Tyreke Evans (right rib) is out for Friday against the Jazz.

He's been out since the first game since the break and the Grizzlies continue to rule him out early. Clearly, they're not in a rush to bring him back with their 15-game losing streak helping them rise to the top lottery spot. It'll be Kobi Simmons likely getting another start next to Ben McLemore with Xavier Rathan-Mayes and Wayne Selden also getting some extra run. All of those guys could be worth using in fantasy with a back-to-back set coming up.

Jabari Parker (illness) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Thunder.

This really doesn't even matter since Parker is out of the rotation. It's no secret that the Bulls are shopping the forward and the most recent report comes from Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer who said the Jazz are interested. His days as a Bull are numbered.
Dec 17 - 12:57 PM

Jeff Teague is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Kings with left ankle inflammation.

He's been slumping lately with 8.0 points on 30% shooting over his last five, but has kept his value afloat with 11.6 dimes in that span. Teague has a long history of ankle issues, but it sounds like this will be a day-to-day thing. Derrick Rose has scored 20+ points in three straight games and would likely draw the start if Teague can't go with Tyus Jones pickup up a handful of minutes.

Kelly Oubre (trade) will not play on Monday vs. the Knicks, but will join the Suns in time for Wednesday's game vs. Boston.

The trade is official, but the debuts of Oubre and Austin Rivers will have to wait. The Suns are deep on the wings with Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Josh Jackson, and T.J. Warren, but the Suns can always use smaller fours or deploy Booker at PG for stretches. Oubre is a hold in standard leagues while we see how this plays out.
Dec 17 - 12:08 PM

Khris Middleton (right pinkie) and Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) are both listed as probable for Monday's game vs. Detroit.

Both players missed Friday's game with minor injuries, but having Saturday and Sunday off obviously helped. Middleton has been in an awful slump in December, hitting 27.9% of his shots from the field. Maybe the finger injury is the reason, but owners in season-long leagues have no choice but to deploy him and hope that he finds his rhythm again because he's a top-25 fantasy talent when he's rolling. Tony Snell and Pat Connaughton will head back to the bench if both Middleton and Brogdon are cleared.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Jazz are interested in acquiring Jabari Parker.

O'Connor notes that the Jazz are desperate for offense, as they are currently ranked 23rd in offensive rating. Defense is Parker's biggest weakness, but perhaps playing next to Rudy Gobert would make it less obvious. It would be a low-risk move for the Jazz since Parker's contract isn't guaranteed for 2019-20, and this would be a way for the Jazz to dump Derrick Favors who also has a non-guaranteed contract for next season -- he isn't eligible to traded until January 15th, though.

Delon Wright scored a season-high 15 points as a fill-in starter on Sunday, making 6-of-12 FGs and 3-of-3 FTs with eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 38 minutes.

Kyle Lowry (bruised left thigh) and Fred VanVleet (back) were both sidelined tonight, so Wright got the start and made the most of his opportunity. The Raptors' next game is at home on Wednesday but Wright isn't a great hold since Lowry and VanVleet are both day-to-day. Just keep this performance in mind if those guys do miss more games.
Dec 16 - 11:07 PM

Luka Doncic finished Sunday's home loss with 28 points, nine assists, six rebounds and one steal, making 9-of-15 field goals and 9-of-14 free throws.

Prior to the game, Kings coach Dave Joerger said to reporters, "Perhaps there was an idea that there was a ceiling on [Doncic]. I don't see it, unfortunately for us." Sacramento drafted Marvin Bagley III one spot ahead of Doncic this summer, of course, but this sounds like more of a shot at the Kings' front office than a knock on Bagley (who was out tonight with a knee injury). In any case, the entire league is well aware that Doncic is a star in the making -- and if he can reduce his turnovers (3.5) and improve his efficiency (42.8% field goals), the sky is the limit for fantasy value.
Dec 16 - 10:32 PM

DeAndre Jordan hauled in a season-high-tying 23 rebounds with eight points, three assists and three blocks in 30 minutes on Sunday.

DJ has 20+ boards in four games this season and he ranks second in the NBA with 13.6 boards per game, trailing only Anthony Davis (15.6). He's handing out a career-high 2.1 assists while shooting a (relatively) fantastic 74.8% at the FT line, which compensates for his modest 1.0 blocks per game. Who says you can't teach an 11-year veteran new tricks?
Dec 16 - 10:27 PM

E'Twaun Moore played through his leg injury and hit 4-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 35 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Heat.

He returned from a two-game absence and looked healthy, although his line wasn't too eye popping. He's lost his starting job for the time being to Solomon Hill and really hasn't done much since he scored 30 points on Nov. 21, which capped off hot, seven-game stretch for Moore. If goes on another heater, feel free to use him, but he hasn't been worth the headache in about a month.
Dec 16 - 10:22 PM

Buddy Hield made 12-of-23 shots with three 3-pointers to score 28 points during Sunday's road win in Dallas.

Hield added four rebounds and two assists in 39 minutes tonight, and fell just two points shy of his career high. He's quietly been a terrific value for owners with 18.9 points, 2.8 triples, 5.2 boards, 2.5 assists and strong percentages. He was plagued by slow starts his first few seasons in the league, but isn't wasting time for the playoff-hungry Kings this year.
Dec 16 - 10:13 PM

Nemanja Bjelica blocked a career-high four shots on Sunday, adding 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting, 10 rebounds, four 3-pointers and one assist in 35 minutes.

Marvin Bagley (left knee bone bruise) will be re-evaluated in 10-14 days, which opens up about 24 minutes per game in the frontcourt. Bjelica is an obvious winner and this is only the second time he's logged 30+ minutes since October. He's already owned in most formats, especially with his strong play the previous two games, but it can't hurt to double-check the wire.
