Hassan Whiteside (personal) is not traveling with the team and will not play Friday in Phoenix.

Whiteside is away from the team for the birth of his first child, so his absence from Friday's game is not related to him heading to the locker room prior to the final buzzer sounding on Tuesday. He is expected to rejoin the club at some point during their six-game road trip, but for now, we'd consider him doubtful for Saturday's game against the Clippers. Bam Adebayo and Kelly Olynyk will pick up the slack while he's out, and both those guys are on the radar in deep leagues.
Dec 6 - 12:39 PM

JaVale McGee (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. Charlotte.

McGee missed shootaround with flu-like symptoms. If he is unable to play, Tyson Chandler would likely draw the start and would be a popular streaming/DFS option. Moritz Wagner and/or Ivica Zubac would also likely re-enter the rotation.
Dec 15 - 12:07 PM

The Suns have acquired Kelly Oubre in a trade, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

Thankfully, there are no other Oubre players in the league, and luckily Miami wasn't involved to have another possible Kelly O in the mix. Joking aside, this is a very interesting spot for Oubre, who should have an excellent shot to see minutes in the 26-30 range even when the team is healthy. He'll be added to a deeper wing core of Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Josh Jackson, and T.J. Warren. Oubre should eventually have a shot at value, but getting so much more competition for minutes could be a negative at first. He's still a hold in standard leagues.
Dec 15 - 11:55 AM

Austin Rivers will be traded to the Suns, along with Kelly Oubre, in exchange for Trevor Ariza.

The move to Phoenix increases Rivers' fantasy appeal, as the Suns are in desperate need of point guards/playmakers. Last season, Rivers logged over 33 minutes a night for the Clippers and finished the year ranked 140th overall in nine-category leagues. If you can deal with the poor FG percentage, he's worth taking a flier on in standard leagues, as there's a decent chance he returns late-round value, especially with Devin Booker sidelined. Unfortanuley, Suns rookie De'Anthony Melton will see his minutes reduced.
Dec 15 - 11:50 AM

The Suns have traded Trevor Ariza to the Wizards in exchange for Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers.

For real this time... After all the chaos involving Dillon/ MarShonBrooks and the Grizzlies on Friday night, the Suns and the Wizards cut out the middleman on Saturday morning and put this deal to bed. Otto Porter (knee) is dinged up right now, but Ariza should slide in alongside Otto on the Wizards starting frontline once Washington is fully healthy. Ariza's fantasy value takes a slight bump up with the move to Washington, as he's now playing for a team committed to making a run at the postseason and will play him as many minutes as he can handle, without any unnecessary rest days.
Dec 15 - 11:47 AM

Klay Thompson scored 27 points (10-of-27 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs) with a season-high nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

After failing to make a 3-pointer for the fourth time last game, Thompson knocked down at least four triples for the ninth time. One of his four triples was the go-ahead bucket during the Warriors' 17-2 run to end the game. He's still shooting well below his career average from deep on the season, but he's up to 39% (32-of-82) over his last 10 games.
Dec 15 - 2:07 AM

Steven Adams was a beast vs. the Nuggets on Friday with a season-high tying 26 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes.

He did make a brief trip to the locker room early on, but there's no report of an injury. Adams hit 12-of-20 from the field and was bullying Nikola Jokic at times, but Jokic got the last laugh and had an outstanding offensive game as well. Adams is having the best stretch of his career, averaging 22.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks over his last four games.
Dec 15 - 2:01 AM

Draymond Green scored just two points (1-of-3 FGs), but grabbed 10 rebounds and dished 10 assists in Friday's win against the Kings.

Green added five turnovers and one steal against the Kings. He hasn't scored in double-digits in the three games since returning from injury, but has dished out at least seven assists in each game. He's currently averaging a career-high in turnovers, which is sapping his value just a bit.
Dec 15 - 1:58 AM

Stephen Curry scored 35 points (11-of-23 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs) with seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, and five 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

The three steals mark a new season-high for Curry, who has registered at least one steal in the seven games since returning from injury and in all but four games this season. After scoring just 10 points last time out, he scored 30+ for the fourth time in his last seven games. He's been a top-4 player since returning on Dec. 1.
Dec 15 - 1:51 AM

Marvin Bagley (left knee bone bruise) will be out at least 10-14 days before being re-evaluated.

Bagley took a hard fall going for a rebound in Friday's game against Golden State and left after just five minutes of playing time. The rookie is slated to miss the next two weeks before being re-evaluated, which elevates the opportunity of Nemanja Bjelica, Kosta Koufos, and Justin Jackson.
Dec 15 - 1:46 AM

Kevin Durant scored 33 points (9-of-20 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs) with eight rebounds, eight assists, and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

Durant has scored at least 30 points in 13 games this season, which is just under half of his games played. The Warriors ended the game on a 17-2 run, which sealed the win, and KD scored eight of those crucial points. He's been a top-3 player in nine-category leagues this season.
Dec 15 - 1:39 AM

Nikola Jokic went off for 24 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two triples and six turnovers in a 109-98 win over the Thunder on Friday.

That win keeps the Nuggets on top of the standings out West. Jokic had trouble containing Steven Adams (26 points), but it was the same story for the Thunder center as Jokic finished 8-of-16 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line. He's having the best stretch of his season with 24+ points, 11+ rebounds, 6+ assists and 2+ steals in three straight games. He'll get the Raptors on Sunday, a team he dropped a 23-15-11 line on back on Dec. 3.
