Evan Fournier (knee) has a sprained left MCL and will not play Friday night in Sacramento.

He suffered the injury on Wednesday and did not return. The severity of the injury isn't known, and it's possible he's only day-to-day. Although, the Magic sit in the No. 4 spot in the lottery and chances are they'll be bringing back Fournier slowly. Fantasy owners can consider dropping him in certain situations, assuming they need him for the next week or so and don't have an IR spot. With him out, it'll be Jonathon Simmons, Mario Hezonja and Jonathan Isaac seeing more run, and are all worth a look depending on what you need. Wes Iwundu could be getting more minutes, but he's not a fantasy option.
Mar 8 - 6:28 PM

Kawhi Leonard (hip) will play on Friday night against the Blazers.

He missed the Tuesday-Wednesday B2B set, but there was never really much concern about his bruised hip. Leonard is going to miss games this year with minor issues, but he's been a top-five fantasy player when he's on the court. Get the well-rested Kawhi in your lineup.
Dec 14 - 8:39 PM

Andre Iguodala (hip) will not play vs. the Kings on Friday.

He was questionable to play, but coach Steve Kerr said Iguodala will hopefully play on Monday. With him out, Draymond Green may get his minutes extended while we see more Jonas Jerebeko, Jordan Bell, and Kevon Looney.
Dec 14 - 8:33 PM

Coach Mike Malone said the team will monitor Jamal Murray (shin) against the Thunder on Friday.

He'll be out there in a tough matchup, but he almost certainly won't be guarding Russell Westbrook. Malone said they're going to have a "big picture mindset" on Murray and they don't want to make it worse. He should be in all season-long lineups, but he's a risky DFS play.
Dec 14 - 8:30 PM

Mitchell Robinson (left ankle) will not return on Friday night.

He suffered the injury in the first half as his foot turned up against Frank Kaminsky. Robinson's ankle roll didn't look bad and X-rays are negative, so hopefully he can make it back for Sunday. We'll see more Noah Vonleh at the five while Enes Kanter gets a longer leash.
Dec 14 - 8:00 PM

Hassan Whiteside is back in the starting lineup against the Grizzlies on Friday.

He was away from the team for a week to be there for the birth of his son, and of course there was the talk of him leaving the bench early in the game before. Whiteside may not get a full workload after so much time off, but go ahead and put him back in your lineup. This will take minutes from Bam Adebayo and Kelly Olynyk.
Dec 14 - 7:21 PM

Mike Conley (hamstring) is available to play against the Heat on Friday.

He has said he's been careful with his hamstring and on Wednesday he didn't want to sprint 100%, so this could be something to watch. The Grizzlies are also on a back-to-back set with Houston in town tomorrow, so Conley could have a soft limit tonight.
Dec 14 - 7:19 PM

Otto Porter (knee) is out again for Friday against the Nets.

He still can't get right after being a game-time decision and sitting out on Wednesday. Porter's season has been an injury-filled letdown, and hopefully the time off for his knee can help his knee heal too. It'll be Jeff Green starting again after a surprising 22-point Wednesday while Kelly Oubre continues to play extremely will.
Dec 14 - 7:05 PM

Taj Gibson (personal) will not play Saturday against the Suns.

Hopefully everything is OK, but the Wolves shouldn't need him against the worst team in the league. This puts Dario Saric in a smash spot for DFS, and it should be Anthony Tolliver backing him up.
Dec 14 - 6:57 PM

Rodions Kurucs will get his first NBA start against the Wizards on Friday.

Allen Crabbe is not going to play due to a minor knee issue, so coach Kenny Atkinson will reward the rookie for his strong play. He'll be the youngest non-American to get a start for the Nets in franchise history, and he should have a shot at 24 minutes. He's coming off a strong 13-point, three-steal game on Wednesday, so he's an option as a DFS punt tonight. He's not a bad stream either.
Dec 14 - 6:52 PM

Eric Bledsoe, Pat Connaughton, Tony Snell, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez will start against the Cavs on Friday.

If you missed it, Khris Middleton (finger) and Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) are out for this one, but it doesn't sound like they'll be out for long. The Cavs are one of the best matchups in the NBA with the horrible defense, and Connaughton could see additional run in garbage time. He just got over a knee issue earlier this week, but he's a viable DFS punt today.
Dec 14 - 6:43 PM

Dwyane Wade (general soreness) is out for Friday against the Grizzlies.

General Soreness is back on duty and stationed in Memphis today after Miami's road trip is coming to a close. Wade played 32 minutes in the two games before getting blown out on Wednesday, so it's no surprise he's out here. Tyler Johnson should get his minutes extended while Wayne Ellington, Justise Winslow and Derrick Jones Jr. could play more.
