Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 17 points with four rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday.

He continues to control the tempo, making an impact on both ends. Perhaps no rookie point guard looked better than SGA -- may not be close either -- and he may wind up getting in the rotation sooner than we thought. Gilgeous-Alexander has been much better on offense than expected, including a well-rounded arsenal headlined by his 25-point Monday. SGA looks like the real deal.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, every player on the Wizards "is available to discuss in trade scenarios."

This even includes John Wall and Bradley Beal with the team in disarray. Woj adds that Washington's preference is reshape the team around Wall and Beal and to use a package of Otto Porter and Kelly Oubre to bring in a third star, but those guys have "fetched minimal interest on the market." Beal is Washington's best trade chip by a mile, as Wall's extension begins next season and will average $42 million annually over the next four years. The Wizards are 5-11 and coach Scott Brooks may be the first domino to fall.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Michael Jordan is "fully focused" and "hellbent" on re-signing Kemba Walker this summer.

Charania adds that Jordan's stance likely won't change as long as the Hornets are competitive this season. Walker has made it very clear that he wants to remain in Charlotte, so this should be a no-brainer for a franchise with a poor track record in drafts and in free agency. Despite this report, it's inevitable that we will hear some trade rumors when the deadline gets closer with Walker on such a bargain of an expiring contract.

Goran Dragic (knee) will be re-evaluated on Monday.

"He's sore, still, and a little bit swollen," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He already has had an MRI but we'll check him out again [Monday] and then we'll go from there." It certainly sounds like it's possible this could sideline him for an extended period, but Dragic's fantasy owners just need to sit tight until we get an update from the Heat. If he does miss time, Josh Richardson and Justise Winslow will facilitate most of the offense, while Tyler Johnson could post mid-round numbers if he keeps his FG% up.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, there are "whispers" that the Pelicans are interested in Otto Porter.

Porter is in the second year of four-year, $106.5 million contract, and O'Connor speculates that an offer of Julius Randle, Solomon Hill and a first-round pick could work. Porter is having his worst season since 2014 and has often found himself on the bench late in games with coach Scott Brooks rolling with Kelly Oubre and Jeff Green a lot. A change of scenery could be a good thing for Porter, especially to an offense as good as New Orleans, but there's been no indication that the Wizards are ready to deal despite their awful start.

Rudy Gay started Sunday's game vs. the Warriors, posting 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting, three 3-pointers, five rebounds, three blocks and one assist in 30 minutes.

Gay dropped 12 points in the first quarter and looked plenty healthy on a high-flying dunk (see link below). The 30 minutes were a surprise since he's on a limit and the Spurs are taking every precaution to avoid his recurring heel soreness from becoming a long-term injury. This was the first game in a back-to-back set, too, so it's possible Gay gets a DNP-CD on Monday. Check for updates in the afternoon.

LaMarcus Aldridge found his shooting touch on Sunday, scoring 24 points on 10-of-16 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs with 18 rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Aldridge came in shooting 37.6 percent in November, with a pair of single-digit duds mixed in. He said prior to tonight's win vs. the Warriors that he was confident he'd turn things around. "I don’t think I’ve ever gone through this," he said. "But I will figure it out ... My shot has felt fine. It’s just making the rhythm carry over to the game." He sank his typical array of mid-range jumpers tonight and owners can be confident the worst of his slump is over.
Nov 18 - 10:12 PM

Jusuf Nurkic dished a season-high eight assists on Sunday with 13 points, 14 rebounds and one block in 31 minutes.

The Wizards give up the second-most points in the league and Portland carved them up tonight, with an extra boost from Nurk's savvy playmaking. Dwight Howard (lower back) didn't return after halftime which gave Nurk an even bigger advantage in the paint, but he finished a modest 3-of-8 from the field and 7-of-9 from the line. He's cruising along as a top-15 fantasy center.
Nov 18 - 9:51 PM

Trey Burke scored a season-high 31 points in 29 minutes off the bench on Sunday, sinking 11-of-20 field goals and 8-of-10 free throws with three boards, two assists and two steals.

New York's starters were crushed to open the game and coach David Fizdale found a spark with his second unit, so he stuck with them. Burke has picked up sporadic DNP-CD in November but he's now scored at least 24 points in consecutive games. Pick him up if you want to ride the hot hand, but the Knicks' ever-changing rotations mean he could vanish night-to-night.
Nov 18 - 9:36 PM

Enes Kanter started the second half on Sunday and posted 21 points (8-of-16 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 19 rebounds, three assists and one block in 38 minutes.

He had all eight of his offensive rebounds in the first half and it was a statement-game type performance after he expressed displeasure with a late-game benching on Friday. When asked if coach David Fizdale had explained his role going forward Kanter replied, "Nope. Nothing. Nothing. Zero." He benefited from rampant foul trouble for Mitchell Robinson tonight and it's unclear if he'll earn more starts given Fizdale's fickle lineups. Even if he does shift back to the bench, he's been giving fantasy owners top-75 value in a reserve role.

Aaron Gordon was on fire Sunday, making his first seven shots to finish 13-of-17 from the field for a season-high 31 points in a win vs. the visiting Knicks.

Gordon had 20 points in the first quarter and Orlando tied a franchise record with 44 points in the frame, taking a double-digit lead over the visiting Knicks. He sank four 3-pointers tonight while adding one rebound, two assists, one steal and four turnovers in just 29 minutes. AG is hovering around top-50 value and something tells us the best is yet to come.
Nov 18 - 9:29 PM

Nikola Vucevic piled up 28 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists during Sunday's 131-117 home victory.

The Magic led by 17 points early and held on to move above .500 for the first time since opening night. Vuc was coming off consecutive 30+ point games and he already has one triple-double this season, as he continues to play at a career-best level. He has added motivation in a contract year and coach Steve Clifford is getting the most out of him, to fantasy owners' delight.
