DeMarcus Cousins (left Achilles) was filmed dunking as part of a forthcoming documentary about his recovery from surgery in January.

He jumped off his left foot for the dunk and this supports Steve Kerr's assertion that Boogie is "right on schedule ... [and] hasn't had any setbacks." Golden State can afford to be careful with him and GM Bob Myers said "the goal is to have him in the playoffs," but we should know more after training camp.

Kemba Walker erupted for 60 points (21-of-34 FG, 12-of-12 FT) with seven rebounds, four assists, a season-high four steals, six 3-pointers, and a season-high nine turnovers in season-high 45 minutes against the Sixers on Saturday.

Walker notched the first 60-point game in the NBA since James Harden at the end of January last season. He's now attempted 29, 31, and 34 shots in his three games against the Sixers this season. This is about as best as you can do to bounce back from a season-low seven points, like he did last time out. Kemba is playing at an All-NBA level right now.

The Kings denied a report from Yahoo Sports that there "appears to be a substantial disconnect" between the front office and coach Dave Joerger.

The rift reportedly stems from differing views of "the franchise's priorities and direction," and Yahoo's Chris Haynes writes, "Joerger’s handling of 2018 No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III could eventually lead to the coach’s dismissal." In response, Sacramento released a terse statement refuting the report. "Dave has our full support and confidence," it reads. "We continue to work together to develop our young core and compete."

Anthony Davis went off on the second night of a back-to-back set during a 125-115 win over the Nuggets on Saturday, scoring 40 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and no turnovers in 38 minutes.

Not bad after a 43/17/5 line. It's the fourth time he's scored 40-plus in consecutive games and he matched his career-high dimes in this win. Plus, he also did a great job on Nikola Jokic after the first quarter, too. Davis did have to go to the locker room with a nagging left arm injury in the first half, but he was rolling in the second half to get another win. He looks unstoppable right now.
Nov 17 - 10:05 PM

Monte Morris moved back to the bench on Saturday against the Pelicans, making 6-of-7 from the field for 13 points with three rebounds, four assists, two turnovers and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

The Nuggets went small more often in this game, so that explains Morris getting so many minutes next to the guards. He's seeing more time next to Jamal Murray these days and he's playing too well not to see minutes in the 20s most games. He's been phenomenal per minute this season, so he's proving he's worth owning in standard leagues until further notice.
Nov 17 - 9:27 PM

Tobias Harris scored season-high 27 points in a 127-119 win in Brooklyn on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

The Strong Island native was in control all night and it's almost a surprise that his 27 points is his highest given how well he's played all year. Harris is arguably the most consistent non-superstar scorer in the NBA and has hit at least 15 points in every game this season. He's cruising to top-30 value this season and his durability should keep him there.
Nov 17 - 9:06 PM

Alex Poythress (left ankle contusion) will not return on Saturday night.

He ran into Darren Collison and was in a lot of pain on the bench before going to the locker room. Poythress got a spot start against his former team today, but he'll almost certainly be moving to the bench even if he's OK. Omari Spellman and Vince Carter will get some extra minutes with John Collins at his minutes cap.
Nov 17 - 8:50 PM

Jarrett Allen made 8-of-13 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line for a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover in 28 minutes during a 127-119 loss to the Clippers.

He has come alive as an offensive weapon, especially on the offensive glass with 5.5 per game in his last two since returning from an illness. If Allen keeps rebounding this well, he should continue to flirt with 30 minutes after his 16-12 line on Friday. Plus, he's starting to make his free throws again, so Allen is looking like that player his owners reached for in drafts. He's a must-start player in all leagues.
Nov 17 - 8:48 PM

D'Angelo Russell handed out a season-high 10 assists against the Clippers on Saturday, adding 23 points with three rebounds, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

He also turned the ball over just one time and he is playing his best ball since becoming a Net. In his four games since the night of the gruesome Caris LeVert (foot) injury, Russell has averaged 22.3 points, 2.8 boards, 6.8 dimes, 1.8 steals, 0.3 blocks and 3.8 treys on 45.8 percent from the field. He'll undoubtedly slump at some point, but his arrow is pointing straight up.
Nov 17 - 8:44 PM

Kevon Looney moves into the starting lineup for Saturday's game in Dallas against the Mavericks.

Looney is coming off of a season-high 12 points in his last game and will be looking to build on that in the starting unit. Damian Jones will come off the bench.
Nov 17 - 8:30 PM

Anthony Davis started the second half on Saturday night.

he was dealing with a minor left arm issue, so hopefully this problem won't pop back up like his right arm did earlier this season. We'll let you know how he looks tonight.
Nov 17 - 8:24 PM

Goran Dragic (right knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers.

Dragic recent missed two games due to knee soreness and that ailment hasn't gone away. He's been inconsistent since returning, which might continue as long as he's not 100%. Tyler Johnson, Justise Winslow, and Josh Richardson figure to pick up the slack in the event of Dragic's potential absence.
