Steven Adams (left hip contusion) said he was unsure if he would be able to play Tuesday night vs. the Hawks.

Adams sprained his left ankle Saturday vs. San Antonio, but was cleared to play Monday night against the Kings. However, Adams was ruled out of Monday's game in the third quarter as a result of the hip injury. When asked after the game if he thought he would play Tuesday vs. Atlanta, Adams said: "We'll see." Considering it's a back-to-back and the Hawks are one of the league's worst teams, OKC may choose to err on the side of caution and sit Adams. Jerami Grant and Patrick Patterson would be the primary beneficiaries if Adams is unable to play.

Rajon Rondo (right hand) will miss at least the next two games for the Lakers.

Rondo needed to have his fractured right hand drained on Sunday after the Lakers' medical staff noticed some increased swelling, so the Lakers will "shut him down for a few days" before he's re-evaluated. It seems unlikely that we'll see Rondo take the floor this week, but maybe he'll be able to get out there towards the end of their upcoming four-game road trip.
Dec 10 - 4:44 PM

Hassan Whiteside (personal) may be able to return to the team in time for Wednesday's game in Utah.

Whiteside did not travel with the team as they began their six-game road trip on Friday to be there for the birth of his son, but his son was born on Sunday, so maybe he'll be able to get back to the team by Wednesday. He won't play tonight against the Lakers, though, which should result in another start for Bam Adebayo with Kelly Olynyk seeing an uptick in minutes.
Dec 10 - 4:39 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) went through some full-contact, 5-on-5 work with the Warriors' G-League team on Monday.

Cousins is inching his way closer towards a return, and if all goes well, he should make it back to the court "sometime after Christmas." Back-to-back sets will likely be an issue for him this season, and he'll assuredly be eased back into things with a strict minutes limit, so he could be a frustrating guy to own this season. Still, he's close enough that he should be stashed in most leagues at this point.
Dec 10 - 4:34 PM

Austin Rivers said he'll be in the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Pacers, with John Wall (heel) unavailable.

Rivers put up nine points, seven boards, seven assists, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in his previous start this season, so he could be someone to think about as a deep league streamer or DFS punt play tonight. Tomas Satoransky will also see some increased opportunity with Wall out, and Bradley Beal will be tasked with the heavy lifting on offense.
Dec 10 - 4:03 PM

Jamal Murray (shin, forearm) was able to get through shootaround, but he remains questionable to play Monday vs. the Grizzlies.

"He looked okay at shootaround," said Mike Malone. "I thought you could really see during the Atlanta game [on Saturday] that he was playing through a lot of pain out there. As much as we want to win every game, I think it's really important to take a long-term, big-picture approach at times." It sounds like Malone is leaning towards giving Murray the night off, which would likely translate to Monte Morris earning a start. Stay tuned.
Dec 10 - 3:38 PM

Josh Richardson (shoulder) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Lakers.

Goran Dragic and Wayne Ellington are available and Tyler Johnson (hip) is probable as well. Richardson's injury is very minor, and hopefully the rest will help him find his rhythm again since he shot less than 37% from the field in his last six games.
Dec 10 - 2:49 PM

Updating a previous report, Robert Covington (sore right knee) hasn't been cleared to play yet for Monday night vs. the Warriors.

Covington said earlier that he feels good enough to play and he was listed as probable, but coach Tom Thibodeau said he'll make a decision after warmups. If RoCo can't play, Josh Okogie should remain in the rotation after a solid showing vs. the Blazers on Saturday.
Dec 10 - 2:39 PM

Anthony Davis (right hip) is listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Celtics.

This comes from the official NBA injury report, but we know the drill here. He'll likely be re-evaluated after warmups and could be a game-time call. If he's active, he should feast against a Boston team that will likely be without Al Horford (knee, doubtful) and Aron Baynes (ankle, out).
Dec 10 - 1:39 PM

Blake Griffin will get a rest day vs. the 76ers on Monday.

This will be his first missed game of the season. He's averaging just under 36 minutes per game and just played 38 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Sunday night, so maybe he's a little banged up. With Griffin out, it will be fun to see if Andre Drummond runs some offense like he often did last season -- last season Drummond had a 13.0% assist percentage when Griffin was off the floor. With Griffin out, Jon Leuer is the next man up for Detroit and will have some low-end streaming appeal.
Dec 10 - 1:38 PM

The Suns are finalizing a deal for Eric Moreland according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The 26-year-old center has had stints with the Kings and Pistons and attended Toronto's training camp in September. He did show a lot of promise in Detroit for his rebounding and shot-blocking, so he will be a nice addition behind DeAndre Ayton and Richaun Holmes. He can be left on the wire.
Dec 10 - 1:29 PM

Bobby Portis (knee) and Kris Dunn (knee) will play on Monday vs. the Kings.

We haven't seen Portis since Oct. 24, and a lot has obviously changed since then. The Bulls are reeling and are in need of a spark, so maybe Portis can provide that off the bench. If he can find the form he had before the injury, Portis should take minutes away from Jabari Parker and could be worth deploying in standard leagues sooner rather than later.
