Ryan Anderson (hip) and Brandan Wright (knee) have been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers.

Mike D'Antoni did say that Anderson was close, and mentioned Saturday's game vs. New Orleans as a potential return date for the sharpshooter. Trevor Ariza, Luc Mbah a Moute and P.J. Tucker will continue to log extended minutes while Anderson and Wright are out, with Ariza offering the most upside. Wright belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.

Reggie Bullock (left ankle sprain) is now doubtful for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.

Bullock was originally listed as out, so him now being listed as doubtful is a positive sign. The Pistons play again on Monday, which could mark his return. Langston Galloway, Bruce Brown, and Luke Kennard will see more time in his absence.
Dec 9 - 2:22 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (right wrist) is doubtful for Monday's game against Orlando.

DSJ has been dealing some discomfort in his wrist and still isn't quite over it. He's likely to sit until it gets closer to 100% after he played through it and it got worse previously. Jalen Brunson, Luka Doncic, and Dorian Finney-Smith will all benefit from DJS sitting another game.
Dec 9 - 2:14 PM

Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) still isn't quite ready to return, when asked about his availability for Monday's game.

Dirk is getting very close to a return, but isn't ready to set an official date for his return. With Monday off the list, his next chance to return will be at home on Wednesday against the Hawks.
Dec 9 - 2:05 PM

George Hill and Jason Smith are both available to make their Bucks debut on Sunday against the Raptors.

All of the necessary red-tape has been completed and everyone from the Cavs-Bucks trade is available for their new team. Hill will be used off the bench and could be able to carve out some fantasy value in the prolific Bucks offense. Smith will be a bench piece and isn't on the fantasy radar.
Dec 9 - 1:42 PM

John Wall (heel) didn't practice on Sunday and his availability for Monday's game against Indiana is doubtful.

Wall said he probably shouldn't have played on Saturday because of issues with his heel, so it makes sense for him to sit out practice and, potentially, a few games to get right. Bradley Beal, Austin Rivers, and Tomas Satoransky would benefit from Wall missing Monday's game.
Dec 9 - 1:30 PM

Landry Shamet (sore lower back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Shamet missed practice on Sunday and seems to be more on the negative side of that designation. Backs can be tricky so the Sixers will probably take a cautious approach with their rookie wing. Furkan Korkmaz, T.J. McConnell and possibly Shake Milton will see more action if Shamet were to sit.
Dec 9 - 1:02 PM

Joel Embiid (migraine) didn't practice on Sunday ahead of Monday's game with Detroit.

Embiid sat out Friday's matchup with the Pistons for rest purposes, so missing practice isn't the worst thing as the team looks to get him as much as rest as possible. As of now, there's no reason to believe his status is in doubt for Monday's game, but he's listed as questionable. Mike Muscala would benefit the most from Embiid missing another game.
Dec 9 - 12:56 PM

Nikola Vucevic (ankle sprain) participated in non-contact portions of Sunday's practice despite his injury.

Vucevic hurt his ankle in Friday's game, but played through the injury. The fact that he was able to practice is a great sign for his availability on Monday and he looks to be on track to play. Check back before tip-off for official confirmation.
Dec 9 - 12:33 PM

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 19 points (6-of-16 FG, 5-of-6 FT) with ten rebounds, two assists, one steal, one blocked shot and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes Saturday against the Trail Blazers.

After going off for 35 points and 12 rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Hornets, Towns was kept in check by the Trail Blazers. And this may be a matter of the particular matchup more than the big man struggling, as he averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in the teams' first two meetings this season. While he didn't get the win, Towns has now posted a double-double in three consecutive and six of his last seven games.
Dec 9 - 1:10 AM

Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points (8-of-18 FG, 4-of-6 FT) with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 33 minutes Saturday against the Trail Blazers.

Wiggins has scored 20 points or more in consecutive games for the first time since mid-November, and he's also reached double figures in six straight games since going scoreless in a Nov. 24 win over the Bulls. If there's a negative in the Kansas product's performance it's the fact that he missed all four of his shots from beyond the arc. In the three games prior Wiggins, who entered Saturday shooting 37.4% from distance, was a combined 7-of-13 on those shots.
Dec 9 - 12:59 AM

Jusuf Nurkic scored 22 points (7-of-10 FG, 8-of-9 FT) with 11 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals in 29 minutes Saturday against the Timberwolves.

While Nurkic has now scored 22 points in four different games, it can be argued that his outing against Minnesota was his best of the season to date. The seven-footer posted his 13th double-double of the season, and his blocked shot and steals numbers matched single-game season highs as well. In the two games prior Nurkic scored a total of 18 points on 8-of-21 shooting from the field.
