Jon Leuer underwent right knee surgery on Thursday due to an injury that occurred during an offseason workout earlier in the week.

Poor kid can't catch a break. 2017-18 was a nightmare for Leuer, as he missed all but eight games due to a variety of injuries, including season-ending ankle surgery in January. It's currently unknown if Leuer will be ready for training camp next month, but he is no longer on the fantasy radar.

Trevor Ariza is on the active list for Tuesday vs. the Spurs, but may not play.

Suns beat reporter Gina Mizell noted that Ariza is at the arena, but he didn't take the floor for warmups. The Suns are starting Josh Jackson in his place, and you have to wonder if there's a trade brewing -- he's been linked to at least eight teams and the Lakers are currently the favorites.
Dec 11 - 8:29 PM

Josh Jackson will replace Trevor Ariza in the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. the Spurs.

Ariza's days in Phoenix are numbered, and Jackson is coming off one of his best games of the season with 18 points, a career-high eight assists, four rebounds, one steal, one block and two triples in 31 minutes. This also gives the Suns another playmaker to take the pressure off De'Anthony Melton, as Elie Okobo was assigned to the G-League. Jackson is capable of putting up terrific counting stats, but his shooting percentages and turnovers that you have to worry about.
Dec 11 - 8:21 PM

David Bertans (personal) will not play on Tuesday against the Suns, as expected.

Bertans wasn't even present at shootaround, so it's not surprising to see him out tonight. His minutes will likely be divvied up between Dante Cunningham and Rudy Gay, with Gay being the preferable fantasy target.
Dec 11 - 7:00 PM

Dante Cunningham (abdominal soreness) will be available to play Tuesday against the Suns.

Cunningham sat out Sunday's game, but it looks like he'll be back in action tonight, which will could result in Chimezie Metu and Quincy Pondexter dropping out of the rotation entirely.
Dec 11 - 6:58 PM

Hassan Whiteside (personal) is being listed as "out" for Wednesday's game in Utah.

There's been no word of Whiteside returning to the team, despite his son being born on Sunday, so this four-game absence for the birth of his child is somewhat strange. The last time we saw him, he went to the locker room early during a loss, which head coach Erik Spoelstra deemed "unacceptable behavior," so the timing is odd here. Bam Adebayo will continue to start while he's out, and is worth owning in most leagues at the moment.
Dec 11 - 6:47 PM

Eric Gordon will replace James Ennis in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Portland.

This was the expected move based off Monday's reporting from Alykhan Bijani of The Athletic, and it'll be interesting to see how long this lineup switch sticks. As a starter this season, Gordon has produced averages of 19.5 points, 3.4 triples, 1.9 dimes and 1.6 turnovers per contest on 36.7% shooting. He'll be joined in the starting five by Chris Paul, James Harden, P.J. Tucker and Clint Capela.
Dec 11 - 6:29 PM

Dennis Smith Jr. (right wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

This will be his fourth straight game on the sidelines, and it's not a great sign that he's getting ruled out a full day in advance of tip-off. Jalen Brunson should be able to earn another start with DSJ on the sidelines, and Luka Doncic will spend more time running the offense.
Dec 11 - 6:22 PM

Dirk Nowitzki (left ankle surgery) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

This is the first time this season that Nowitzki is being hit with the questionable tag, and it was reported last week that he was targeting a return on this current homestand, so maybe he'll be able to make his season debut tomorrow night. He's likely going to be brought along slowly, and generally speaking, we wouldn't expect much from him in his age-40 season; so this is a wait-and-see situation in most settings.
Dec 11 - 6:18 PM

E'Twaun Moore (lower leg strain) is questionable to play Wednesday against the Thunder.

Moore sat out Monday's game with what the team labeled a "rest" day, but it's clear that the leg issue has been affecting him for over a week. We'll have a better idea on his status following shootaround, but if he is forced to spend another game on the sidelines, Solomon Hill and Darius Miller will soak up most of his minutes.
Dec 11 - 6:13 PM

Nikola Mirotic (right ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Mirotic has been fighting through the pain in his right ankle since November, but it just hasn't gotten any better, so the Pelicans will hold him out until he's clearly back to 100%. Julius Randle will get all the run he can handle while Mirotic is out, and there will be more minutes available for Cheick Diallo.
Dec 11 - 6:10 PM

Mike Conley (left hamstring soreness) is questionable to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.

Conley has been dealing with a sprained finger for the past week, but this is the first we're hearing of a hamstring issue. Hamstring injuries can be tricky, so the Grizzlies may want to give him the night off to get himself right. If Conley is forced to the sidelines, Shelvin Mack would be in line for a start, and Marc Gasol would likely see an uptick in usage. Stay tuned.
