Gary Harris (right hip strain) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets.

This will be the second straight game out of the lineup for Harris, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss Saturday's game in Atlanta as well. Torey Craig got the start on Wednesday, but it was Malik Beasley who saw the most minutes, although neither of those guys did anything all that noteworthy. Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic will be asked to do more on the offensive end while Harris is out.
Dec 6 - 1:06 PM

Otto Porter (knee) is out again for Friday against the Nets.

He still can't get right after being a game-time decision and sitting out on Wednesday. Porter's season has been an injury-filled letdown, and hopefully the time off for his knee can help his knee heal too. It'll be Jeff Green starting again after a surprising 22-point Wednesday while Kelly Oubre continues to play extremely will.
Dec 14 - 7:05 PM

Taj Gibson (personal) will not play Saturday against the Suns.

Hopefully everything is OK, but the Wolves shouldn't need him against the worst team in the league. This puts Dario Saric in a smash spot for DFS, and it should be Anthony Tolliver backing him up.
Dec 14 - 6:57 PM

Rodions Kurucs will get his first NBA start against the Wizards on Friday.

Allen Crabbe is not going to play due to a minor knee issue, so coach Kenny Atkinson will reward the rookie for his strong play. He'll be the youngest non-American to get a start for the Nets in franchise history, and he should have a shot at 24 minutes. He's coming off a strong 13-point, three-steal game on Wednesday, so he's an option as a DFS punt tonight. He's not a bad stream either.
Dec 14 - 6:52 PM

Eric Bledsoe, Pat Connaughton, Tony Snell, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez will start against the Cavs on Friday.

If you missed it, Khris Middleton (finger) and Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) are out for this one, but it doesn't sound like they'll be out for long. The Cavs are one of the best matchups in the NBA with the horrible defense, and Connaughton could see additional run in garbage time. He just got over a knee issue earlier this week, but he's a viable DFS punt today.
Dec 14 - 6:43 PM

Dwyane Wade (general soreness) is out for Friday against the Grizzlies.

General Soreness is back on duty and stationed in Memphis today after Miami's road trip is coming to a close. Wade played 32 minutes in the two games before getting blown out on Wednesday, so it's no surprise he's out here. Tyler Johnson should get his minutes extended while Wayne Ellington, Justise Winslow and Derrick Jones Jr. could play more.
Dec 14 - 6:38 PM

Otto Porter (bruised right knee) is a game-time call for Friday vs. the Nets.

This isn't much of an update because Porter is still listed as questionable and day-to-day with no further details on the severity. Kelly Oubre has been on fire lately and will benefit the most if Porter sits, but Jeff Green would pick up some minutes/value as well.
Dec 14 - 6:04 PM

Allen Crabbe (knee) will not play Friday against the Wizards.

Coach Kenny Atkinson said Crabbe banged his knee, but is confident it’s a short term issue. Crabbe has been hot and will undoubtedly be back in the starting lineup upon his return, so he is still a hold. For tonight, Spencer Dinwiddie should be in the starting lineup while DeMarre Carroll, Shabazz Napier, Rodions Kurucs and Joe Harris pick up a few extra minutes. Dzanan Musa has also been called up for today.
Dec 14 - 5:59 PM

Jimmy Butler (groin) will not play Friday against the Pacers.

That means Furkan Korkmaz is likely looking at another start after an 18-point game in a tough matchup against the Nets, and Landry Shamet should also get minutes in the 20s. Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are both looking at some heavy usage as both will be chalky plays in DFS. Butler is day-to-day after missing his second game, and coach Brett Brown said there's a chance he could play Sunday.
Dec 14 - 5:52 PM

Zach LaVine (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Saturday against the Spurs.

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune adds that LaVine is expected to miss a game or two. He said he heard something pop on Thursday when he hurt himself on the last play of the game, and he's getting an MRI on his ankle today. LaVine has been a usage monster for the Bulls and just played 40 minutes on Thursday. If he's out, Antonio Blakeney, Chandler Hutchison, Cameron Payne and Shaq Harrison should pick up minutes. Harrison offers the most fantasy upside for his steals output, but none of these guys are strong adds in 12-team leagues.

Khris Middleton (right finger sprain) is listed as out against the Cavs on Friday.

Uh oh. Middleton had been closing games lately, and has been in a brutal slump since he was benched against the Knicks back on Dec.1. Maybe he was playing through it, but this comes as a surprise. Coach Mike Budenholzer said the team had bumps and bruises, but didn't mention anything specific. With him out, Pat Connaughton and Sterling Brown will be getting some big minutes on the wings.

Malcolm Brogdon (left hamstring soreness) is listed as out for Friday against the Cavs.

It's a new injury for Brogdon, but the team calling it soreness and Brogdon himself said he's feeling sore today. Brogdon plays off ball a good amount, but this should add slightly more ball-handling responsibility for Eric Bledsoe. Pat Connaughton, Tony Snell, Sterling Brown and George Hill should see extra playing time with Brogdon and Middleton out.
