An MRI on Anthony Davis (ankle) revealed a sprain and he is doubtful to play on Friday against the Wizards.

The MRI was negative for any ligament damage, and he's only day-to-day. This is good news for the Pelicans after AD rolled his ankle as he stepped on Kosta Koufos' foot and he was unable to return on Wednesday. The Pelicans have a huge game coming up against the Jazz on Sunday, so the team may choose to be careful on Friday. If he's out, we'll see more Darius Miller, Emeka Okafor, Ian Clark and Cheick Diallo. Jrue Holiday and Nikola Mirotic will get more shots, too.
Mar 8 - 5:34 PM

Tyreke Evans (knee) will be a game-time call for Tuesday's matchup with the Cavs.

Evans was limited at Monday's practice, which isn't a great sign regarding his status for tomorrow's game. If he's out again, Cory Joseph and Aaron Holiday will see some increased minutes with the second unit, with Joseph being the preferable target. Check back for another update following Tuesday's shootaround.
Dec 17 - 3:11 PM

Kyle Anderson (left ankle sprain) is expected to play on Monday vs. the Warriors.

He was previously considered questionable after sitting out on Saturday vs. the Rockets. Anderson is averaging 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals through eight December games. Jevon Carter was outstanding on Saturday with some impressive defense, so the Grizzlies may find a way to keep the rookie involved even with Anderson expected back.
Dec 17 - 2:27 PM

Andre Iguodala (hip) has been cleared to play on Monday vs. the Grizzlies.

He's been out for three straight games and already has five DNPs to his name this season. There's no word of any restrictions, but there's not much fantasy appeal here with season averages of 4.8 points, 3.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.6 triples in 23.4 minutes. Alfonzo McKinnie will lose a few minutes with Iggy back, but he wasn't a fantasy asset anyways.
Dec 17 - 2:16 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Nuggets.

The Mavericks do play three more times this week after Tuesday, but a doubtful tag the day before a game is never a good sign. J.J. Barea (ankle) is questionable, so Jalen Brunson could have some sneaky low-end value this week and just scored 12 points with four rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes in his last outing.
Dec 17 - 2:08 PM

Ersan Ilyasova has been ruled out of Monday's game vs. the Pistons with a nose contusion.

This comes out of nowhere and we're learning about this via the official NBA injury report. Ilyasova is not worth owning in most leagues anyways. With Ersan out, it's possible the Bucks give Thon Maker a few minutes at the four, but Jason Smith is also an option.
Dec 17 - 1:57 PM

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is listed as out for Monday's game vs. the Suns.

He was scheduled to be re-evaluated on Monday, but he said his ankle is still bothering him and he had a walking boot on Sunday. Luke Kornet will take Robinson's minutes behind Enes Kanter tonight, but isn't a reliable fantasy option on an 8-game slate with workloads of 8, 24 and 9 minutes in his last three outings.
Dec 17 - 1:50 PM

Khris Middleton (right pinkie) and Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) are both available for Monday's game vs. the Pistons.

They were listed as probable on the previous injury report after missing Friday's game, so no surprises here. Middleton will look to break out of his brutal slump tonight, while Tony Snell and Pat Connaughton will head back to the bench and irrelevancy.
Dec 17 - 1:45 PM

Jabari Parker (illness) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Thunder.

This really doesn't even matter since Parker is out of the rotation. It's no secret that the Bulls are shopping the forward and the most recent report comes from Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer who said the Jazz are interested. His days as a Bull are numbered.
Dec 17 - 12:57 PM

Jeff Teague is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Kings with left ankle inflammation.

He's been slumping lately with 8.0 points on 30% shooting over his last five, but has kept his value afloat with 11.6 dimes in that span. Teague has a long history of ankle issues, but it sounds like this will be a day-to-day thing. Derrick Rose has scored 20+ points in three straight games and would likely draw the start if Teague can't go with Tyus Jones pickup up a handful of minutes.

Kelly Oubre (trade) will not play on Monday vs. the Knicks, but will join the Suns in time for Wednesday's game vs. Boston.

The trade is official, but the debuts of Oubre and Austin Rivers will have to wait. The Suns are deep on the wings with Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Josh Jackson, and T.J. Warren, but the Suns can always use smaller fours or deploy Booker at PG for stretches. Oubre is a hold in standard leagues while we see how this plays out.
Dec 17 - 12:08 PM

Khris Middleton (right pinkie) and Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) are both listed as probable for Monday's game vs. Detroit.

Both players missed Friday's game with minor injuries, but having Saturday and Sunday off obviously helped. Middleton has been in an awful slump in December, hitting 27.9% of his shots from the field. Maybe the finger injury is the reason, but owners in season-long leagues have no choice but to deploy him and hope that he finds his rhythm again because he's a top-25 fantasy talent when he's rolling. Tony Snell and Pat Connaughton will head back to the bench if both Middleton and Brogdon are cleared.
