Kyrie Irving carried the Celtics down the stretch during a 116-109 overtime win over the Suns on Thursday, scoring 39 points with seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and six 3-pointers in 43 minutes.

With the Celtics down 15 at the end of three it was Kyrie takeover time with 18 points in the fourth quarter and OT, and he's been absolutely incredible in the second half lately. Even before his explosion tonight, Irving's previous four second halves include a 28.5 usage rate and a tidy 79.8 TS% in those 16.8 minutes per half. Irving's usage rate has been identical in wins and losses at 25.9, but he's seen a noticeable uptick lately. After the rough start, he's trending up again.
Nov 9 - 12:26 AM

Jerami Grant (right ankle) participated during Wednesday's shootaround.

The Thunder will make a decision on his status later today, but he looks to be headed for a game-time call. If he's out, Patrick Patterson would be in line for another start, but he's a non-option in most leagues, regardless of how he enters the game.
Nov 21 - 2:09 PM

Alex Abrines (illness) and Nerlens Noel (illness) did not participate at shootaround.

Both Abrines and Noel were limited at Tuesday's practice, and with them sitting out shootaround, they're on track to miss another game. Hamidou Diallo will likely pick up most of Abrines minutes tonight, and Steven Adams will get all the run he can handle.
Nov 21 - 2:06 PM

Terrance Ferguson (personal) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the Warriors.

Ferguson has been away from the team for the past two games tending to a personal matter, but he was present at shootaround and will likely be back in the starting lineup tonight. That would end Hamidou Diallo's run as a starter for the Thunder.
Nov 21 - 1:43 PM

Otto Porter (hamstring) practiced on Wednesday.

This is the first we're hearing of a hamstring issue for Porter this season, but the fact that he was able to practice after logging 38 minutes on Tuesday would suggest it's more or less a non-issue. We'll throw him on the injury report just to be safe, as there's a chance he could sit out Friday's game with that being the first of a back-to-back set, and owners can expect to get another update by Friday's shootaround, at the latest.
Nov 21 - 1:39 PM

Dwight Howard (gluteal soreness) did not practice Wednesday and it's unclear if he'll travel with the team for Friday's game in Toronto.

Scott Brooks said that Howard's gluteal issue is "no better and no worse" than it was before, which isn't great news considering he was struggling to put on socks on Sunday. The Wizards continue to list him as day-to-day, and while surgery hasn't been discussed, that could eventually enter the conversation if he's not able to shake this injury. Thomas Bryant started in his place on Tuesday, but didn't do much, and Ian Mahinmi picked up another DNP-CD. Markieff Morris might be the biggest beneficiary while D12 is out.
Nov 21 - 1:36 PM

George Hill (left shoulder) went through an on-court workout following Wednesday's shootaround.

To be clear, Hill will not play today against the Lakers, but he's nearing the end of his initial two-week timetable, so maybe he'll be able to get back out there for Friday's game against the 76ers or Saturday's matchup with the Rockets. He was flirting with top-100 value prior to going down, but with the Cavs in tank mode, he may not be able to regain his spot in the starting five. Still, he could be worth grabbing in deep leagues if you've got someone to cut.
Nov 21 - 1:17 PM

Victor Oladipo (sore right knee) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

This will be the second straight game out of the lineup for Oladipo, which should result in another start for Tyreke Evans and more shots for Bojan Bogdanovic and Darren Collison. The Pacers have downplayed the knee issue, saying that they just want to make sure Dipo is back to 100% before he takes the court. While it seems relatively minor, there's a chance he could miss Friday's game against the Spurs as well.
Nov 21 - 12:53 PM

Omari Spellman (hip) and Alex Poythress (ankle) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.

They were both being listed as doubtful heading into this one, so it's not surprising to see them hit the sidelines. John Collins will be moving into the starting lineup tonight, and at the very least, he should be able to see minutes in the mid-20s with very little depth behind him. Spellman's run as a relevant name in fantasy hoops has likely come to an end with Collins getting fully up to speed.
Nov 21 - 12:34 PM

John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.

It only took Collins two games to regain his spot in the starting five, and it'll be interesting to see what his minutes look like tonight with Omari Spellman (hip) and Alex Poythress (ankle) unlikely to play. Collins and Dedmon will be joined by the usuals: Trae Young, Kent Bazemore, Taurean Prince.
Nov 21 - 11:46 AM

David Nwaba will replace Larry Nance in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Nwaba is getting the tall task of guarding LeBron James, so we wouldn't expect much from him, as he'll spend most of his energy chasing around The King. Maybe he's worth a punt play in DFS, but that's about it. Nance has too inconsistent to trust in most settings.
Nov 21 - 11:31 AM

Willy Hernangomez (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

Hernangomez wasn't even able to participate at shootaround, so it's not surprising at all to see him hit the sidelines, and he might not play on Friday in OKC either. Frank Kaminsky or Bismack Biyombo could get into the rotation with Willy out, but that doesn't mean much in fantasy hoops.
