durant scored 29 points with four rebounds, one block and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes during a 98-94 loss to the Rockets in Game 5 on Thursday.

Again, the passing wasn't there with 18 dimes tonight and 14 in Game 4 -- they averaged 29.3 per game in the regular season. Coach Steve Kerr was getting on his guys to cut and Kerr said after the game that his offense was better today than Tuesday. Kerr also told KD to "trust these guys" during a timeout, but afterwards said throwing the ball to KD is a good option. Isolation ball has been a big part of the GS struggles, and KD was really struggling to get good shots late. Besides that, turnovers were costly with 16, including a team-high six from Draymond Green. This is hardly the Warriors team we saw in the playoffs last year.

Klay Thompson scored 23 points with four rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers in 43 minutes against the Rockets in a Game 5 loss on Thursday.

He was off in the first with just seven points, but Thompson was defending well and looked healthy. He was doing a little more offensively than usual, and that may have to continue because of how the Rockets seem to have figured out the GSW offense.
May 24 - 11:36 PM

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney will start again for Thursday's Game 5.

Coach Steve Kerr doesn't hit the panic button and will roll with this unit again. It did not work out for the Warriors in Game 4 and burned them in the fourth, but Looney is the most familiar among the available players with the four All-Stars with his 40 minutes in that five-man unit during this series. Kerr did hint he'll tweak his rotation, so we could see more Jordan Bell or even Quinn Cook over Nick Young.
May 24 - 8:41 PM

Andre Iguodala (leg) has been ruled out for Game 5 against the Rockets on Thursday.

He gets ruled out before warmups, which is potentially bad news for Game 6, as well. The Warriors are really short on wings and they may have to roll with Shaun Livingston and Nick Young to help more. Plus, we'll almost certainly see Jordan Bell, who may get 20 minutes. Kevon Looney figures to start and get minutes in the 20s, but coach Steve Kerr could change that.
