Latest Headlines

Devin Booker (hip) is in the starting lineup against the Jazz on Wednesday.

He went through his pre-game routine and everything apparently went well. Booker has dealt with two upper-body injuries lately and he's said it's been an adjustment for him. He and Elfrid Payton will likely be staggered and the Suns are still expected to use Booker at PG.
Feb 14 - 8:17 PM

Marcus Morris (illness) will not play vs. the Bulls on Wednesday.

It's a big loss for the Celtics second unit with Morris being one of the most efficient players on the team, but they are playing the Bulls. Morris has played 25.8 minutes per game on the season and he should be considered questionable for Friday against the Raptors. With him out tonight, coach Brad Stevens could have Semi Ojeleye fill in to be the 10th man in the rotation or he could extend Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris and Terry Rozier a little more.
Nov 14 - 4:38 PM

Stephen Curry (groin) will miss at least the next five games and will be re-evaluated in 10 days.

He will travel with the Warriors for Thursday's game against the Rockets, but this injury will now cost him at least 2.5 weeks. Curry is traveling with the team is interesting because of the drama between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant, and Curry was not in Los Angeles for the loss against the Clippers. While he's out, Quinn Cook will continue to start and should have value until Thanksgiving and possibly beyond.
Nov 14 - 4:11 PM

Elfrid Payton (right ankle) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with the Timberwolves.

Payton has spent the past eight games on the sidelines, so if he is able to get out there tonight, he'll be dealing with a minutes limit. Payton was able to go through shootaround, but the Pelicans want him to test his ankle again during his pregame routine before an official decision is made. He'd likely start if he plays, which would result in Wes Johnson returning to the second unit. Stay tuned.
Nov 14 - 2:44 PM

Nikola Mirotic (ankle) will play Wednesday vs. the Timberwolves.

He only missed two games with the ankle issue, so he shouldn't be dealing with any sort of minutes restrictions tonight. With Mirotic back, Julius Randle will likely return to the second unit, and E'Twaun Moore's usage will take a bit of a hit. Go ahead and get him active.
Nov 14 - 2:07 PM

Russell Westbrook (ankle) participated at Wednesday's shootaround.

Westbrook is currently being listed as "out" for tonight's game, but Paul George implied that he could play during his media availability, and Thunder reporter Brett Dawson is saying that Westbrook will be "evaluated" later today. It sounds like there's a chance Russ could take the floor tonight, so owners will want to check back for another update closer to tip-off.
Nov 14 - 12:49 PM

Robert Covington and Dario Saric will make their Timberwolves debuts on Wednesday vs. the Pelicans.

Tom Thibodeau wouldn't say whether or not they'd start, and considering they haven't had any time to practice, they could come off the bench as they familiarize themselves with Thibodeau's concepts. RoCo is more or less a lock to start once he's up to speed, but Saric's starting status is more of a mystery given Thibs' devotion to Taj Gibson.
Nov 14 - 12:15 PM

Kevin Knox will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, sending Damyean Dotson back to the bench.

Knox has scored 17 points in his past two outings (although inefficiently), and he'll look to keep that streak going on Wednesday. Maybe he can flirt with minutes in the 30s tonight, but to this point, Knox isn't doing much for you outside of scoring. He's a more attractive guy to own in points settings. Dotson had a nice run while Knox was out, but he's trending towards irrelevancy with the move to the bench.
Nov 14 - 12:08 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay will replace Frank Nitlikina in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

It looks like David Fizdale might be mixing and matching his starting lineup all year long, with the point guard position being the most volatile. This will be the first start of the year for Mudiay, but he really can't be viewed as anything more than a punt play in DFS. Ntilikina has been too inconsistent to trust in standard 12-team leagues.
Nov 14 - 12:03 PM

Derrick Jones Jr. (illness) did not participate at shootaround and is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Nets.

Jones Jr. will likely be a game-time call tonight, but whether he plays or not won't have any dramatic consequences in fantasy hoops, as he's an inconsistent part of the rotation. Maybe Justise Winslow will see a slight uptick in minutes if Airplane Mode sits, but that's about it.
Nov 14 - 11:52 AM

Markelle Fultz will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

With Philly adding another non-shooter to their starting lineup in Jimmy Butler, Fultz probably won't be back in the starting lineup again this season, as J.J. Redick makes much more sense with that starting group. Fultz's value will likely plummet with the arrival of Buckets, so at this point, he's simply not worth owning in most leagues.
Nov 14 - 11:40 AM

Jimmy Butler will be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Butler will be making his 76ers debut tonight, and he'll be joined in the starting lineup by Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Wilson Chandler and Joel Embiid. The arrival of Buckets pretty much crushed any hopes of Markelle Fultz turning things around this season.
