Tobias Harris (illness) will be a game-time decision against the Blazers.

He was sick earlier today and did not go through shootaround. If Tobias can't go, the Clippers would likely need a committee to fill the void with Mike Scott in the mix more, Montrezl Harrell playing some four, and they would be going with plenty of three-guard lineups.
Nov 8 - 8:42 PM

Dwight Howard (gluteal soreness) will not return for the second half of Sunday's game.

This is the same injury that caused Dwight to miss the preseason and the first six games of the regular season. He had trouble sitting to put on socks before the game and could be looking at an extended absence to finally overcome the ailment, but Washington should provide an update within 48 hours. Ian Mahinmi stands to gain the most if Dwight misses time, with Jason Smith likely emerging in the rotation and Markieff Morris shifting to center more often.
Nov 18 - 7:26 PM

Russell Westbrook (personal) is listed 'out' for Monday's game vs. Sacramento.

Westbrook and his wife just welcomed the birth of twin daughters, so he'll take more time to spend with his expanded family. Dennis Schroder gets another opportunity to shine with big minutes as the starting PG, but Westbrook could return as soon as Wednesday vs. Golden State.
Nov 18 - 7:06 PM

Marc Gasol posted a 26-point, 13-board double-double across 36 minutes during Sunday's win over the Timberwolves.

Gasol added four 3-pointers, three assists, two steals, three swats and two turnovers while he was out there, and he's really gotten off to a superb start this season after a disappointing 2017-18 campaign. He's currently riping away a career-high 1.7 steals per contest, which ranks No. 1 amongst bigs, and he's also connecting on a career-high 2.0 triples per contest. As long as the Grizzlies are competitive, his value will be safe.
Nov 18 - 7:01 PM

Karl-Anthony Towns put up a 15-point, 20-rebound double-double during Sunday's blowout loss to the Grizzlies.

KAT added one 3-pointer, two assists and one block while he was out there, but he also committed four turnovers, and the Timberwolves constant turnovers (20 to Memphis' 12) played a big role in the loss. Towns usage has oddly gone down with the departure of Jimmy Butler, but he's still been productive with averages of 19.8 points, 16.5 boards, 1.8 triples, 2.3 dimes and 1.5 swats per contest. It should only be a matter of time until he's back to dropping monster stat lines.
Nov 18 - 6:51 PM

Derrick White will come off the bench for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

Rudy Gay will be replacing him in the starting five, so it'll be interesting to see what White's minutes look like tonight. White has had a few nice games, but he's been trending down over the past two, and another dud tonight would put him on the cut-candidate list in most formats.
Nov 18 - 5:25 PM

Rudy Gay (heel) will be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

Gay exited Thursday's game during the fourth quarter, but the Spurs never said why and he never popped up on the injury report, so it looks like he's fine. Owners can feel free to get him active.
Nov 18 - 5:22 PM

Otto Porter (lower leg soreness) is a go for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers.

He'll be in the starting lineup, so owners can feel free to fire him up, and DFS guys may want to fade Kelly Oubre a bit.
Nov 18 - 5:12 PM

Trevor Ariza has returned to the Suns following a two-game absence due to a family/personal issue.

We don't know exactly why Ariza was away from the team, but hopefully, he got everything sorted out. It sounds like he'll be back in action on Monday vs. the 76ers, which should shift Mikal Bridges back to the second unit. Owners can expect to get official confirmation on his status following Monday's shootaround.
Nov 18 - 5:11 PM

Mario Hezonja (illness) is questionable to play Sunday against the Magic.

Hezonja is dealing with a stomach bug, but he's hoping to get out there, so he's likely going to be a game-time decision. That said, Hezonja picked up a DNP-CD on Friday, so even if he's available, there are no guarantees he'll actually touch the floor tonight.
Nov 18 - 4:50 PM

Draymond Green (toe) and Alfonzo McKinnie (foot) will not play on Sunday against the Spurs.

Green hasn't been able to shake this toe issue, so the Dubs will keep him on the sidelines until he's cleared back to being 100% healthy. It'll either be Jonas Jerebko or Jordan Bell getting the start with Green unavailable, and there will be more minutes for guys like Kevon Looney and Andre Iguodala. The Warriors don't play again until Wednesday, so for now, we'll consider Green questionable for that one.
Nov 18 - 4:34 PM

James Johnson (hernia) will make his regular-season debut on Sunday against the Lakers.

Johnson will be working with a minutes limit in his first game of the season, but he's on the radar as a speculative add in deep leagues. His upside isn't great, but he was worth owning last year with averages of 10.8 points, 4.9 boards, 3.8 dimes, 1.0 steal, 0.7 swats and 1.9 turnovers per game on 50.3% shooting. He'll likely cut into Justise Winslow and Kelly Olynyk's minutes once he's fully up to speed.
